Yesterday, I had a beige rug cleaned by Justin. It was an old rug that had been stored in our basement for several years and had several ingrained dog urine stains and some other old stains from spilled drinks. Justin did a phenomenal job in removing most of the stains, and the ones that were not entirely removed because they had become entrenched over the years of storage, he was able to tone the stains down so that they are significantly less noticeable. As noted in many of the other reviews, Justin is very dedicated to his job of cleaning rugs and shares a lot of knowledge on how to treat stains going forward. In addition, the price was very competitive compared to the other rug cleaning companies with whom I obtained quotes. Further, within a day-and-a-half of my requesting a quote, Justin was at my house within the one-hour time frame I was given cleaning the rug; he spent n entire hour cleaning a 12x12 rug. Five stars for: (1) great service with a great-looking final product; (2) competitively priced; and (3) extremely prompt. Duraclean is a keeper. read more

My wife and I hired Duraclean of Atlanta to clean our carpets immediately prior to our first child being born and were delighted with the quality of service and professionalism. John and his team were terrific; they showed up on time, moved all the furniture, cleaned the carpets to a like new condition and returned the furniture with protective pads/wraps. I was so impressed with Duraclean's Residential performance that I hired their commercial division to provide moisture mitigation and humidity control services on a 270,000 SF Student Housing Project. I rarely give 5- star reviews. I've tried the well-known, fast food sorts of carpet cleaners, and because they are typically woefully lacking, I finally decided to try a smaller (hopefully) more local cleaning company. It's a risk, I know. It's a little pricey (FYI- I'm a finicky, bargain shopper so maybe I'm not the best source on that matter) but WORTH it! The Duraclean reps actually made an appointment; they **looked** and acted like pros (seriously, this guy could pass as my accountant); they showed up on time; they did a thorough job. Best of all, they acted as though I was an actual customer, whereas most of the companies 'round here act as though *they* are doing you a favor by showing up!! Just one recommendation - customers would benefit if staff could send an appointment reminder by text or email. Finally , I love, love, loved the way my guy offered a few tips to keep me on the right cleaning track. That's just who they are now - my guys. :) read more

Duraclean did a great job on my company's carpets! My boss commented "They did an amazing job. They even got the stain out of the white rug in the lobby". My company selected Duraclean to clean our entire office space (we occupy a whole floor of the building we're in). Half the space was being renovated, the other half still occupied. John and his crew were timely, prepared and professional. Without complaint they overcame some unexpected obstacles (the carpets were supposed to have been vacuumed prior to their arrival) and ultimately they left the carpets squeaky clean-what a difference it made to the appearance of the whole office. We also appreciated that they did much of the work over the weekend or at night, as was necessary, given the timeline of the renovation. I have never had occasion to use Duraclean in a residential application so I can only comment on their work from a business perspective and I would definitely recommend them. read more

We had our area rug for one week when I spilled a full cup of coffee which made a huge stain. We tried a number of cleaning options, including the Little Green Machine and a Woolite rug cleaner with Oxy. The Little Green Machine actually made the spot worse, turning the entire huge spot a "lovely" brown instead of the light gray and white color previously. After reading a lot of reviews, we made an appointment 3 days later with Duraclean. In the meantime before the appointment day, our 10 week puppy made 2 urine mistakes on the same rug. Ugh!!!! Not only did Justin return our area rug to perfection, he also explained about the procedure and correct way to spot clean any stains. These tips are good to know, but the next time we need our rugs or carpets cleaned or have a stain corrected, I am definitely going to call Duraclean back! Needed my carpets cleaned right before Christmas and found Duraclean here on Yelp. Had great reviews and needed someone who could do it at a moments notice. I called and they were able to fit me in that same day. Had them do all of my carpets (4 bedrooms, a hallway and a set of stairs). We have animals in the house along with two young kids and my carpets get really dirty. John and his crew arrived on time and started the job. We had just put in new hardwoods on our first floor and they took great care to keep water and dirt off our brand new floors as well as carefully moving our furniture. We have had several other cleaners clean our carpets in the past few years and I will say its been a while since I have seen these carpets look that clean. My pet urinated all over a brand new area rug on a Monday, no less. I, unfortunately, blotted the mess and ended up pushing the urine further into the carpet and then I used, which, is a no-no, Dawn soap detergent, which basically sealed the urine into the carpet. :( if it could've went wrong, it did because of me. However, when the Duraclean technician arrived he educated me on what not to do & what to do in these instances, and then he diligently went to work. Needless to say, the technician was phenomenal not only did he cut through the barrier that I created but he lifted the stain up and the carpet was returned to a brand new status. I am in a new home and he was meticulous with his machinery to not scrape, scratch, or ding any part of the house he was very very careful. 5 STARS! We had a long-standing mold problem beneath our glassed-in porch, causing mold to permeate into the room itself. Duraclean did an incredible job eliminating the mold both underneath and in the porch. It smells fresher and cleaner than it ever has. John, Duraclean's owner, gave us a full assessment of the problem and a very fair price to remedy it. Among the best features of Duraclean's work is that they cleaned the furniture and upholstery in place as well as the crawl space and all wood surfaces below the porch. Justin did all the work on-site by himself. A perfectionist, he worked long hours to ensure that everything was completed to his and our satisfaction. I highly recommend Duraclean of Atlanta. Justin was sent to my home to clean up dark spots the movers had left on my new (just-installed) carpet. Needless to say, I was very upset about the spots and nervous about the carpet cleaner smudging the spots and making it worse. That was not the case. All of the spots were gone when Justin was finished. The carpet looked new again! What I also appreciated about Justin was how knowledgeable and helpful he was. He gave me tips on how to clean up spots myself (and not by using carpet spot remover cleaners nor soapy water) and how I could immediately walk on the clean (but still damp) carpet without dirtying it up all over again. Fantastic job!!! Finally getting around to leaving this review. I'll start by saying I'm a big proponent of right the first time, and "buy nice not twice". I decided to get our carpets and tile cleaned before moving into our house. DuraClean was not the cheapest,but their reviews were excellent. I hate when someone does a poor job,and you end up having to pay someone else to fix it. The carpets didn't look bad, or so I thought. I just wanted the peace of mind knowing they were "professionally cleaned". They know their stuff, and how the chemicals they use work. I appreciated having someone who was as OCD as I am. The most meticulous carpet cleaner I have ever had! Firstly, the company is run in a professional manner, starting with the initial phonecall. Justin called ahead and arrived on time. He had his work cut out here but did an amazing job removing old stains and leaving my white carpet beautifully clean. He was much more demanding than even I am! And he generously cleaned an area that I had decided to let go this time. What I also really appreciate is that they clean exactly what you want cleaned. My DR is a walk-through and other than that path, the carpet is perfectly clean. Others would only quote entire rooms, but Duraclean had no problem cleaning just that path. John with Duraclean answered my call at the time of a flood in my house. He was professional and most importantly got on site with in a few hours of the flood. This speedy response helped minimize the damage and illuminated the potential of mold starting. He was clean and tidy and left no trace of the drywall that had to be torn out. I had a sudden water issue and was able to speak with John when I called late on a Saturday night. I felt I was able to wait until Sunday morning for someone to come out, and John arrived at my house at the agreed upon time. He quickly assessed the problem and began mitigation and set up a time for later in the day for another crew to arrive and begin tear out of the damaged Sheetrock. The crew came day after day, at an agreed upon time, to check on the mitigation and get my walls, ceiling, and floor dried as quickly as possible. My wife and I ordered our first piece of furniture together, a used sectional sofa with some stains. I am very impressed with the service provided by Duraclean. This is a top notch company. I would highly recommend. We were impacted by hurricane Ian. We were fortuate to have let them in a neighbors home. They came right over to our home.
