MANNA'S IS AMAZING!…read more If I could award more stars, I would. The staff and volunteers here (I volunteered for a little bit while I was going to college) are amazing angels. They accept everyone and don't ask for anything from you. They offer meals to those who can't afford them. The meals and fantastic, too. While volunteering here, they told me and my friend to sit down and have some lunch. Let me tell you that the lunch they cooked up in that magic kitchen was some of the best food ever. Like, it puts your mom and grandmother's cooking skills up for scrutiny. The place is so clean - they thrive on cleanliness. The parking lot isn't very large, but it's clean and serves it's purpose. There is a play section for children. There are showers if you need to use them. The bathrooms are clean. If you have food that you aren't going to eat - please donate it - Manna's can put it to use and help a bunch of people. If you're looking for something selfless to do - volunteer at Manna's. Even if it's not that often, a little helps a lot. I really wish I was still in Durango. I missed helping and volunteering - and Manna's was the most fulfilling place to volunteer!

Apparently the mission of the La Plata County Restore is decorating (That's not for sale, it's just for decoration.) and storage (a list of about seven items they would not accept because they have too any of already.) They have too many because their things are priced far too high, some items I wanted had not even been checked for operability (I'm not purchasing something I don't know works) and no one there seemed particularly interested in selling anything, acknowledging your presence, or helping. Whoever is managing this is doing a terrible job. I'm not sure they want people to actually purchase anything.
