He came out within hours, diagnosed the problem and advised against repair when compared with the cost of a replacement. I agreed that it makes more sense to buy a new washer. Geary didn't charge me for the visit, though I would have been grateful to pay. Honesty, top notch service and bailing out a lady in need. This guy demonstrates integrity and generosity in business. He's the one you want to call. I only wish I had a Geary to call on in my home town! :)

Our freezer died so of course I called the appliance repair company to help us fix it. They sent someone over and he did some work then said we needed to order a part in order to get it fixed. Meanwhile our freezer is out of commission. Two weeks go by and no word. I call them and they say they didn't even have a report made from their technician on that freezer so they started one two weeks late. Ok let's order the part so we can get the freezer fixed. Two weeks go by again and I call them back. "Oh looks like that part didn't get ordered, sorry about that." Meanwhile our freezer is out for over a month at this point. They ordered the part, it came in a few days later, the part was installed and freezer worked again for another month before it died and ruined everything in it. At this point we would have opted to buy a new freezer although our landlord wanted us to keep working with these people and hold them to their work. I called back and same technician comes out again. He "fixes" it without telling me what was wrong or what needed to happen, charges my card that I had never consented they store on file and then it breaks again another month later ruining hundreds of dollars worth of food yet again. I've been calling them every week since this has happened to try and ask what was wrong with our freezer in the first place and if we need to just buy a new one and throw it out. Every single time they say, "we'll call you right back about this". I call again and they just tell me the exact same thing again and again with no call back. Terrible customer service, don't waste your money on them and don't give them your credit card if you choose to waste your money on them.

However this review is about giving credit to Barrett and his staff for working with me and supporting me as a customer as I endured the delivery of not one, but two refrigerators that, out of the box, did not work. They hung in there with me, gave me a loaner, and after four trips to the house, the adventure is over and I am happy with my new refrigerator. This is exactly the kind of service, in a difficult situation, that builds customer loyalty.

Took 2 months to fully be done with the process and 4 separate visits. They tried to install a beat up floor model first, second day tried again with new parts installed on the same beat up model. Eventually ordered what i paid full price for and one more visit to replace the damaged door panel it came with. In the whole process we must have called them 10-15 times and never once received a call back...only way anything got done was if they picked up randomly and/or you go to the store again in person (which i was forced to do to get the damaged door panel ordered and scheduled. In the end, my cabinet is damaged from having a dishwasher installed and removed so many times by uncertified installers. wish i could post the pics here

I took my awesome Kenmore (which ran great) into get a new belt. For some reason John took it upon himself to do a bunch of other UNNECESSARY repairs that were not the right parts for my vacuum, then proceeded to charge me for work and materials I did not want. We I returned the next day to have him look at it again, I am pretty sure he was on some kind of drug...he was erratic and confrontational.
