If you know you need to have a tooth removed, and are feeling worried about it, I want to assure you that Dr. Mehrotra and his staff took excellent care of me! Dr. Mehrotra was so gentle and kind, and his soft-spoken manner put me at ease immediately. He administered the shots of anesthesia skillfully, and made sure I was 100% numb before he smoothly and quickly removed my fractured molar. His assistants were also calm and pleasant, and I felt safe in their experienced hands. The office is very well run with a great website that I used ahead of time to submit my new patient information. When I arrived, all my paperwork was in order and the insurance coordinator was clear on how much my insurance would cover and how much was my responsibility. I appreciated their organization and that there were no hidden fees. They are in-network for Delta Dental of NJ so the portion I had to pay was minimal. As a plus, the office building is beautiful, as is the interior design of the Oral Surgery Center. I liked looking out at the scenic hills of Warren as I sat in the dental chair.

For 2 years, there has been an issue with the wrong responsible party/insurance information attached to an account. I explained multiple times that I am not the insured party and therefore cannot access insurance claims or speak with the insurance company regarding the account. Despite repeatedly notifying the office of this error, nothing was corrected, and now the issue has escalated to collections. Today alone, I called multiple times trying to speak with someone who could actually help resolve the problem. Each call resulted in the same cycle: being placed on hold for extended periods, being transferred to extensions where nobody answers, or being bounced between staff members with no resolution. What was especially unprofessional was hearing personal conversations continuing in the background while I sat on hold waiting for assistance. On more than one occasion, someone answered the phone only for the issue to remain unresolved while background conversations carried on. This is not the only billing issue we have experienced. A few months ago, my wife brought the children in for a visit and was told we owed more than $1,200 from 2022!!!!!We had received no bills indicating this balance, and after several phone calls, long hold times, and a significant amount of back-and-forth, we were eventually told this was a mistake and that we did not owe anything. The most frustrating part is that the current issue could have been corrected years ago had someone simply updated the insurance information properly. Instead, after repeated attempts on my end to explain the issue and get help, I am now dealing with collection notices over something tied to incorrect billing information. This has been an incredibly stressful and exhausting experience. Communication is poor, billing management appears disorganized, and reaching anyone capable of resolving problems seems nearly impossible.
