Fearing a blockage I called the local vet that we normally take her to who told me that they couldn't see her because they were booked (even though it was possibly a life threatening matter). They told us to take her to an emergency clinic (which is very costly) 45 miles away. I called Nokomis Veterinary clinic and they got her right in with no problem. The vet tech Amy was very kind, knowledgeable and eager to help. Dr. Meghan was fantastic. She did a thorough exam and explained everything in detail. She was very gentle with our fur baby. After 3 injections, an IV and 2 take home meds we left with a kitty who felt much better and continued on to a full recovery. The bill was very minimal. I've been taking my animals here for 3 years now with no complaints. No one is pushy here trying to make me buy things that are unnecessary. They take care of my animals and are reasonable about it.
