Luckily for us I called Chambers Appliance Sales & Service and left a voicemail for Mr. Ron Chambers on Sunday 10/12/25. And within 3 days he had gotten us a new element and installed it. This has been the absolute worst contractor my husband and I have ever dealt with. They were…read morereferred to us by a friend. I spoke to Mr. Greene in April, and everything seemed efficient at that time. However, he failed to inform me that he sold the company two years ago and wouldn't be working on our well. It was actually another company even though he still works there and they are using both businesses' names (DJ Pumps is the other). That was mid-April when the contract was signed. They didn't come to our property until late June, without warning or communication. The crew that came did nothing but complain about how low Mr. Greene's bid was. Our neighbors' wells average 50 feet deep, but they insisted on drilling until 190 feet, admitting they would get a bonus the further they drilled, also knowing that would raise the consumer price. After a week on our property working very short days and not drilling properly, they gave up and said another crew with a larger drill would have to come out. In all honestly, they didn't know what they were doing and couldn't keep the proper viscosity for the well. There was over a month with not one word from them. I tried multiple times to communicate, but they refused. When they finally came back, they refused to run PVC casing, which would have again met the smaller bid. They never attempted, never communicated, and continued to run the bill up nearly twice the amount that it was guaranteed. Then, after drilling, it took them another 2 weeks before placing the pump. It took well over 6 MONTHS to get the well! I have a doctorate in business and have tried to explain to them how unprofessional they have been, but they refuse to listen and still refuse to communicate professionally and properly. So, I want to ensure others are aware. They pulled the same stunt on one of our neighbors, and if I had known the original business had sold, we would have NEVER chosen this company.

Not knowing which type of liner to get, either or over the top or J hook, I took a picture and sent it to the lady. She told me it was over the top liner. When the workers came, they told me I had the wrong liner. Scheduling the day of work was a bit difficult. First I was told it was too hot for the guys to work. My thinking was "Of course it's going to be hot, it's summer". Then I got a text message to confirm a date of a Saturday in June. I called the lady after I got the text to go over a few things and she no idea who I was. She asked me where I lived and I told her. She said they're not gonna be anywhere near that area on Saturday. I was like you just told me via text you were coming. Then in an email, she said I needed to get "10-50 lbs of play sand". I bought 50 pounds just to be safe. Finally when the workers did arrive and we got past the issue with the liner ( that's after I had to run to a pool store and buy 45 plastic retaining clips) they asked me if I had any duct tape. I had a little bit left so I gave it to them. I showed them the sand that I bought then ran out to do a few errands. Shortly after I left the lady called and said I needed to buy more sand. According to her, I was instructed to buy 10, 50 pound bags of sand. I tried to explain to her that when you between put a hyphen between two numbers it indicates a range. she couldn't understand that part. So I ran back to the store again to buy more sand. When I return home, the workers if I had more duct tape. I said to the I was literally just at Home Depot. Why didn't you tell me before I left. So I had to run out to the store a third time. Oh, I forgot to mention that the day before the work was actually done I was on the schedule for the afternoon. Needless to say nobody ever showed up. I had to call the office mid afternoon to find out what's going on. Like everybody else I just love wasting my day waiting for people to show up and dont.
