Our older daughter has been blessed to have Ms. Deeba as her lead teacher in both the Toddler and Primary classrooms. We are so grateful for her patience, guidance, and encouragement. Our younger daughter joined the Infant Room at just 3 months old, and Ms. Khalida, Ms. Dilshad and Ms. Vanessa gave us so much peace of mind during those early months. She is now thriving in the Toddler Room with Ms. Zoha. We also appreciate Ms. Diana for creating such a warm, welcoming school environment and Ms. Morgan for always greeting our girls with kindness and making our family feel so welcome. One feature we've especially loved is the live classroom cameras. Being able to occasionally check in and see our daughters learning and playing has provided tremendous peace of mind and is a wonderful feature that not many schools offer. We are incredibly grateful to all the teachers, assistants, and staff for the love and care they pour into the children every day. That was definitely not me in high school - and I went to a great private Catholic high school. I love that they now have different levels of the IB program to fit each student's goals. The school continues to grow and expand - yet maintain what we love about a caring, smaller community. Yesterday a school in Allen accidentally called me saying that they had my son's phone but could not give me the child's name because there are almost 2k 9th graders, and she did not know. I can't imagine being somewhere that the office staff did not know my kid's name. Everyone at the Westwood School knows my student - and what would best serve him academically and emotionally - as they know what is "normal" or not normal in his every day interactions. I never worry about him during the day as I know he has the most caring community teaching, guiding, supporting, and looking out for him. We can't wait for the beautiful new campus. The tour last week just blew me away as to how amazing it will be for the kids - and I can't wait for our new gym! The teachers are phenomenal and like college level educators! There aren't enough stars for how much this school has made our son confident, caring, and ready for anything life hands him. I don't worry about his future. He believes he can do anything he wants to do in life - and I love everything about this school. There is nothing like it when I talk to all of my other parent friends around the nation - and I am so blessed we found it when he was small.

The academics are rigorous following the Montessori (18 months - 5 years old) and Classical (1st-8th Grades) Pedagogies. The teachers and staff feel as if this is a vocation, not just a job. They care for each student and goes above and beyond to work with their students to succeed. The focus to help each student succeed and to reason clearly, choose morally, and serve faithfully. The average class size is about 12 students, which helps give more attention to the needs of each student. A focus of the school is "more green time and less screen time", which is seen through the Agricultural Studies program and the many outdoor learning classrooms. MSMCS is a faith-based school with daily Mass, monthly confessions and Adoration. It is truly a special place. I have read the reviews that are posted here and need to comment on the negative postings. I am truly sorry for the memories and ways that some of the girls were treated when they attended the Boarding School on the campus of Mount St. Michael. The Boarding school closed in the late 70s. The current school, Mount St. Michael Catholic School is NOT the same school as it was in the 1940s-1970s. Mount St. Michael Catholic School is an apostolate of the Christian Community of God's Delight, a lay Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group which started the school in 1986 to provide a faith-based school of like-minded families to partner in raising their children.

We have experienced nothing but love from all caregivers, including Kim and the substitutes. The passion for early development is alive and well at this school. My son was enrolled in Guidepost Flower Mound's Spanish Immersion program for 18 months, and we rarely went more than a month without a major change or staff turnover. We stayed as long as we did because the Guides caring for our son were excellent, but they have all since left the school. Over time, it became apparent that there were significant issues behind the scenes. The atmosphere among staff often felt tense, and the administration was not transparent with families about changes affecting the school. Important decisions were typically communicated only after they had already been made. We ultimately decided to withdraw when the school announced the closure of the Spanish Immersion program. The announcement was sent to parents on a Friday evening and gave just two weeks' notice that children would be separated into existing classes. It offered only vague suggestions about future Spanish language instruction. There was no attempt to consult with parents beforehand, despite administrators stating the program had been under review for months. Attempts to seek clarification afterward were met with vague responses rather than clear answers. The final disappointment has been the handling of our deposit. In March, both the Head of School and administrators at TNC Schools confirmed in writing that our deposit would be returned. Several months later, we are still waiting. There has been no communication since March and no explanation for the delay. It is difficult to understand why a commitment made clearly and explicitly in writing has not been honored. Having toured many Montessori schools in the area, my impression is that Guidepost is priced as a premium option for local families. While every family must decide for themselves whether that cost is justified, our experience of constant staff turnover, program instability, poor communication, lack of transparency, and the school's failure to follow through on its written commitment to return our deposit did not reflect the level of professionalism and stability we expected. For those reasons, I cannot recommend the school to other families.

As parents, we did not feel the concerns were handled with the seriousness or urgency they deserved. Following our withdrawal, Guidepost Montessori confirmed in writing that we were owed a refund totaling $2,156, including deposits and an overpayment. We were told a refund check had been requested. Unfortunately, nearly four months passed without receiving any refund, despite repeated follow-ups. We contacted school administration, regional management, and were later informed that refunds were being handled by a new entity after a change in ownership. Even after being redirected and providing all documentation again, we received no payment and no response for an extended period of time. The lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism--especially after concerns related to our child's well-being--has been extremely disappointing and stressful for our family. A school that promotes trust, care, and Montessori values should demonstrate the same responsibility in how it treats families, both emotionally and financially. I strongly encourage prospective families to ask very detailed questions about administration stability, classroom oversight, and refund policies before enrolling.
