He gave me the best price out of all the shops by far! Not only that but he dropped the headliner in about 30 mins. I asked DnA to recover 18 cushions in a sailboat salon. Deana did the selling. I did not negotiate…read moreprice. Instead I emphasized prioritizing accuracy and quality. Many of the finished cushions differed in shape from what they took from the vessel. Primarily we found significant gaps where the cushions met, most of which in the vessel's salon. Additionally, Deana agreed to a strict cushion height specification which many cushions failed to meet. When asked to rectify, their first attempt was to simply reposition the cushions on their velcro fasteners. As this slight-of-hand was unacceptable, we then learned that DnA outsources their upholstery fabrication as the fabricator visited the vessel and suggested a number of [wacky] solutions including adding foam to the rear of the base cushions to elevate the cushion backs. After repeated attempts to obtain proper corrections, Deana turned my dissatisfaction over to her husband Avi. He visited, removed and returned some cushions, none of which satisfactorily meeting the core expectations. For the pleasure, DnA sent yet another invoice. Finally, after Avi vented his distain for us, as a customer, to our marina management, we elected to seek another vendor to resolve our issues. I strongly urge customers considering DnA to do your diligence and consider alternate vendors who perform and manage fabrication in-house and convince you that they will honor their word.
