My husband and a group of friends from Colorado were there the past couple of days. I was supposed to go, but unforeseen circumstances did not allow it. Keep in mind, that other than 2 boys, they are all very experienced bird hunters, and the boys are pretty darn gird bird hunters. My husband and I used to tear them up in Lubbock on our own prior to the outfitters monopolizing the territory. Yesterday morning: Crane Hunt - Guide could not figure out how to get on the property and once he did, did not know where to set up. Setup was completed late. They were also set up in layout blinds which was not communicated prior - not that big a deal - but communication is key. Three birds total between 9 hunters. Birds all around, but the guide was unable to bring them in - thought they were supposed to be experienced guides? Also, guide did not clean the birds. Yesterday afternoon: Dove hunt - 3 birds total. No birds around This morning: Same 9 hunters - five birds total. A-frame blind. Same as yesterday, guide could not call them in. Guide did clean the birds. They are posting all over social media how they are tearing them up and to book your hunt - don't bother. Yes, we realize that no hunt is guaranteed, however, we have used other outfitters out there that at least looked like they knew what they were doing and we tagged out or got close to tagging out most days. With one of them even offering to take us in the afternoon because the morning was pitiful. This was the worst one yet. read more

I will add to the terrible reviews it doesn't get any better with the turkey hunting either!! Zero birds were heard not a hen not a tom , zero turkey tracks were found, never bumped a turkey either. They advertised anywhere from 3,000 to 50,000 acres depending on which hunter they were talking to. We hunted 400 acres after telling them we hadn't heard anything they just kept saying we'll get yah some more land we just gotta talk to the rancher... Then we found out 6 other people were there the day before us. We were supposed to be the first ones to hunt the property for the season. Come to find out 3 of them left after 15 hours of being there and the other 3 had no luck either. They also said he told them he had more property but never showed them any. The list goes on and on. They (Austin & Hunter) stayed drunk the entire time and only showed up to the place late at night and left early morning.. I did receive half my money back and they wouldn't give the other half back so ended up booking with another outfitter and turkey hunting after we had already been there for a day and a half. The place was trashed, empty condom wrappers falling out of freshly made beds, broken tables and counter tops. We were in Muenster Tx. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT BOOK WITH DUST DEVIL OUTFITTERS. read more

Terrible outfitters with terrible communication. We drove eight hours to hunt crane and they took us on a goose hunt. Austin admitted he screwed up and scheduled us on the wrong hunt. The hunt was horrible and zero geese or crane were killed. Refused to refund our money. Do not recommend read more

These guys did were awesome! Not only did we shoot a 12 person crane limit be we also got a comedy show!! For the first time hunting with these guys they sure made us feel like we were life long friends. Great group of guys running a top of the line operation. read more

This was a terrible experience for my family. We asked prior to going what kind of blind would be used he said a trailer blind. They got there and it was a lay down blind. There were no birds and the guy charged the full $350 per person and my 13 year old disabled son who I was told would be $150 was charged $350 as well. If you could give ZERO stars that's what they deserve. read more

Charged FULL price for a sand hill crane hunt where ZERO opportunities to shoot were presented! No offer for another day or anything. 99% of outfitters will try to make things right after a hunt like that, but not these guys. Don't fall for the pics from the "good hunt". read more
