Our home needed a spring cleaning. Artwork fills our spaces and we needed a service that would be careful, precise and attentive. Our Dust Queen Service providers arrived. This is the first time I hired a cleaning service. Due to a sore back I wasn't able to keep up with my cleaning. I chose the deep clean package because it covered what I wasn't able to do and more. The online booking was incredibly easy. The team showed up on time, were quiet when they worked, and were very thorough. I especially appreciated getting all my blinds, walls, and interior and exterior windows cleaned. My home feels very fresh again. read more

Buyer Beware. The scheduler was friendly and amicable when setting up the appointment. That part was a positive interaction. BUT The team did not arrive during the requested time, they showed up several hours earlier. Luckily someone had not yet left for the day and could meet them as they sent an email ahead saying that if we, the customer, was not available for the time they arrived we would be charged. The team seemed to forget there was someone in the condo who could hear them while they worked. In the future they may want to keep that in mind. They did not provide the services outlined in the "complete cleaning package" on the website. Nor did they provide the specific services that were requested. They were however very quick to process the payment. Which for what they did was not good value for the money. Not recommended. read more

I've been using Dust Queen for almost two years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. I have a weekly service at up and the teams are great, professional, and courteous. We run a 24/7 business and half of it from our home as well, so we tidy as much as we have time for which unfortunately isn't always quite enough. Hiring cleaners is a new shift for me therefore I am always uneasy letting people see our "organized chaos". The girls were very pleasant and very efficient. The couple of things we asked of them and everything we didn't for that matter was done to perfection. The place is spotless! Truly a really beautiful job and we couldnt be happier. I'm hesitant to touch anything now without first wearing a white glove. =) What more can I say? We've definitely found our new cleaning service. Thanks very much! I used this cleaning service for more than two years. They had won several awards for customer service so I was very hopeful that by going to a larger organization that I would not have the problems one gets with a smaller maid service, like frequent cancellations. Dust Queen is very expensive compared to hiring a independent contractor or smaller group, but supposedly for that money comes better service, a large enough staff that illnesses or other absences would be covered. Well that was so not my experience. I never went more than 2 months without my appointment being cancelled or moved and often the morning of my cleaning. Usually they would call after they knew I was not at home, so as to avoid my wrath. Also it seemed that they rarely sent the same team, so each cleaning there would be rookie mistakes. Then it turned out their accounting department was so inept they had not been charging me for about 5 months, so they called up and say they want to put a huge amount on my credit card. That was the last straw, I started looking for a new service then. read more

I checked out dust clean when I did a move out clean for my rental property, and since they had continually won rewards and what not I decided to go with them. I found their prices reasonable compared to other cleaning companies that I called and the lady that I talked to over the phone for a quote and questions was super friendly, and was able to give a TON of information to me. I felt good knowing who I was going with. Since my cleaning was on a Saturday, I dropped off my key Friday Morning. I'm always so leary about going somewhere before they open regardless if they say someone will be there or not, but sure enough two people answered, and chatted with me about my upcoming cleaning, offered me coffee and everything. Really, they should have at least four stars for their customer service. The office staff are great! Though, they're not in the customer service business, they need to shine when it comes to cleaning services... The cleaning happened on Saturday morning and the lady was great to contact me when they went in, when they were out, and met up with me later that day to get my key back. There were no issues with that. The issues I actually have are in regards to their actual cleaning. Overall it looked great, the floorboards weren't dusty, the walls were washed, and I was initially impressed... though that's when I stepped into the kitchen :( The floor was incredibly sticky, and there were still crumbs on the counter! The Fridge was cleaned on the inside however the shelves that they put back weren't put in properly and were crooked. While walking through the bedroom I noticed something had dragged dirt through the doorway, it looked horrible. Really?! After such a good experience up until this THIS is what I'm looking at!? Since the weekend fell over a weird holiday I was planning on calling them after Canada Day, however they did call Monday to see how it went. I called back and talked to another lady and voiced my concerns and she did say she'd pass them along and the other lady who would follow up that day. That was three days ago, no follow up and I see the full amount was charged to my card. In my opinion that's not good business. You pay good money to have a house professionally cleaned and to still have crumbs on your counters and a sticky kitchen floor, and dirt in your carpet (I had had the carpets professionally cleaned three days prior and that was NOT there prior). Needless to say I won't be using them for my services again, nor will I recommend them to friends. read more

The absolute worst cleaning company to deal with. Sold our house and had them come in to do a final cleaning. They broke the face of our dish washer off and tried to tell us that it was broken like that when they got there. Talked to Manny and Micheal at the company and they said they were going to talk to trail appliances to have it fixed, after a full day of trying to confirm the appointment they had booked for the fix it comes out they just ordered the part and tried to hire some garbage company to try and piece it back together. They refused to give us our money back for the cleaning and wouldn't cover any part of the dish washer. Beware I would never recommend this company to anyone!! read more

We booked a Move In/Move our service with Dust Queen at the end of last month. Not only did they show up an hour late, they then charged us hundreds of dollars extra without our approval for 'needing extra time due to things being in the unit'. The things in the unit were new tenants moving in, which they were made explicitly aware of during booking and had assured us they would be finished prior to. We have never once seen an invoice from them and have never been able to get a hold of a manager or have our calls returned. Absolutely horrible customer service and a complete rip off. We were charged almost $1000 for a mediocre clean after being quoted around $600. Please do not use this company. read more

I had Dust Queen come to my home this past Wednesday to do a full cleaning. They sent a team of 3 ladies who arrived on time within the two hour window I was given the day before. The ladies were polite, introduced themselves, and shook my hand upon arrival. One team member instructed the others what needed to be done and indicated specifics such as wiping down doors, tops of ledges, etc. They were very thorough and efficient and cleaned my 1200 sq. ft. condo from top to bottom in just over two hours (it wasn't really that dirty and its just me and my dog living here). Getting your house cleaned isn't cheap, but I felt for having 3 people here and the good job that they did, I received very good value for what I paid. As a senior who can't bend over and get down and clean toilets and showers like I used to, this is well worth it to have this team come once a month. read more

I called and booked a move in/move out quote for a rental property in another city. I had given them my credit card number for deposit and was told I would be sent a full quote, I never received anything from the company via email. The day of the clean, they called to let me know they might take longer than expected and would still be there when my tenants movers were coming in, which initially I was very specific that they needed to be finished by, but I said that's fine no problem. Two days later they charged me $900!!! Without ever having been told an amount or seen any sort of information or approving any costs. I called them immediately and they told me that by telling me it was going to take another couple hours, I should have known the cost and that was my 'authorization'. I disputed this with them and they said they would call me back, which they never did. I have since called several times and never heard back from anyone. Do not book with this company. read more

I decided to splurge on a really thorough cleaning for my apartment, I checked reviews etc. and decided to use Dust Queen. I called, got an estimate for 3 hours and arranged a day and time- I was going to be at work so arranged with my landlady to let them in during the time window- between 10 am and noon. She texts me close to noon, saying she has to go out- I call Dust Queen and the window has changed from noon-2 pm without bothering to let me know. So I had to reschedule for the next day which was a little annoying but OK. The 2 ladies showed up on time and were very pleasant. I went to work and got a call asking if I would authorize another hour to get everything done. I said OK, take the extra time. My place looks great but then I get the invoice and I am charged for another extra hour on top of the one hour I agreed to- so 5 in total. So the total is about $130 above what I was originally quoted. Not very happy but after a few messages I got a call back from someone and they will refund the extra hour, which I appreciate. I was ready to blast them for not getting back to me but they did and were very pleasant and apologetic for the misunderstanding. So I got a nice clean place and good customer service which makes me happy. read more

Do NOT use this company. I paid $500 for 2.5 hrs of cleaning and came home to cleaning that I had to redo myself. Took pictures of the toilets and faucets sent them to their manager hoping she would compensate us for the horrible job, instead she told us she would send people back a second time (why they couldn't do it right the first time??) was hoping she would have offered a discount or some sort of money back but NOPE, that's not how they do business. i had Dustclean come into my home on a weekly basis. I found the quality of work to be very inconsistent. The level of detail was not as they advertised. Even though they cleaned the same house each week the charge varied each time by as much as 2 hours! I would definitely not use them again. They are overpriced. read more
