Every time I've used this service, they have been on time, courteous, and have done a great job. One time I had an issue with scheduling and had to call to make a change, and they were totally accommodating, even on short notice. I really appreciated them going the extra mile and doing a great job. read more

I chose Student Suds because they offered the lowest quote to have my exterior windows washed and my vinyl siding power washed. I am not impressed with the results. I guess you get what you pay for. Most of my basement windows appear to not have been washed or even sprayed down with the power washer. They didn't show up for our original appointment time. I had to call them to have it rescheduled. I will never use this service provider again. read more

They didn't show up to clean my house on the Friday before Christmas (Dec. 23/11). When I emailed to ask why, was told it was a "scheduling error". It was my regular cleaning day so that wasn't possible or believable. Was also the 5th Friday before a long weekend that they didn't show. Used them every second Friday for six months - cleaning was inconsistent but leaving me high and dry for Christmas without any alternative was terrible. Won't be using them again. Window cleaning okay but pricey as the price increased from $300 to $400 in one year for the same main floor windows. read more

I had been looking for a house cleaning service for a little while and came across Student Suds. The quoting process was much simpler than other companies and someone contacted me very soon after I submitted my request. The process and prices are also very straight forward. They were on time and did a very thorough clean. I also received a call following the clean to make sure that everything was satisfactory and I was happy to give a good review. I'm looking forward to having them come by again next month. read more

History

Established in 2006.

Starting in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and surrounding areas, the first 5 years of Student Suds focused on growth of seasonal window cleaning, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning services, all while providing students with good paying high quality employment during the summer months. The beginning of 2011 saw the start of year round housekeeping service and hiring part time students all year round. In 2015, seasonal services continued to expand to Calgary and surrounding area.

Meet the Business Owner: Jason E.

Jason started Student Suds while completing his BSc degree majoring in Mathematics at the University of Alberta, and after running a student summer painting franchise for 2 years prior. Since then, he has focused on providing quality cleaning services to homeowners and providing students with good paying work experience without the costs and risk of a franchise.

I used Molly Maid (just don't) for a long time until I found my way to the promised land of Student Suds. An exceptional local company that is certainly customer focused and management that is both friendly, flexible, and really awesome to work with. I look forward to my monthly cleaning every month and am so thankful to come home to a spotless apartment where I could eat my dinner off the kitchen floor if I wanted to (sometimes that is just how I roll). I highly recommend them and will continue to have them in my life for as long as they will have me. Really, they had me at hello! read more

I have always been very pleased with the spring clean-up work done by Student Suds (eaves troughs, power washing, windows). The quality of the work is excellent and all the crews who have worked here over the past number of years have been efficient, friendly, polite and professional. I have used Student Suds 2 years now. I love that Jason reminded me when I had requested, that they were prompt, professional and very conscientious. This year we added Eaves trough cleaning to the windows. Really really good job. So happy to have my husband off the roof at a surprisingly reasonable price with no mess!! read more
