Came out to the desert for a quick little trip and passed by this place one afternoon and figured I'd hit it in the morning for my Java fix. I think a lot of people use the drive-through here, but there was a longer line and I decided to walk up to the front window. Service was great super friendly cashier and helped out with making a suggestion on what I needed to get. It was good to know that most of their large coffees came with four shots of espresso, which I was a fan of the price point was right and I got a good coffee. I don't have any of these in the area where I live and I heard good things about it. My coffee was good and the price point was great too.$6 They did have a lot of drinks on their menu vary from coffee to energy drinks to lemonades teas and all kinds of other stuff. I honestly have no idea how this coffee company stays in business. I have been hugely disappointed every time I have tried them. I had an offer for a free drink and it had been awhile so I wanted to give them another chance. I ordered a medium ice blended caramel coffee and it was terrible. The coffee flavor was so watery tasting that it was almost nonexistent. Instead of being thick and creamy like other coffee shops' theirs was thin with a third of it being ice. The staff is always in an amazing mood--even when it's raining, they're still out there with genuine smiles on their faces, which really says a lot about the service and atmosphere. I recently visited this Dutch Bros location and had a frustrating experience that I think management should be aware of. The staff were friendly, but it became very noticeable that several employees spent an extended amount of time socializing with one particular customer in the drive-thru who appeared to be someone they knew personally. While it's understandable that regular customers build relationships with employees, the conversation went on much longer than what would be considered appropriate during busy business hours. As a result, the rest of us waiting in line were left sitting unnecessarily while employees focused their attention on that one vehicle instead of keeping the line moving. Customer service should be consistent for everyone. It's great to create a welcoming atmosphere, but employees should be mindful that lengthy personal conversations can slow down service and make other customers feel like their time is less important. If they want to catch up with friends or regulars, it would be more appropriate to do so when there isn't a line of waiting customers or after the transaction has been completed in a way that doesn't delay others. I hope management reminds the team to balance friendliness with efficiency. I finally got to try out this place that so many of my friends have tried when they're in the area. Not surprised that it was delicious to say the least! Upon ordering, there wasn't a long line for the drive through and since it was my first time, I panicked not knowing what to choose! There are more selections on their website if you wanted to look that up beforehand to not overwhelm yourself like I did. I ended up getting a a Medium Blended White Chocolate Mocha! I was scared at first that it would be super sweet, but the blend made it super refreshing. Great drinks but SUPER SUPER passive aggressive service coming from the broistas on Sunday morning at 8/18. Accidentally ordered "drive-thru" when ordering through the mobile app. Went down instead and was told 3 times that I "need to make sure that I choose the right one next time." Totally get why it's my fault but I do not need to be told three times by two different employees. Dutch Bros has been popping up all over the Coachella Valley the last few years and finally gave it a go! Overwhelming as a first timer. They have two lanes and a sign to say pick the shortest. People aren't good at merging or etiquette so that gave me anxiety. I'm pretty sure the car in the other lane cut in front of the car in front of me cause they got mad and just sped off lol! I didn't have any issues merging in when it was "my turn". Whew. Now the menu options was also overwhelming. From the classics, to freezes, to frosts, rebels, teas, sodas, smoothies and more categories I can't think of. Then there's sub categories for each of those. Different flavors, toppings, hot, cold, blended. Endless options. I don't even know where to start. I got a Snickerdoodle freeze with soft top and whip. I was craving more of a dessert but had a feeling it would be too sweet for me, and it sure was. Good but too sweet for me. That soft top though is fire. Now at least I have an idea of what I like and I'm sure I'll eventually find my go to drinks here. Finally, the service is what you would expect from Dutch Bros and it certainly lived up to its reputation. I kept seeing TikTok's where the employees would be overly friendly, essentially climbing into your car. I had a chuckle cause the lady at the window was leaning really far out the window while talking to the car in front. I'm way too introverted for this lol! I have to say that I've never been to a Dutch Bros Coffee and my friend who used to live in Tucson would rave about this place, so when he found out there was one close by to where we were, he said I had to try it. First things first, we chose not to go through the drive thru because it was long and I wanted to walk up to the window. This is a small location and you can only order at an outdoor window if walking up - just an FYI. The gentleman who worked there was SOOOO friendly and really made our day. Just very helpful and happy to have us as customers. It was a nice feeling for a Saturday morning. I ordered the Annihilator Nitro Cold Brew which was the *perfect* amount of sugar for me. I don't like sugar drinks so it was refreshing knowing they had something perfect for me without having to make modifications. This was my first time personally trying it out, but I have seen many tik toks and many friends from the Northern California area talk about it a lot too, it's pretty uncommon to find a location at least from where I am located! Their drive through line was pretty packed for a Sunday afternoon around 12pm, but this place has some cool energy drink combinations too so it seems like a pretty good place to get your morning or afternoon caffeine kick! I got a medium white chocolate mocha ice blended drink with soft top, and it was delicious, but nothing too "unique" about it. Was in the mood for something cold and sweet so I went with the vanilla mocha blended and also tried the white mocha blended with a soft top. For $17 total, it doesn't feel worth it. I got a lavender green but it was like a concentrated type green base. It was very obviously not brewed in house. The pop though had a ton of flavor and punch from the fizz so that is good. I had heard Dutch Bros being hyped up so much and I just happened to be passing one on my way out of the desert so I had to stop and see what the hubbub was about. There were two long driveways for everyone to pull up and fall in line as 2 workers with tablets took your order when you got to the front-ish, but they'll still walk up to you if they've finished with the cars up ahead. The lines seemed to merge at the end as you had to wait for your coffee up ahead (at a window? I couldn't quite see with all the cars blocking the way and the sun in my eyes), but strangely enough a worker had run out to us before we even merged and brought us our drinks and she said she didn't know why ours came out first haha so she just brought it out to us. Their large size is HUGE in my opinion. I didn't think the cup would be that massive but I had over an hour drive home so it was great! And my cousin ordered a medium oat milk latte as well. The coffee was good and tasted exactly how a vanilla cold brew and oat milk latte should taste, but nothing phenomenal or mind blowing unfortunately. I wanted to see what the hype was about, but after trying it, I could definitely settle for any other coffee shop. The workers are extremely nice and sociable! The preview of available drinks is very impressive, along with the prices of each drink, both hot, and cold. Dutch Brothers is privately held and has 422 locations. The company is based in Oregon, and they expanding at a nice pace with fast, friendly service, quick drive thru service and high quality drinks. Dutch Brothers buildings are normally small, and they focus on drive thru only. I haven't seen a location that you can actually sit down inside. All in all, glad to see this new location on Coachella Valley. read more

Five stars for great service and great coffee. It was my first trip to Dutch Bros and I'm sad to say there isn't one near my home. I happened to stop at this location by mom mothers house a few hours away. Fortunately there was no line and I was able to drive right up to the order taker. All the folks I engaged with were awesome. They actually asked about my day/weekend and cared to listen to my answer haha. They asked followed up questions. I just feel you don't get customer facing skills like this at any drive thru. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu too. They were knowledgeable and suggested a wonderful choice. I had the Iced Golden Eagle which is a Vanilla and Caramel coffee drink. It was just a tad sweet for my preference but definitely enjoyable overall.
