How have I not been here yet?!?! A must try & then just keep going. Having boring store bought coffee every morning, this is a nice treat on the weekends. Kind of glad they're not open M-Thur, waistline & pocketbook would hate me. Drinks were really good, the Frankenbrainz & Redrum weren't as sweet as I thought. Barista was super nice, friendly & helpful. Area around the coffee truck & the truck itself was super clean & calm. They offer oat milk for the dairy free & a discount for cash payment. I will definitely be back not only for the coffee & the smiley barista, but I forgot to tip - damnit ‍ I was too excited for the coffee (& cheesecake).

The cake was amazing, it had some sort of coconutty filling that made it really moist, kind of like a tres leches cake. The toffee chocolate was my second favorite. The chocolate frosting was perfect and not too sweet. They also had some gluten-free and keto options. Service was great, and it looked like they put the cupcakes together on the spot, which took a few minutes to prepare. I'll definitely be back for the yummy coconut cupcakes.

We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. We'll be back for "research purposes" and to satisfy our sweet tooth!!

It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment. I'm pretty tolerant of grumpy people (you know, sometimes there's a reason) but this just felt really icky -it was our intended destination after a hot drive from Phoenix and it did not sit well with us. We won't be returning. Food =10 Customer service = so disappointing 3

If you find yourself in North Indio, there is one spot you absolutely cannot skip. After a family…read moresushi dinner this past Sunday night (April 19th), we decided to see if the local hype around Better Ice Cream was justified. Spoiler alert: it definitely is. First Impressions & Atmosphere The moment we walked in, the first thing I noticed wasn't just the display cases--it was how clean the place was. You could literally smell the freshly mopped floors, and every table was shining. It's rare to see a high-traffic dessert spot look that sharp on a busy weekend night. Service Under Pressure There was only one young lady behind the counter, and despite the place being packed, she was a total pro. She was incredibly attentive and managed to get everyone's order--including our group's--completed flawlessly without breaking a sweat. That kind of service is hard to find, especially when a shop is that busy. The Main Event: The Flavors The ice cream itself was amazing, but the real showstopper for me was the Orange Julius. It isn't pictured, but it was the highlight of the night. One sip took me straight back to my childhood--it was perfectly creamy, frothy, and hit all the right nostalgic notes. The Verdict Whether you're finishing off a meal or just looking for a weekend treat with the family, this place delivers. Great vibes, spotless environment, and top-tier treats. Pro Tip: If you're looking for a trip down memory lane, get the Orange Julius. You will not be disappointed!

We ordered a 4 pack. 4 scoops of ice cream since that was the special. The flavors were interesting and unique. Majority of the flavors that I would like at a regular ice cream shop, didn't taste like that here. I didn't really care for the ice cream. The girls working behind the counter seem to dislike being there, as they taking our order. Overall I would come back for a quick ice cream trip if I needed to.

Almost like a collector of things needed a place to display memoriablia. The place is called Coco Freeze Ice Cream Shop but they only have 8-10 flavors to choose from- maybe less... but definitely not more. We ordered a hot dog, corn, and ice cream. The counter person was nice and explained the difference between items like a volcano corn vs extreme corn. She also provided some suggestions. When the food/ice cream finally arrived, it was just okay. My ice cream portion on the super churros was small. It's one churro cut into 3 with melon baller sized ice cream scoops. The churro was a ready made like churro that was probably micro heated. The extreme hot cheetos corn was gross. The cheetos were stale, the corn was canned and tasted old and so did the cheese. No amount of lemon and tajin could fix it. The ice cream was good, but probably because it was Thriftys. The save was the hotdog. It's a polish dog, that was partially heated through, but decent enough to eat. Oh! Before I forget... a small little boy ran behind the counter and was playing back and forth from behind the counter. Word to the wise, that's an OSHA issue waiting to happen. People seem to like this place. I'm guessing mine was just an isolated bad experience. However, it was enough for me to decide it wont be a place for me to come back to. Just an fyi - there are no prices on the menu.$27 for 2 ice cream items, a hot dog and corn.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.
