The restaurant is small but seems to fit just the right amount. They have a variety of items you can choose from whether you are looking for a noodle dish, rice, or curry. I've only had one bad experience which occurred a couple years ago when it took over an hour to get our food which at that point we didn't even get it because we had to leave. We visited My Thai in Ripon in January 2025. This is our go to Thai restaurant in the area. This visit was particularly enjoyable. Our waitress was extremely friendly and made several suggestions to us. She also gave input on the selections and made she she went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. 10/10 service. I ordered the Fish Curry and Crab Fried Rice. Wife ordered the Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea. Overall, I would say that the Fish curry was good but I missed the Red Curry or Panang Curry that I normally get. The Crab Fried Rice came with epic proportions. I would say it was good but lacked a little in the flavor department. It was a great experience. The ambiance is nice and usually pretty quiet and enjoyable. Expect a nice environment with light music and comfortable seating. A great date spot for sure! Overall 5/5 consistently here. My friend had gone here before and told me about it. We stopped in on a Saturday night and it was hoppin'. I'm glad there was a spot for us. I liked all of the decor and the boldly painted walls. A lot of gold accompanied the decor which made it pop. We were in the mood for some soup and couldn't decide. Our waitress played a clever little 'pick a number' game to assist us with our decision. And it was #27 the big bowl of chicken noodle soup basically. It came with 4 different sauces for us to try. I think I stuck with the garlic chili oil. There was plenty to share between the 2 of us and we still had leftovers. What topped off the whole experience was the staff. Fun little conversations. Crab Rangoon - nice and creamy, but the outer shell was too hard which I didn't enjoy. Cat fish - delicious and would order again! Mango sticky rice - I would not order again. The rice was too hard which didn't pair well with the soft mangos. The mangos weren't as sweet as I liked and the coconut cream was wayyy sweeter than I thought it was gonna be. Everything g tasted yummy, but the massaman curry could have been a spicier-we asked for medium and it wasn't very spicy. Pad Thai also could have used a little more spice-but I find the fish sauce, tamarind and all the other flavor yummy and complex. We tried the broccoli with oyster sauce-it was delicious-lots of perfectly cooked Broccoli and carrots. Wow! It has been a long time since I have tasted authentic Thai food IN THE Valley. I found this restaurant through the Tracy location. The spicey catfish with eggplant and vegetables is the best! The chicken Pad Thai is also really good along with the Roti. Yellow chicken curry is really good as well. I dined in with my bf and the lady serving us was okay. Wasn't able to take a picture but the side of sticky rice came in a bamboo container but was wrapped in a plastic bag.. it also had a smell to it so we did not eat it. It seemed like there were only 2 workers - the server and the cook. It took a while for her to bring our fried banana and ice cream so we went up to pay and was going to tell her we didn't want the dessert but they already made it. So we took it to go and this is what we saw. The fried banana had a very odd dark color to it so I split it in half and turns out they used an old rotten banana. Also, the ice cream was flaky meaning it was melted and refrozen. Can't believe they serve these to customers. read more

My lunch at a bit after noon was shocking. My "spinach" dish was mostly pre-prepared broccoli and crinkle-cut carrot bars (much cheaper than spinach!) apparently just dumped in from the bags, broccoli and meat in pieces not just too big for one bite but most too big to even get a mouth around, and no more than barely warmed up -- some of the broccoli stems not just raw but cold. Too-large pork slices were obviously pre-prepared also, probably boiled, and tough and tasteless. The two mouthfuls of spinach were the only really hot things in the dish. All this served with only a fork and a small teaspoon to move the rice (mushy at noon? Must have been held from day before) to the sauce or vice versa, no way to cut broccoli or meat to bite-size. Smooth coconut milk based sauce mildly flavored with peanut was good but I had to wonder if it too had come out of a jar. Spring rolls were okay, and large, but could have done without the piece of bad-tasting avocado and might have been better without the thin slice of over-boraxed shrimp. Vinegary sauce did nothing to complement the rolls. The only Thai/Vietnamese restaurant I've seen with no spice tray, and it's almost impossible to get the attention of a waitperson once served to try to get some additional seasoning to offset the bland meat or a bland dish. Hot tea was whole leaf jasmine, tasted very good but spout of china teapot was too small and dripped no matter how steeply I tipped it. Presentation -- all matching white china oblongs and assymetrical bowl-- pretty but too big for contents and couldn't fit onto table so it was possible to reach all the dishes. One of the most expensive Thai restaurants around and I had to wait ten minutes to get a waitperson to come to the counter -- two couples in restaurant, one just leaving as I came in. The meal got there quickly, for obvious reasons. This was the worst of several tries at this restaurant, by about 10%. I don't think I'll be back unless I see a "new management" sign. read more

The reason for the 3 stars is due to the bad ethics and poor service. Food is good and we usually like to come here but we will no longer eat here after our last experience. The server never came to check on us and we had to go to her to get anything we needed. After following up on my food, she realized it wasn't entered or they forgot. I want so so badly to like this place, but honestly the quality is just not there. Last time I came, I ordered the Pad See Ew with Tofu after driving 15 min out of my way, it wasn't until I sat down to eat it on what was left of my 30 min lunch break, did I see it was completely charred black. The tofu was so hard it was inedible without chipping a tooth. I hoped I just caught the kitchen on a bad day... I ordered the same thing today, I checked that the dish wasn't completely burnt, and headed out. Tofu is super gross and harder than chewing gum, everything else seemed fine, until I took a bite with a nice chunk of eggshell. I'm honestly just so disappointed and grossed out. Maybe the cook just sucks at noodle dishes and that's why it's always terrible and almost $15 . Their curries are decent but honestly I've run out of chances I'm willing to give them.
