First I'd like to point out that even though there is always a line at this location (for good reason) the staff is very fast and efficient. I stop here most mornings on my way to work, and the staff is always friendly, there's always good energy, and the drink suggestions I've had from their staff have been delicious every time. I haven't ever been to a Dutch Bros before but I've heard a lot of hype about it so I decided to give it a try. This location I visited had an extremely confusing setup with 4 lines funneling into either side of the establishment for order pickup. There was an attendant on either side taking orders but when I asked if they had a menu the attendant said they didn't... not sure how a business doesn't have a menu to order from? I ordered an iced Matcha and tbh it was probably the worst one ever had. It tasted chalky and had a bad aftertaste to it. Maybe they have good coffee but won't be back for another matcha. read more

Great place for a quick stop for coffee. Every morning they have a long line but don't let this intimidate you, the line goes down really fast. You can get out of your car and walk up to order which is the quickest way, but if your car is nice and warm inside just give them a minute and the line will go down. The customer service is always energetic and always great on suggestions when you don't know what to order. I love the coffee here because it was has a good caffeinated kick, they come in huge portions and they have a great list of options to order from. I've only had two types of drinks at Dutch Bros., one is an iced quad Caramelizer which they all pronounce wrong, well, everyone in Oregon pronounces this word wrong. It's Carah-Mel-eye-zer, not Carmul-eye-zer. Heaving exasperated sigh. And the other is an ER 911. If you have already had any other form of caffeine do not order the ER 911. My bestie said I looked like a crackhead after I drank it which I thought was really mean because I hand scrubbed her tile floor and vacuumed her carpet and she doesn't even have a vacuum. Anyway, their coffee is very good, no bitter aftertaste like Starbucks (I still love SB), and best of all are the coffee artisans who really are fun to talk to. After leaving the mediocre McDonalds across the street, we needed something to settle our stomachs and headed straight for the Starbucks drive-thru. We pull into the driveway and around the corner to see a LONG line and head straight back out the driveway to give their next door neighbor a try. So glad we did. There were two cars ahead of us and it was taking a bit to get to the window so of course we expected it was from poor service. Little did we know that the two people working the window were just funny as hell and people were reluctant to leave the window even after getting their order. I've never laughed so much while getting coffee before. A healthy tip, a couple of candy canes and few cold beers from the cooler showed our early morning appreciation to these hard-working and funny kids. My girlfriend loves Dutch coffee. This location provides it. They don't screw up the order. All in all they do a good job, but the last four times we have come through for coffee they have screwed up the total and not in our favor. So we have had to overpay on four orders that could have bought two more beverages in the future. We didn't catch it til we got home and it was too late. If you go here check your total so you don't get overcharged, but definitely enjoy the coffee. It's fucking delicious. read more

I only go to 3 specific Dutch bro's and this is the reason why. It mind-boggles me that some people know how to make the drinks and others don't! Didn't they all get trained the same way???? I did it, I found the seediest Dutch Bros in existence. The dude that made my coffee: spacier than astronauts and eyes as baggy as JNCO jeans. There was a meth addict lately excitedly asking for him at the other window. I could've ignored these things had the coffee (a white chocolate mocha) not tasted like something out of a gas station automated cappuccino maker. I'm not even sure how they managed to make it taste that bad; as if it was sweetened by ethylene glycol (antifreeze). Oh my where do I even start? Well when I first moved to Salem they gave me a free coffee! Second of all the prices are very cheap! Usually I pay about $5 for a white mocha and here I only payed 3.50 or so! The second time I went there I talked to the guy while he made me my coffee ! I told him about my upcoming Torino to Hawaii, he was super nice! About a month or two later I came back, and he recognized me and asked how Hawaii was! And was like oh your hair got lighter and stuff and it made me feel special in a way! They are always super nice and enthusiastic there! Never ever have I had bad service there! wow..this place could teach Starbucks a thing or two about customer service. we were in town for the weekend. and are from seattle. so coffee rules us :) when we saw this place there was a huge line up to get in. which turned us away at first. we are used to Starbucks with maybe one or two ahead of us.. later that night we drove by here again and at 730 pm still there was a line up to get in.. wow... we had to try this.. so early up the next day as we were in town to clear out a storage unit of a friend. we drove up.. and already saw a line of 7 in front of us.. huge eyeroll :)... but then we had someone come to our window and take our order.and visit with us.. she really wanted to know what brought us.. we told her it was our first time at this company she insisted our drinks were free?? say what?? we were impressed. we tipped her $5.00 she walked and visited with us almost all the way up.. so friendly.. then we waited one more car and it was our turn.. we spent the time talking about how friendly she was.. and how special we felt.. that was only half of the experience.. when we got up to get our drinks.. they made us feel like family.. they all came and said hi to us.. and hoped we enjoyed our coffee. and really hoped we would come back.. we left there feeling so happy.. it was a amazing way to start our day.. the coffee was perfect. just how we both wanted it.. a short black.. and a skinny hazelnut latte. made to perfection .. we went back three times while there.. different employees. but same treatment.. will be hard pressed to find this service in seattle. hope dutch bros comes closer to home.. id love to have this start every day read more

I literally come to this DB location every day. Their customer service is always on point. As soon as lines start building up, they make sure to have someone out there taking orders from car windows to minimize wait times. They drinks are fantastic and inexspensive. If you are big on coffee, you may find some of their drinks are a bit on the sweet side, but they are always willing to accommodate! I once requested a vanilla bean mocha that they had never heard of before, and they made it right away with no complaints.(my boyfriend got one at Java once and confused it for Dutch) This is definitely my favorite location--due to the always friendly and personable staff and cleanliness! read more
