I'm a new customer. Horrible experience! The boss needs to work on safety and security for everyone. The lobby says it open at 8 am. Walked up at 9 am and it was still closed. Knocked waited for a bit then walked to the drive thru to ask them to see if they can open the door or order from the drive thru without a car. Luckily a lady in a white car let me cut to ask. When I walked inside, I saw two people working. Busy. I suggested to them they should get an only drive thru open sign. So when lobby closed, new customers don't get confused. They said they keep the door lock because of creeps. I totally understand that. That's why I suggested the sign or tell the boss to look into moving the front door to the other side. I had to walk all around to find the front door too. Basically waste of time. Close lobby if you can't keep it open. Hire men or get better security.... Keep it drive thru only.....Best one! If you have parking on a side that no one can see inside. Put cameras. So when someone pulls up. Open the door before they arrived at the door... read more

I patronize this location and the one in Roth's Vista Market quite a bit. Very good mochas, coequal with the Urban Grange or maybe a little better. The baristas are fairly reliably civil. Ordering from a microphone, with the menu right behind it, is very ergonomic, and one's drink is often ready by the time one drives to the window. This location has a small amount of indoor seating, and they can make sandwiches and the like, which admittedly I have not tried yet. I don't care for the prepackaged scones. Longer open hours than the Vista location. read more

This place continues to disappoint me, not only you have to stand outside because they haven't open the inside of this coffee shop, but then at the end of your visit they have the audacity to ask for a tip, they get your order wrong constantly, they don't have all the items on the menu, just a disappointment. We continue to give this place a chance but after today I'm sorry but you have lost my business. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

3stars because I've received great service from every one here but one person.. This one worker always has me repeat my order several times in the car line but then still asks me to repeat it again at the window and it always ends up being drastically wrong anyway. My coffee order isn't anything special or complicated so I don't understand why this keeps happening. Multiple people that I've talked to have had the same experience with this person and they now just buy their coffee elsewhere. I will be doing the same unfortunately. read more

Java Crew has friendly service and an atmosphere I can really get into. Great wooden furniture, cozy rooms and interesting things to look at while sipping your coffee. Their coffee is tasty once it cools down a bit, but don't mind waiting with that sort of atmosphere. Free wifi and wheelchair accessibility are a plus. read more

Been there several times, because it's just up the road from where I live. Every time my wife and I are treated like crap. But yet, all the white customers are welcomed with smiles, asked how their days are, etc. Almost every time they mess up our drink, we ask for coconut milk, and don't get it. My wife can't have dairy, that's why we ordered coconut milk. The older lady there was extremely rude today, I'm guessing she is the manager, I would never recommend this place. read more

The staff here are very friendly but not overly excited or fake, like I've experienced elsewhere. Service is fast, the atmosphere is calm and clean, and the music was quiet enough for a conversation. It's a good place to relax or study, with a variety of seating inside and outside. Of course, little of that matters if you're just driving through. Maybe most importantly, in my humble opinion, they make a great mocha. read more

Service was friendly and the breakfast sandwich was good, but the coffee (Americano) was just mediocre. We were surprised and disappointed that they don't let you add your own creamer (SO strange!), and what they used did not look or taste like half & half. Also, although we liked the decor, it was extremely dusty. You could literally write your name in the dust on the shelf with all the teapots. read more

Every now and then I like to treat myself on the way into work and whenever I've stopped here I have always had great coffee and service with a smile. The inside is super cute but it seems most folks use the drive through so plan a few minutes if that is your preference. I've also once had a really yummy panini, worth a try. read more

Mocha was delicious but i wish it was made hotter like I asked. I went here to study and glad I tried it. Nice table set up but the inside gets loud and not a huge fan of their music choice- top 40 isn't my type of coffee shop vibe. Wish they had a bigger food selection. Great stop for some coffee! My boyfriend and I were in Salem looking for places to rent, I was admittedly grumpy and lacking caffeine when we decided to pop into Java Crew. They had such kind and awesome service. The coffee was DELICIOUS, and my boyfriend was super stoked that they are the only coffee shop we've ever tried that offers protein as an option in coffee. Try the muffins! They are homemade and delicious. I'm back in my home state for a few months now, and I'm literally missing Java Crew everyday. What a rad place. read more

Their mochas are really good and the staff is always very friendly and enthusiastic. I am glad that I discovered this coffee house!
