Dr. Duval and his staff are great. I have been in my braces for almost a year and I'm already experiencing excellent results. I was very apprehensive about the process because I was 36 when I started treatment, but all my reservations were quelled at my first visit. Everything I needed to know was clearly explained and everyone on staff is excited along with me about my progress. Dr. Duval takes the time to explain what's happening with treatment and gives great tips on how to best care for my braces. Thanks to the progress that I have experienced, I have convinced some of my co-workers to take a chance on braces...and of course I recommended Dr. Duval. One thing people have to understand is you have to put in the work and follow instructions when you are in braces. It takes extra time and effort, but in the end, progress is always is a positive result. read more

Rhonda at Dr. Duvall's office fraudulently recorded payments by my ex-husband's insurance as payments made by him so that it would count towards his half of orthodontia payments- which is supposed to be half AFTER insurance pays. After I pointed this out she corrected the ledger. (Rhonda and my kids' stepmom became friends because my kids' stepbrother was receiving care there as well.) I actually paid and there ended up being an overage on one of my son's account. Rhonda sent a refund check for the money I paid to my kids' stepmom- who ended up making money on my son's braces!! After I pointed out that the refund was due to me as the parent who paid, I left the office. Minutes later, I received a call from Dr. Duvall's office. I missed it so I called back and it was Rhonda laughing and she said, "if you tell anybody I will deny saying this, but she came up here and she was so mad!!" She didn't realize she was telling this to me, and thought she was talking to my kids' stepmom ABOUT me. I immediately started recording the conversation and called her out for being so unprofessional and for sharing my children's health information with an unauthorized party. I let Dr. Duvall know and even sent him to copy of the fraudulent ledgers and the recording of the call. He indicated he was taking steps to move Rhonda out. He was very nice and offered to pay me the refund amount, which I declined on principle even though I needed it at the time. This crazy behavior by his staff member really shocked me because it was so ugly and petty, but I was assured he was taking care of it. I recently saw that despite her illegal and immoral behavior- Rhonda not only still worked there, she was promoted to office manager! I highly discourage choosing this office. Rhonda's behavior caused a myriad of issues for my coparenting relationship which ultimately impacted my kids negatively. There was absolutely no explanation for what she did. I took my daughter to Dr. Gordon and had a wonderful and professional experience. read more

This review is long overdue. Duval orthodontics always felt like a safe and friendly environment throughout my entire process of having my braces. The staff treated me with care and respect with every appointment. Patient throughout my entire step of switches forward and back to both locations in Warner Robins and Stonecrest. Both offices employed memorable staff and Dr. Duval himself always had an amazing aura who made visits worth while. Thank you for the memories and I pray these offices continue to shine. read more

My grandchild has been seeing Duval Orthodontics for over a year. He's only 9. His front office help has ALWAYS been unnecessarily rude. He was given a retainer for his front and bottom teeth which continued to break. Each time we were told he'd need another. He'd go in, do the mold and was told they'd let us know when it was in. EVERY time we had to call them and then get the rude staff to say they'd check on it. Never were we called when the device was in.. Don't know how they stay in business when they're so rude and hateful, and clearly out for the money only. No care for the patients at all. Won't be dealing with this office ever again. I have been going here for 2 years now and this year will make three, and I'm soo happy I get my braces off this year so Ill have to deal with them less.. there is a lady there who sounds like she has an accent and has blonde hair as of jan 24th 2022. She was soo rude, she constantly yanked on my wires and when she was done she jumped up and short serviced me.. I'm not sure if it was because she was moody or just plain didn't want to be there but at the end of every day she signed up for the position that she does. I plan on making a phone call today after work to let them know that she was very rude and I will NOT tolerate the disrespect from her, I don't care how much older she is from me, braces or not. I don't care. Other than that everyone else is fine and give great customer service. But one person will spoil the whole room for me. Not only that but Dr. Duval is BARLEY EVER there, out of my 2 years of going I've only seen him 3 times if that. I've been sitting with a removal palate expander in my mouth for the past half a year and it's so uncomfortable. Even stressing this to them they still keep it in my mouth and nothing is happening, it's useless. Many people will recommend Duval over spillers because Duval is cheaper, yeah no, plenty of days I sit wishing I would've went with spillers instead. The office manager is horrible, very rude and will lie and say it will be $500 for dental records. By law the state sets the amount a dentist can charge for records and it isn't $500.00. I have heard kids complaining about the office and when I wrote a review on their Facebook page the office manager asked to speak with me and laughed at me because I was dissatisfied with their horrible service. read more

Parents beware. If you choose dr Duvall, make sure you have x rays done ( we didnt) and after a whole yr, he discovered the teeth that were "supposed" to come down simply dont exist.. Her teeth have been pushed to the max, her jaw is completely crooked, she is now facing 1 to 2 more yrs of new treatment. Nobody will ever give you up update and you will be lucky if hes actually physically at the office ( how can he see patients when hes not there?) Interesting huh? Her brackets were applied incorrectly and the wrong damn wire was used. Makes you warm and fuzzy right? I mean what does he have to lose? Hes got all my money!- icing on the cake was when his Uncle, a fellow Orthodontist couldnt offer any insight and I was told everything was GREAT. I have been going here for the past 5 years. It was supposed to 2. They are SO rude here and it's hell. Half the time Dr. Duval isn't there. I am a college student away from home and it's about an hour and a half drive. They provide an alert text message updates when your appointment is coming up, but not once have i gotten an alert. I update my phone number every time I go in there so I wouldn't miss one. yet i have still missed over 5. The last time i went to my actual dentist, they were confused as to why they put filers on my teeth. why is my own dentist confused as to what practices my orthodontist is doing?? Makes my stomach turn. So now I will have wasted 5 years of pain all for my teeth to not come out straight. My insurance wouldn't cover my medical expenses because i've been there for so long and they have caused many problems with my mother. PARENTS AND FAMILY PLEASE BE AWARE. So I have made two appointments here and not only am I not impressed but I will be taking my needs elsewhere. The first appointment I had, they did not record the appointment, they only recorded that we spoke. What in the world? Next I make another appointment, took off work and then got there and was told that I HAD MY DAYS mixed up, which was certainly not the case, then the rude receptionist asked me if I was coming tomorrow. I work a full time job and will not request any more days off for this inefficient office. Not only did she not give me an apologize, but she gave me a smug look as if this was my fault. Rude, rude, rude. Don't waste your time or money. We have had an awful experience from the start. Duval is probably not even aware of the many unhappy patients. Receptionist gets appointments mixed up, you have to wait 1-2 months to get in for an adjustment, they obviously don't communicate with each other because my daughter had 3 sets of spacers that she didn't need because there was already enough space, hence the spacers falling out 3 times. In order to get my child's records they say I need to pay $500. How about no. They are not holding up their end of the contract. I will take my child somewhere else and I will not be paying a penalty to do so. Take your kid here if you want them in braces until they are senior citizens. Ridiculous!!! read more

Rude, Rude, Rude is right from the receptionst who takes payments and make appointments I've had my braces for over 3 yrs. and was told to cancel my contract I must pay $500...NO GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Had an appointment on the appointment card called to reschedule but was told I didnt have an appointment on that day as well as the office was closed. Dr. Duval himself is a wonderful and professional doctor but his front end employees are HORRIBLE!!! My daughter has braces and I am about ready to change her to someone else. read more

Do not go here. The office manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. You never have the same assistant working on you, they never seem to know what they're doing, and the wait time is NEVER less than 30 minutes AFTER scheduled appointment time. Dr. Duval only appears to be thorough but he has ZERO attention to detail. I needed to get the braces removed sooner than scheduled and notified them well in advance. Dr. Duval assured me that my treatment could be completed in the new time frame. In short, I got the braces removed and my teeth were worse off than before i started. I still had gaps (the only reason i got the braces) and after removing the braces, his fix was to tie strings and rubberbands around my teeth to close the gaps long enough to get a low quality retainer made. My gums were swollen and bleeding after this and he had used a drill to "manicure" the "final product" which resulted in actually damaging my front teeth. After the braces, my teeth were formed in a V-shape and one front tooth ended up being longer than the other. I am now paying $5800 to a great orthodontist who is trying to fix Dr. Duval's screw up through Invisalign because my front teeth are in no condition to have glue and brackets affixed again after Dr. Duvals drill job. In short, do not even waste your time going to a consultation here. Spend the extra $2,000 to go to a better qualified orthodontist in Warner Robins. I honestly don't know how Dr. Duval can legally still be in practice. I should have reported them to the BBB as soon as i ran into issues to help others avoid having their teeth damaged and time and money wasted. read more

I don't typically write reviews but I had to comment on the services from Dr. Duval and his staff. I read the previous reviews and I can honestly say, we have not had a similar experience. I have three sons that are currently under the care of Dr. Duval and his work with all three has been exceptional. Our general dentist has always commented that their braces are a product of "good orthodontic work" and the alignments are coming along well. My oldest son has completed his wear of traditional braces and his teeth look great. Dr. Duval is very thorough about their treatment plans and our sons are very comfortable with the staff. In speaking with other patients and parents, I've only heard good things and compliments about how good Dr. Duval's work and prices are in comparison to what some individuals have experienced. We are very happy with Dr. Duval and the entire practice and would recommend them to anyone in need of superb orthodontic care. read more
