The studio is a Black& woman owned business, and the owner was professional, welcoming, and very clear with her instructions throughout the session. The event I was attending was for the Carlin Dunne Foundation and he was a professional motorcycle racer who was tragically killed at the famous Pikes Peak race. It was held by Ducati Motorsports which was the kind of bike Mr. Dunne rode. In addition to the silent auction items related to the sport, Ducati had a dozen or so of their newest bikes. It was at this event that I learned that they would NOT be at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show which was going to run this weekend at the Javits Center. So that is some background on why I was there. Now my event was on the 14th Floor of this space and it offered wonderful views of our metropolis with part of the visual in this room facing New Jersey. Its a spacious setting for sure and has a few bar setups and plenty of room for I would imagine a couple of hundred people. Since the beverages, food and overall hospitality were either hired for the day or company staff from the foundation, I can simply state that everything worked well. I am guessing that if you lease the space for your affair that you'd need to hire on people and waitstaff. I would have liked an open WiFi signal since there were a number of visuals that I wanted to get online immediately to capture the moment without using my data plan and feel that maybe at the assumed high cost of utilizing the space should be offered to patrons. Now, I should also stress that walking to this space is a chore as its almost to the West Side Highway and the closest trains are four long avenues away. Depending on your age or the temperature, you might want to take a cab there from other parts of the city if not the whole way. I'd come here again and hope that some of my media adventures find me doing so.

Also I love that I was able to drive in and find reasonable parking nearby. I would certainly consider this space for future events as it is super spacious and presentable. I looked at numerous studios, and then a friend recommended Brooklyn Studios in Long Island City. I did a walk through that evening... and booked the studio for a few days. This served our purposes of having a stage and a studio all wrapped into one. Brooklyn Studios was reasonably priced. The staff was efficient and accommodating. It has an amazing rooftop with an incredible view of the 59th St Bridge and Manhattan, conference rooms, and lounge area. Very clean - my shoot involved a celebrity, so cleanliness was of utmost importance. I have worked at many studios around the country, mostly in NYC and LA - this was one of the best experiences I have had. Great location. Easy access. Professional staff. Spotless.

We rented some equipment from her and the gear was in great shape. They have a big freight elevator that goes right up to their studio which is very helpful if you have a lot of gear to load in. Sabina was very friendly and we look forward to using the space again!
