That star should be a -1zillion stars!!! My car winds up at the yard on Maryland because of a traffic ticket, for 20 days. Paid $614.16 to get it released, and they give my husband a car he doesn't recognize and he thinks I was less than forthcoming about the events on the day I got the ticket. What the hell happened to my car he asks???? I couldn't Belding my eyes!! It's impaled thru the front bumper!! Fork lift was everyone's guess. The worst part is that the damage to front end was never even mentioned to my husband, and they allowed him to drive away in a car that was unsafe and it put lives at stake! He stopped at a friend's house close by and they discovered that one front tire didn't turn at all! Drive it any further could cause that tire to have peeled right off in a turn!!! Now they're avoiding me as I try to deliver them to the estimate of $2200, if which ice paid 650 of out of my pocket!!! This company is shady as shady can be after a car accident phx pd called this crook of a company with a massive concussion I asked for them to call another company but was told I would have to cover it but I needed to get to the hospital after my gas peddle got stuck and my face was smashed into the airbag after my car came to a smashing stop into a tree from 65 mph. I was in phx to visit family but I have been screwed by this guy once before over a stolen car so I went 2 hours away to grab my title and signed it over first thing on Monday because my accident happened early Sunday. Well that was back in Dec of 2022 so imagine how surprised I was when Feb of 2025 I get an abandoned vehicle notice on a car I signed over to this scam company, mvd first said they lost the title then it came down to a lien issue supposedly had. Thing is under Arizona law once a title is signed over the other party has 15 days to title in their name. So what makes this company feel they are above the law and can hold a title for over 2 years then claim some bs. Well first and foremost if I did have a lien why wouldn't you say something when I signed it over? Also it takes this company 10 days to get an abandoned vehicle title ob a car but they tried to tell me it took 2 years oh wait could it be that the company they claimed had the lien they never contacted because I contacted them and asked if they were ever notified about my car since at one point before the accident I did have a lien but had it taken care of, to my surprise I was told no we never heard anything..... well if they held the title due to a lien why were they not notified being as they own part title of the car. Well I assume the smart ones who work and own this company think that people don't keep records but guess what surprise you found someone who keeps records for years beyond what is recommended. So the receipt i was given plus the mvd sold notice I filed the police report I have every single piece of proof and paperwork on this transaction. After trying to be nice and just have the $500 fee removed the owner wants to talk his crap and now this female he thinks is just some dumb woman who he called a liar is going to have fun in court and now the $500 isn't my main goal!!!!! Stopping this company from ever screwing people over and ripping off our hard earned money main goal is getting his business shut down and license taken. They're charging me $50 a day for expenses of being in their towyard which is incredibly high. Before I came to pick up my car and saw there was bad reviews. I was told Monday by PD that my car was here. I called Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, no car to be found. Finally Wednesday night Phoenix PD confirmed with me that they did have it. We came Thursday, they had the vin number mixed up the whole time. They were trying to charge me 6 days of storage. Theives with no morals. I've got the original bill of sale, photocopies of my title assigned to me (lost-assigned) and the keys and they still won't release. Took the documents to the DMV and they said it's sufficient to prove ownership, went back with info from DMV, no release. Went to the police and they said the same thing DMV did, now I'm going to have to bring the police to kindly let them know that I legally own my car tomorrow to get it back. Police said they've had a lot of complaints about this company and they're in the process of removing them from impound rotation and will be adding me to the complaintt report, so hopefully you don't end up in the same situation once they're out of business. read more

I was going through a lot the end of last year. My registration expired one day before someone hit me on my first day of work. My first car crash so i let them tow my car away because i wasn't sure i could drive it. That was the last time i saw my car. For weeks i came in everyday providing several proof of ownership but because my registration wasn't current, they wouldn't let me have my car. I went and made my registration current for 30 days but then you have to have the original title for that to be valid. I didn't have the title because i was financing the car. I provided the lien and proof of ownership. I still got denied. No matter what i did they wouldn't even let me get my belongings in my car. I'm only 21, i have no car now, work full time. It was really stressful to try to figure this out by myself. Every time i tried to contact the police station i could never get ahold of someone who could help. I could go on about how terrible of an experience this is but I'll end it with them filing an "abandoned vehicle" on my car even though i was trying every single day, proving I am the owner of my car. Sold my car brand new car for less than $600 in an auction, probably to someone they knew. They stole my car. This felt extremely illegal and unfortunately I'm only one person and i have a lot going on, i wasn't able to get my car back in time. They literally scammed me. I hope this place gets shut down and every single in that place gets their well deserved karma. I hope y'all feel bad for how much pain you're putting people through. read more

I called multiple times and got the runaround I'm not trying to get my car out to the Collision Center. They held my car for two weeks, the Collision Center was finally able to get through to somebody and have them bring over my car to the Collision Center. I was very close to filing a police report because they were basically holding my car hostage. I also just received from ADOT, I noticed that the tow company filed and abandonment report for my car. Son was in an accident . Tow company and where vehicle went was not disclosed . This is all part of the plan . Tow plus daily storage fees grow until you figure out where your car is . Hope is that fees get so high that you cant pay or it goes past the alloyed days to make the car to transfer to DV ownership. You. an ask them if a damaged car can be sold in the area . DV will shrug their shoulders and say no idea . However , there is a lot attached to there property that buys cars and another about a third of a mile away . places like this pray on people of little means . customer service is not even an afterthought. I hope the City of Phoenix reads this and understands that this is NOT a good look partnering with DV as an impound lot. Doing business with the Coty of Phoenix should require some type of standards. Bottom line, make sure you know where you car is being towed. get to that facility as soon as possible.Plenty of scrap yards willing to pay money for your car. My car had been stolen, and amazingly enough the police found it. It was not drivable, so they had it towed here. The police and my insurance company told me to go and see if any of my personal belongings were in the car. So I called to set up a time. First, they wouldn't even tell me if my car was there unless I knew the VIN number. No one knows the VIN number of their car. So I had to look it up and call back. Called back and gave them the VIN. Asked If I could come see the car and get my personal belongings. They said I had to have my driver license, which I do, and either the title or the registration. I explained that the bank has the title, as it is not paid for. And the registration was in the glove box, last I saw it 10 days ago when it was stolen. He said that the car is locked, and he would unlock it for $75 and get the registration out for me. It takes less than 3 seconds to unlock a car. If it takes him longer than 3 seconds, he has no idea what he is doing. He told me to either pay him the $75 or go wait in line at the DMV for a new registration. He laughed. To charge $75 is just taking advantage of someone who is obviously already down on their luck. What a horrible person. There's a special place in Hell for people like this. And he really seemed to take joy in the "power" he had to keep me from my car. Guess what, Meathead, you work at a tow yard. This is all the power you will ever have. I have NEVER in my life seen such a disgraceful way to run a business. 3 weeks ago, a good friend of mine suddenly passed away in his vehicle on a neighborhood road. This is the company the Phoenix Police use for their impounds so they were the ones we were unfortunate enough to have the vehicle moved by. My friend leaves behind his 15-year-old son and his parents, and when they went to get his personal belongings and retrieve the truck, they were told they could not even see the truck nor retrieve the personal effects. The staff was very rude and inconsiderate, even cursing at the 15-year-old boy. How can you do this to a 15-year-old boy that just lost his father and the only parent he has had his entire life? They went to the MVD to transfer the title to get the truck back and were told they could not as the towing yard had already filed for an abandoned title. Mind you this truck is NOT a nice truck by any means, this will not even go to auction, they will simply crush it with the other Junkers and along with the dreams of a 15-year-old boy to keep and fix up the truck of a father he lost. I talked to some friends that work for towing companies and was told they can't hold his personal belongings hostage like that, and they should release the truck. My Boyfriend then went down there with the boy and was told the same thing, they could have no access and would not even let the kid get his fathers wallet. My boyfriend called the police and was told by them they could not do anything as it is a civil matter. The family has decided it is just not worth the exurbanite impound fees they have now charged by not allowing them to retrieve the vehicle, that they will just let it go. This is bull and deeply saddens me! Such a joke of a company. They don't know the process of a registering a car in Arizona. I had to get MVD on the line so they can educate the worker who only knows how to read from a script. Because of Covid MVD is 60 days delayed getting updated tags, registrations and titles. I explained this and provided my receipt for the registration along with my old registration and loan docs just in case. The guy wouldn't even look at them. This place is a total scam. They literally just want to keep the car to sell it. When I finally got my car all the compartments were open including in the trunk. Like they were looking thru it to take stuff. Extremely rude. My dad was in a car accident and was in the ER. I asked if someone could lock up his phone as it was left in his car while he was whisked away in the ambulance. We didn't want his expensive phone to overheat or get stolen. They wouldn't confirm whether it was in there or locked up. We try to have a quiet street and I always know when the local DV Towing driver that lives in our area in Mesa has received a call because he speeds out of the neighborhood, which makes it just that much louder for us to have to listen to, plus not caring about the safety of children that are playing in the area.
