As I previously stated run from them. My son's car was damaged and they did it. The zip ties had nothing to do with the bumper. The zip ties are on the undercarriage. The fact that this company doesn't take accountability is disgraceful. The driver has no clue how to tow a lowered vehicle. He struggled for 30 minutes to even get it on the ramp and during that ripped the bumper off. Told my son that he did it and it was going to come out of his paycheck, he admitted it and then lied when he got back to their shop. This business is a mess and clearly doesn't know what they're doing. So don't risk having your car damaged end of story. What you should review is how unethical your business is, and the fact that your driver admitted to my son that he damaged his car and now he's lying. read more

We live in Illinois and our daughter was broken down and stranded in the middle of nowhere. Ridge was very polite and extremely helpful. He answered our call right away. As parents, we were so worried being so far away. Ridge was very sympathetic and they took great care of her. Hoping we can get her car fixed. If I understand correctly, all their town trucks are flat bed so although usually a bit more expensive, it is better for your car. I would recommend them if you find yourself in need while in the North Scottsdale or Anthem area. read more

Used my AAA for a tow. They sent out this company to tow my car home. I have a service dog and let them know I had a service dog with me. When Jay the driver came out, he told me that the dog needed to be locked in the car that was going on the flatbed. It's 80° out in Phoenix and it was over an hour drive. It's also a service dog. I told him no and insisted my service dog will ride in the cab with me. He finally relented. On the way home, he decided to stop by Circle K to go to the bathroom and buy a Red Bull leaving me and my service dog in the truck. I called the owner of the company, who stated we don't allow dogs in the cabs. I explained to him the difference between a dog and a service dog. He told me it doesn't matter we don't allow dogs in the cab and they ride in the closed cars all the time just fine. Instead of asking me the two questions allowed by the ADA, he proceeded to ask me if it's a "certified" service dog and asked me what more do you want from me, I already took your call over my drivers. I do not recommend this company, they are unprofessional, they do not know the law, and they are absolutely rude. read more

My husband and I had a blowout on our one ton Dodge Ram truck while hauling a 30 foot fifth wheel RV. The rear driver's side tire blew. We were stuck on the side of the I-17 interstate in a rural area near Black Canyon City and the Rock Springs Cafe. Tom from 101 Towing and Recovery did a fantastic job changing the tire without disattaching the fifth wheel. He had the right skill and equipment to jack up both the truck and the heavy fifth wheel and get the tire changed. My husband did not want to try to separate the truck from the fifth wheel. The truck was lopsided due to the flat tire and the hitch might not have completely released. He was also concerned about being able to hook up the fifth wheel once the tire was changed since the fifth wheel lifts might have been lopsided. Tom was fine with this decision. Tom did a great job. He was competent, calm, friendly , quick and professional. He explained what he was doing and inspired our confidence in him. Tom helped us merge back onto the 1-17 highway. He said he would follow us for a while to make sure everything was good. We saw him following for a while. We are thankful Tom from 101 Towing and Recovery was there to help us. I was told it'd take an hour and it ended up being closer to an hour and a half, which was fine and everyone would always want it to be faster. Today I called AAA for a tow from my home. Was told I could expect them within 50 minutes. They sent a confirmation of my order, then texted me every 5 minutes saying they couldn't find anyone for the job. Finally they said they were on the road toward me, even sent a tracking app and a way to message the driver. When I texted Anna that the tracking put her at my house, she responded that she had just gotten the order after completing a previous one. I would have to say Anna was amazing! Got me up and running in quick order and told me what to do immediately...get a new battery. On 05/09/24, my wife and I were stranded on the N/B I-17 at Happy Valley Rd. with 2 flat tires at approximately 9:30 P.M. After contacting AAA, Tracy from 101 Towing arrived within 15 minutes. We advised him of our issue and he said that he was aware of a 24-hour tire repair shop nearby and offered to take us there. After arriving at the shop, Tracy unloaded our car and then waited for us, just to make sure that all went well and that we were able to get back on the road. Many kudos to Tracy and 101 Towing! He was more than prompt, friendly, very professional, and careful with us and our car. I called Triple AAA and was assigned 101 towing for their services. I was in the process of moving and this quik tow essentially tried to steal my car just because I had not driven it in a while due to circumstances in life. I was lead too 101 towing and recovery an needed a miracle. I was in a pretty compromised situation of not having to much extra money to pay to get the car back. The reason why I'm leaving a review is because of Tim. He was chill as can be and assured me that even though I didn't have the cars keys at the time he came to pick the car up from the tow yard. He assured me that even though I was lacking he would be able to still assist. Long story made short he got the car and delivered it to my home with no expense to me due too the Triple AAA coverage my family has. Tim was a delight to deal with very promp, professional and charmingly courteous despite my blunders that had gotten me their in the first place. My car decided to just suddenly lose acceleration and slowly die in the middle of a busy road today. Thankfully, I have AAA. They told me they were super busy on a Friday afternoon and the wait could be up to 2 hours, but they were going to put it as a priority call, since I was in the street. Arthur is the best, I needed a tow on a very hot, 109 degree day. I was stranded in the driveway of the Emission testing place in Scottsdale at 3;30 in the afternoon. My insurance company secured 101 Towing to pick up the vehicle. I was called promptly in 10 minutes and was assured the driver was within 20 minutes of arriving. Arthur arrived, took a look at the engine, and was able to move the car so he could load it. All the while listening and putting my mind at ease that the problem was not bad. He told me the car was most likely driveable, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that as I live about 25 minutes away. Arthur loaded up my 2002 Blazer and drove us both back to Fountain Hills. All the while he was pleasant and upbeat with small talk and all in all helped make a bad situation bearable for me. I highly recommend this company and Arthur if you need roadside towing. I never right reviews on websites but just felt I had to on this one. They came very quickly to get my vehicle out of the road when it was in the middle of the road. My car needed to be towed and I called AAA and they assigned 101 Towing and Recovery. I have never had such a short wait to have my car towed and I am no youngster. My car was supposed to be towed to Queen Creek for my son to check out what was wrong since I had become irritated with the dealer. 101 Towing (Arturo), was there in 15 minutes max. They had constantly kept me apprised of his arrival. When he arrived after a discussion, he lifted the hood to check my battery. He disconnected the cables and it would not start. He said it was the alternator, and found that the Serpentine belt had busted. It was just serviced the prior week when they tightened the hydraulic/serpentine belt. He said that my car had to go to the dealer because of the ESP Warrantee. If it had gone to Queen Creek and my son had worked on my car the ESP would have been voided. So he towed it to the dealer. My car only has 28,000 miles and he advised me of things that I had no knowledge. He truly looked after my best interest. I wish all drivers could have a tow company just as concerned and caring as 101 Towing & Recovery and Arturo. I will recommend 101 Towing to everyone and even request it when calling AAA. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!!! Easter night my car died in the middle of the road, locked out of neutral. Most tow companies were actually closed. From the moment I spoke to the wonderful woman on the phone I was relieved and knew help was coming. John Archer was my angel, he tried everything he could to get my BMW 2013 328i into neutral but it wasn't going to happen. Then he performed a miracle lifting my car onto the truck using skates so that NO damage was done raising my car onto the tow truck bed. It was amazing. He was such a good guy, trying to help me out and was concerned about my well being. The next day, Rick contacted me. His first concern was also my health. Then talked about my car. My vehicle experienced a fan belt breakage while I and my wife were traveling on the 101. Bummer! Of course, the engine started to overheat immediately. After pulling off the highway, little did I know that my troubles were just beginning. Contacting my insurance company took quite a bit of time and effort. They recommended a towing company that promised to be there within 30 minutes. That sounded reasonable, however after waiting over 90 minutes I decided to try to contact a company on my own. That's when I reached 101 Towing. Nice people with nice promises about arrival time. Sure I thought, this won't happen. By this time we were tired, hot and irritated. To my surprise, they actually beat their ETA. They proved to be polite, efficient and effective. I cannot recommend this company more highly. They were just great with which to work. I hope I never again need a tow, however if I do I'll be calling 101. Just one additional note. This situation transpired more than a few months ago and I have been lax in not reporting it on Yelp sooner. My bad. My wife was with me and she reminded my to post a report.
