Casarah's expertise and dedication to her craft helped alleviate so much stress. Her presence and hard work was invaluable throughout the whole wedding planning process, which was quite a doozy, given our multiple pandemic postponements. A lot of people might think they don't need a wedding planner, or might wonder what it is that planners do before/during/after an event, and I can assure you that you absolutely want and need a wedding planner, specifically this one! Casarah stepped in when our previous planner suddenly quit (which happened before we had started actually planning stuff with her, luckily). When we hired her, we only had two months to go until the wedding day that would end up getting postponed due to Covid, a pivot that Casarah handled very graciously. She handled everything--from communications with our venue and vendors, to the timing and organizing of the ceremony details, to setting up all of the little decor items I had for the ceremony and reception areas, to managing the order of events during that reception, to cleaning up everything at the end of the night. I couldn't believe how much work she did! And it all made the big day a breeze. I loved Casarah's professional touches, like how she cut and saved us a piece of wedding cake to enjoy later, and how she delivered all of our decor items the next morning to our Airbnb. When I say she was invaluable, I mean INVALUABLE! Between our photographer and Casarah keeping everyone on track, I felt a ton of relief the day of, since everything felt secure and taken care of. That peace of mind was worth every penny and then some. Casarah is also the sweetest person to work with. From our Zoom meetings to in-person production meetings, she was an absolute delight and added a genuinely caring touch to the experience. It takes some trust to hand over the reins on your wedding day, but I didn't have a worry in the world with Casarah at the helm. She executed everything perfectly, including the layered guest table setup that I'd planned with several DIY elements. Her creativity ensures that your decor will turn out beautifully! Several I went to can be described as nothing short of tragic, and one downright shameful (plastic tablecloths and sticky floors). Another was so snooty and expensive that some of best gems were hidden in the back where the celebrities never even ventured to because the startups were on limited budget. Then there was the Celebrity Connected gifting event. Housed in a community center that from the front looked like a run down church with iron fences, I first thought, uh oh. When I finally found the entrance on the backside it was like a luxury hotel, with $200K+ cars pulling into the valet. The energy was palpable. The music was hoping, the place was packed. This was more like it. As I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and introduced to a young boy would would be bag carrier. He first led me through the press line, I did photos and interviews and then we entered the ballroom where all the sponsors were. The first thing I noticed was how big the booths were. At most gifting suites (even the mega high end ones), the vendors have to do with 3 feet or max 6 feet tables all jammed together. Here they were in 10x10 proper booths giving them the room to really showcase what they were all about. At every booth I stopped at I was greeted with energy, a quick pitch (do they coach these vendors? Because they were all ON IT and great) and a sample. The products represented were high quality, interesting, and highly tweetable. (and if you didn't know, social influencers deliver 16-19x the ROI vs a celebrity, probably because we understand how social works). The gifts ranged in value from inexpensive (but super useful and cool) towel clips (so your towel stays on your lounger at the pool), to high end scooters, technology gadgets, jewelry, makeup, skincare, and luxury sheets for the peri and menopausal (with a bed as a display that you know I couldn't resist snapping a pic laying on)... and it goes on. Oh, and Jason Elkin of #TrendingWines was there pouring #Selfie and #Bromance, so the vibe was full on party. There was an MC introducing and interviewing the celebs that were in attendance (and there were many when I was there). The most clever vendors had a goodie to give but also a goody to send later, thus creating an ongoing contact. Smart! Overall this was the most enjoyable gifting suite I attended. And from the vendors I have followed up with (to give them my address to send the extra goodies - see how they worked that!?) they were thrilled with the results. I for one, will be back to every event they invite me to. Great time!

The second we saw Charley we knew she'd be our wedding coordinator. She was charismatic, full of thoughtful ideas and she just knew how to evaporate our anxiety. Part of the anxiety which I'm sure many of you are aware of was due to our vendors resisting to respond to our calls/emails on time or contractual disagreements which in our case turned out to be with our venue. I'd love to think I handled it, but far from the truth...Charley stepped in to regulate those vendors in order and also aided with the contract negotiations. The point I'm proving here is that she's so much more than just a wedding day coordinator, she's so involved that it feels like a true friendship. In the beginning I had a thought "we don't need a coordinator" or "we just need a coordinator for the day of" well I'm happy we didn't make that mistake. I had quite a few brain farts during the wedding, didn't know where to stand or didn't know when to walk or didn't know I wasn't breathing, well as you may guess by now Charley was right there whenever I needed the direction. I also would like to mention her assistant Jamie who was a tremendous help as well, the both of them truly quarterbacked our wedding seamlessly.
