I regret completing my purchase here and truly wish I had gone to a different dealership for the same vehicle. I found another nearby location that has been much more helpful and professional, even though I didn't buy the car from them. I use to believe that "buying a car" and having an "amazing experience" were statements that would never go together! Over the years I have visited many dealerships but my interaction with DeLong was truly amazing. I had contacted the dealership about a 2008 Jeep Wrangler they had advertised ion the internet. They promptly returned my e-mail as well as gave me a call as I had requested. They were knowledgeable about the vehicle and when I asked very pointed questions (Jeep hinges are known to bubble and rust) they walked out to the vehicle to check. The indicated that all of their used vehicles come with a new set of tires. I was skeptical of this until they told me I could pick the brand and style. Ironically the recommendation they made was a better quality, and higher price tire, than what I had selected. We negotiated a price for the truck over the phone and struck a deal. I was traveling and was not able to get down to Dwight for a week, They never asked for a deposit or pressured me to come in sooner. I also called back to inquire about a trade that I did not initially brought up. I had a 2010 Kia which they were not familiar with, but they investigated an quickly got back to me with a very fair offer (note: two other dealers had offered me considerably less). When I arrived they handed me the keys and allowed me to take the vehicle for a test drive alone, which is truly unusual! The vehicle was exactly as represented but I noticed that the back seat cover had a hole. Without prodding they contacted a local jeep dealer to investigate the cost of a new cover and pad. They agreed to cover the cost as well as install it for me. We noticed that the design of the center section of the back seat was flawed and that was the reason it appeared depressed. They offered to fabricate a bracket to better support the seat which was done before I left that day. I had been looking for a used Jeep for several months. The deal I got was unparalleled. The new tires were a great add ($800 value). The new back seat cushion and cover ($350 value) made the truck perfect. And the fact that they custom manufactured a bracket in their machine shop - priceless! I was truly amazed by my experience and would not hesitate to do business with them again. Doesn't even deserve apart of a star. My grandson bought a heavy duty ford diesel pickup. A few days later one of the front wheels fell off while driving, the other front wheel is leaning inward. The truck leaked fluids from every where underneath. We took the truck to Coffmans in Montgomery and they said so much was wrong that they wouldn't touch it. We took it to Universal Diesel Works in Montgomery and he said in was in such bad shape that it would cost over $10,000.00 to fix the truck. The front needed over $3,500.00 to make the truck safe to drive and that the ejectors were leaking fuel in to the oil and it would cost over $6500.00 to fix that. After we took the truck to Coffman's we contacted the dealer and they wouldn't do anything. The owner is so low that he wouldn't take a call or return a call. They saw my grandson coming and took full advantage of him. We have filed a complaint with the Secretary of State and now giving the truck back to the finance company. I highly recommend not trusting or doing business with a dealer like this. read more

I bought my very first truck through Woody today and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find financing because it was my first loan and lacking credit. Woody first found one at 14% but he knew that was too high and searched for over a hour, making phone calls to get me the best rate at 6.2%. Other finance guys would have quit and gave me a loan at 14% but Woody went above and beyond his finance duty to make sure I was taken care of. There was a minor leak from the passenger pillar, they identified it was from the Sirius radio antenna and fixed it on the spot and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I was on the highway in the evening and my car went into "limp mode". I was able to limp it to Delong Ford. They quickly and efficiently diagnose the issue and repaired it ASAP. The customer service and timely response was extremely professional and helpful. They were very sympathetic to my situation as I was from out of town saying in a hotel. They quickly repaired my truck, I was towing a boat and upon delivery they even hooked my boat back up to my truck after storing it for free for almost a week.
