Dealt with Dwight personally, the owner. Completely lied to me promising if I have him replace two windshields of two of my vehicles then he'll give me $100 for one car and $75 for the other. He admitted he's not supposed to do this since "I'm part of the USAA network and they don't allow it, but I'll give you $175". Of course...after the work is done...the techs that came out to my house didn't have the money..."oh Dwight likes to write the checks himself for when he does the 'rebates' so he never gives us the money"...techs call Dwight in front of me, one of them does anyway, and says "ok Dwight already knows about the money, he's writing the check right now so you can pick it up right now if you want if you drive to the shop". I drive down there about two hours later, it's a half hour drive, and yep....Dwight admits "I know our agreement is for $175 but let me see if I'm even making any money on this from what USAA pays me". Dwight then gives me a bunch of nonsense about "expenses" and admits after paying me $175 he'd only be making $164 so no, he's not going to pay me the promised amount and said "best I can do is $50". I told him it's his job to ensure before the job is accepted that he's making enough profit and that the situation is simple, I was promised $175 if I use his services and that's what I'm here to pick up after at least four confirmations that I would be paid the $175...I explain I'll simply have to contact USAA and complain so Dwight throws me out of his shop with an F-bomb getting angry telling me "if you're going to do that then I'm not paying you nothing!!!" adding "you're just greedy!!!!"...telling me "so you think me making only $164 is enough????". Absolute jerk and dishonest jackass of an individual. I'm contacting USAA immediately tomorrow, and will be filing a small claims court case against Dwight for both the money and for the principle of lying and trying to bully and guilt trip a very very easygoing guy that operates in good faith and is completely honest. Alex and Jose were nice enough guys, but looking back I can see this was all a scam of "just promise whatever to get the insurance job and Dwight will handle the promised payouts since at that time the customer has no recourse and insurance will just pay out" kinda deal. I'll update as this progresses, and have everything on audio proving every single claim above, and showed Dwight the recording where he got scared and angry since he already had admitted "I know our agreement is for the 175 but....". They do a pretty good job on tinting for a fair price. This is the third vehicle I have brought here. On this visit I had them remove the glass from my project vehicle and darken the tint a little on Julietta, my truck. I didn't go super dark but I think this will be ok at night. read more

So we just had our windshield replaced on our Toyota 4Runner. The installer was late, and in a big hurry, so his work was not of very good quality. The seams on each corner of the top of the windshield each have a 1/4 inch gap. We will leak water at the first rainstorm. Additionally, the installer spilled black urethane on our natural sheepskin seat covers, and was happy to leave it that way. When I expressed my concern over the poor quality of work, he stated that it's under warranty so that if it leaks, they will replace it. He was unwilling to correct the problem before he left. I phoned the store and I was told that if I wanted to speak to the manager, I would have to come in person. They refused to put her on the phone. I would not recommend this business, nor would I ever use them again. Poor quality work, and extremely poor customer service. read more

Not even sure where to start? I ask the shop on Friday if they can fix my stereo because I can't control the fade or balance. The shop says yes, $60 and we can fix it. So I pay leave the truck there and 20m maybe goes by and there done??? I go and pick it up and leave but try to check the stereo, nothing was done. Only thing they did was erase my custom settings and that's it. I go back to let them know but now there backed up. They have me speak to the stereo specialist and he doesn't really understand what's wrong I think . He tells me come back in morning and I will do it again and remove stereo this time to look at the wires maybe. Next day Saturday, I leave truck at 0840 and nothing all day. I wait and wait. No calls so I call around 4pm and no answer. I keep calling but nothing. I look up shop on website and they close at 3pm. WTF!! I send them a email and try to find a # to call. I finally find the owners # and he tells me the front desk was suppose to call you cause I was out. He goes after hours to give me my truck around 730-8pm. Tells me to check out the work and again nothing I tell him. He looks annoyed and tells me to bring it back Tuesday and he will have them fix it all. I take it Tuesday and no calls so I call them, they can't figure it out. You can come get it if you like. I tell them so what did you guys do?? Trucks done, we plugged in a rear speaker wire that was loose. I hang up, waiting to get a ride to pick up. I get a call, your truck needs to maybe be rewired and that will be additional cost of $100 on top of what I paid already. I say no, and ask to get a refund since no work was done. They say no, you have to speak to Dwight, I ask them to have him call me. I get no call, I call him and he doesn't pick up. I go Wednesday and pick up truck, front desk looks like there just on computers online??? I just ask for my keys and leave. No point in talking to them, they can have my $ if they really need it i guess for work that was promised. This place used to treat me very well over the past 14yrs + I been going there. This is the 1st time I was treated like crap and was robbed pretty much and told work was done. I would not recommend this place and I will no longer recommend this to anyone who ask me. Friends, co-workers and other businesses that ask me. I do send them a lot of work from personal and from my job. I did call another shop, quick free answer I got from them. You need to bypass it and it's under a $100 but they don't recommend it. WOW, a quick answer and for free. SoundFX & Valencia audio said the same thing , for free. Took our truck to Dwight's to have window tint put on the windshield not ten minutes after leaving the driver side strip peeled off the corner next to the rear view mirror. My wife called asking for a refund, Dwight's said no refund but they will fix it. Once I arrived and told them a gentleman walked out and said show me I showed him and he said there was nothing wrong with the strip still and said I shouldn't be criticizing the work if I don't know anything about tint and then another came out another employee and said there was nothing wrong with it as well. I was going spend a lot of money to have the whole truck done but now they lost my business I'll take it elsewhere and pay extra for the quality of service. And being a military veteran and a law enforcement officer being treated the way I was I can only assume they do this to everyone. read more

The nice thing about this place is they were able to work on my car Friday morning without an appointment, but it took at total of 3 hours and 45 minutes and when I got there at 9:30 am the receptionist said the technician isn't at the shop yet so he will work on it when he gets there which was in about 30 minutes... the place said it's open at 8 am so why is your technician coming in at 10... made no sense and took so long and I asked her before they took my car in about how long would it take and she told me 1 hour and a half... very unfortunate! read more

I walked in for an estimate and the person at the front desk, Alex, was very helpful with showing me the prices and services they offer! I schedule an appointment that day for a day later in the week. The workers took good care of my car and they were very friendly! The final product (the tint) looked flawless! My car looks so good with the tint and the tint itself is very nice. I did wait a bit longer than our estimated time, but I know you can't rush good quality! Travelling through area when we got a huge chip on our motorhome windshield. Worried it would spread then crack, we searched online and chose Dwight's. The receptionist said a tech would come to us within an hour and Francisco showed up in less than that. Professional and polite, we chatted with him about travels and places to see. He quickly fixed the chip, wrote up the invoice with the quoted price, called the office with credit card info and we were quickly on our way. Chip is well sealed -- no issues at all! read more

I write this review out of complete frustration with the INA store. Definitely cost was the best in town however major miscommunication internally with the company. We received a quote that skewed by hundreds of dollars within weeks, when we asked why we were told the person that quoted us the original price was new and doesn't know the system, so ok chalk it up to inexperienced staff. We needed to have our 2 vehicles windshield replaced and tint the windows on one of them. We pre purchased our tint online just needed the labor to install. Even with the quote change we still wanted to get it done. The first car was done and tint installed, picked it up drove it home not noticing that the back passenger window tint was a different tint COMPLETELY.I called the store and asked why but it was near closing time so she was going to call me back after she asked the installer what happened. So I call the store to find out what happened and apparently the tint I brought for that specific window was cut into 2 pieces and the installer did not want to install it like that BUT decided to install a COMPLETELY different tint instead which was even worse because if they had communicated with me I would have approved the cost to install a similar piece. So I had to organize how to get my both vehicles now down to the store one for the corrections and one for installing the windshield " very inconvenient" while juggling work and finding a ride as no other solutions to help me where given. I am always cordial so I empathize for the receptionist, and understood where her position was. I was very frustrated at this point with the whole thing, and also to tack on more anxiety to the issue the store did not have a credit card machine to run transactions! Ugggh so I do not agree leaving my credit card information on a sticky note for them to run later, but giving me no other option that was the only way to get my vehicle, I offered to come back the next day that didn't happen so the whole night I was worried about my credit card information sitting on that receptionist desk. Went today with my dad they broke the antenna mount off and said screw you not our problem. Did not put the mirror mount in the right place, the overhead console blocks the vision. The adhesive for the windshield is on the interior trim. Not to mention the fact we were told 1 to 1.5 hrs took 2+ hrs to complete the job. If you want poor quality of work and customer service this is the place for you. read more

Called Wednesday for a windshield replacement and was able to come in Thursday which was great! They said it would take and hour and a half to be ready. Unfortunately I didn't plan a ride for while my car was being worked on but they had netflix, coffee, water bottles and nice couches so that was cool. My windshield was finished in an hour and a half as promiced. Everything looked good until i left and saw the trim on the bottom of the windshield. . . it was a mess. I came back and Dwight him self came and looked at it. He explained that they don't replace that part and it was just old which is why it was crumbling from sun damage. I had never had my windshield replaced so this never came up. But Dwight offered to fix it by trimming it and resealing it, at no cost. It did take a while from when I got back here to get the car in the shop but Dwights customer service made the time I wanted not so bad. I paid just a few dollars more than quoted but everything looked good in the end. My complaints: It would have been nice to not have to come back and wait another half hour to have the trim fixed, or at least been told ahead of time about the condition the trim was in. BUT again Dwight offered to fix it for no cost even though it was just cosmetic and I REALLY appreciate it. Other than that the place was clean and easy to find. I have done business with these guys for years now and sorry to say I won't be calling them anymore. I had a personal job done by them and the car sat in the garage most of the time until my daughter started to drive. She call me a stated the mirror fell off and was hanging by the wires. I got home to re glue the mirror on and found the glass had taken a big chunk out of it when the mirror fell. I contacted them and didn't get good response from them. Had to call sever time for an answer. They declined the claim and stated it was due to someone hitting the mirror. I know my kid and she wouldn't have done that. So I called several other companies and sent them the picture I had. All of them stated that this dose happen in the heat The heat and weight from the mirror took a big chunk out of the glass. When I talked to Dwight's glass I got the run around. No problem. Sorry to say that if there going to treat me like this they also lost the customers I've been sending there way. Currently having my windshield replaced by SafeLite. "We get a lot of calls from people who went to Dwight's." Dwight's replaced my windshield and everything seemed fine... Two weeks later, I found a puddle on the driver's floor because the windshield wasn't sealed properly and it had rained overnight. Took it back to Dwight's for a repair which they did. Last night, more rain and another puddle on my floor. Called SafeLite to come repair it. Not only was the second "fix" not a fix, they also glued on the panels on the side of my windshield incorrectly. Add another $140 to the repair. I will never go to Dwight's again and will be sure to advise everyone I know to avoid them as well. read more

My back windshield was replaced by Dwight's. They gave me an arrival time of 9-10am and then changed it to 12:30!WITHOUT notifying me. They then put in tinted glass instead of privacy glass. When they removed the glass, they got glass pieces in the struts that raises and lowers the tailgate. Now it won't open and close. Dwight says they were leaking before (this is a 2017 SUV that even their technician said was working properly) and will not replace them. So now I have to pay almost $400 to have these struts replaced because of their sloppy work! DO NOT USE DWIGHT'S. read more

Stay away from this place!! Customer service from the owner is horrible. I brought in my 2013 vehicle to have the windows tinted. The tint job itself was decent. However, the employee installing the tint stretched out the cable on my backseat. He put it into the stow position and climbed on top of the seat to tint the rear window. So my backseat was stuck and wouldn't return back to the upright position. The employee dropped off the keys at the front desk (I was in the waiting area) and he said " "Something is wrong with the backseat. I can't get it to come up and i don't want to break anything." He already knew that he broke it. I asked the receptionist what was wrong and she told me what had happened. Long story short, she told me that they would compensate me for the damage she just needed to speak with her boss. So I took it to an upholstery specialist and they repaired the seat for $232.00. I then went back to Dwight's and the front office employees were very nice, but then I spoke to Dwight. He essentially called me a liar by saying that the seat had already had problems before taking it to him (How many times has he used that excuse before??) and his employee did nothing wrong. Mind you, I've never dropped the backseat since I purchased the vehicle brand new off the lot in 2013. He also said he never heard of the complaint before, even though the employee doing the install knew about it, as well as the receptionist. So he said he wasn't going to pay for any damage that was caused to my vehicle. So his customer service is horrible and the customer is never right in his eyes. I'm a former Marine and have no reason to lie to this man and create a problem when there isn't one. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place, EVER!! Go to anyone else in Tucson to have your windows tinted. Save yourself the headache and go to a business who is known for great customer service. NOT DWIGHT'S!!! read more

Several Months ago my husband and I traveled to Tucson from Las Vegas and on the very first day of our vacation, a rock flew into our windshield causing damage. We called Dwight's Auto Glass & Tint that very day and were able to get an appointment the very next day. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Dwight himself. He took the time to review the damage and was able to replace the entire windshield that day. He additionally completed the window tint and was able to seamlessly file the necessary paper with my insurance for the claim. Our vehicle is a new model with all the electronic sensors for lane assist and braking attached to the windshield. When everything was said and done, the work was expertly completed that same day. Dwight and his crew were absolutely wonderful. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They did quality work, quickly and efficiently and we would definitely recommend them. Thanks to Dwight and his crew we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay without the stress of dealing with vehicle issues. Dwight is the best!!! read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I regret not looking at reviews first. I originally went in just to get my windows tinted... which ended up taking 2.5 hours... Afterwards, I went outside to check out the tint job expecting good results, (seeing as they claimed it'd only take a hour and a half max). INSTEAD, IT WAS HORRIBLE! They left trash, tools, tint shreds and cuts, tape, adhesive, and EVEN A CHIP BAG in my car!! This was ridiculous! There were slits/cuts in the tint as well as a few huge bubbles. I went in and got the manager to look over their work. She told me "it'd be fixed." After a couple minutes of work, they put my car back into the parking lot. I went to inspect the car and noticed their "fix" for the cuts in the tint happened to simply be black tape! I had oil all over my seats, as well as the outside of the car... I took pictures and showed them to the manager once again. "We don't do that here, we will fix it" she explained once more. After another two hours, the car was fixed. I was not amazed with the final result, but it's acceptable; and it ONLY took 5 hours and 150$!! :) I highly recommend against this location, the only reason I went there is because I've been to the other locations without any flaws. Dwight is a very personable man and very awesome to work with! His workers don't reflect him very well. I had to go back 4 times for the tinter to get it right. The first time was for the tinting being poorly sized in the back so I went back later that day to correct it and it looked sloppy. I went back a few days later where it looked better, but not something I'd brag about. The worker assured me that any bubbles would dry up a few days later. I went back 2 weeks later after because my driver and passenger Windows were full of small bubbles. I called to confirm that I could take it back to be fixed. When I arrived, two workers were hanging by the front desk and when the receptionist asked one of them to take a look at my car, he gave an attitude about how he didn't want to do it and how she should have clocked out when he had the chance. He eventually went to the garage to work on my car but not before expressing how he didn't want to do it. As I'm waiting for the hour, the receptionists were kept busy however when they had free moments, they would bad talk clients after their phone calls. It made me uncomfortable to ask for anything, or to ask if Dwight was available since he had been inspecting my car the last two times I took my car back to be fixed. Well, I have used them for auto glass replacement 3 times plus my mom's car too. (way too many rocks in AZ) They have always been fast, curtious and done a good job. They did everything mobile and came to home and work. So no complaints here (for glass replacement that is). I wouldn't have come here except when I googled for their phone number I stumbled on this. A shame we only spend time to review generally when there is a complaint. read more

Took my car to have a small chip repaired on my front windshield...done in less than 5 minutes. After payment, I went out to look and it doesn't look any better. Talked to the front desk and person that worked on it...sorry that's the way it will look (like nothing has been done). I have numerous chips done at the Walmart's parking lot and the free-lancers have done an excellent job and hardly shows the chip. Don't waste your time and money! read more

The worst auto glass service I have experienced! Had a chip "repaired". It is now worse than when I brought it to Dwight's. I've had many stone chip repairs on many vehicles - this is without question the worst! They didn't even clean the burn marks off the inside of the windshield. I was very disappointed with the service here. Here's what happened: I went to get my windows tinted on a Saturday and the whole process took 4 hours. I went out to look at my car when it was done and noticed that there were a TON of bubbles on my windows but was told to leave the car in the sun for 2 days and to not roll down my windows. Done and done. There were still huge bubbles in the tint so I took it back the following weekend after scheduling an appointment with them at 9am. Here's where it gets fun. They said they were going to have to redo all my windows and so I brought my car in at 9am and proceeded to watch other customers come and get their windows tinted and leave before I did! I have a very common car (Toyota Corolla). All they had in their DVD collection was Twister so I watched it TWICE before they finally finished. It took about 4 hours (which was the same amount of time it took them the first time I had them tint my windows WITHOUT an appointment!) Why schedule an appointment if they are not going to begin working on my car until 3 hours after I show up? It only took them about an hour of actual work but half my day was shot right there. I went out to look at the job they did and this time they put the tint over my backlight (the brake light at the bottom of your back window that some cars have) instead of cutting around it like they are supposed to do. I was so frustrated I didn't want to spend another 4 hours for them to fix it that I just left. I still have bubbles on my tint even after they redid it a 2nd time but I am going to have to take it somewhere else because I know they are going to mess it up like they did the first two times. I ended up paying $130 for a bad tint job that wasted a total of 8 hours of my time. My advice to you is to stay far far away from this place. read more

I recently took my 2 vehicles to get tinted and can honestly say enjoyed the customer service from the front desk and quality of work, my wife is really happy how our cars turned out ( happy wife-- happy life ). Last month I also had a windshield installed by Dwight's on my wife's car, they had to cancel the first time we scheduled due to mishap on scheduling but came out to our house the next day as promised and installed our windshield.
