Neither was overly sweet - it was just right. The texture of the cream was perfect too - it was airy, light, tasted fresh and not artificial, and was not too sweet. The bread part at the bottom was firm - not too hard, not too soft, and not spongy. The chocolate one had a raspberry/chocolate topping with gold flakes and it was just perfect. The hazelnut one was really unique, as I had never had a hazelnut eclair before but I love hazelnut anything. There were little pieces of actual hazelnut, the hazelnut cream was perfect and not artificial-tasting, and there was this powdered sugar crunchy thing on top. The hazelnut was a bit messy to eat/share, since the topping part was harder to break apart, but every bite was amazing. I'd definitely come back here again to eat eclairs. Note that if you want to eat here, they don't really have spoons suitable for eating/sharing - it's more like a small spoon to stir coffee. There's one table outside where you can sit and eat, but there's no seating inside, so don't expect a place where you can hang out and drink tea/coffee and eat your eclair. The eclairs here are fantastic, we came at the end of the day so they didn't have many flavours left, but they typically also have vanilla, salted caramel, and I'm sure a few others that escape my memory (I asked one of the staff what other flavours they typically have). I've overused the word "perfect" in this review, so just go here and eat some eclairs and maybe some chocolates too. I had a praline little egg and it was fantastic, but the eclairs were like nothing I'd ever have. Minus one star for the price, but I guess it's relatively cheap next to all the other expensive stores in Marylebone. Worth the splurge every once in a while and I'll definitely be back.
