The crepe was good! The ice cream was very good and the hot cookie ice cream treat was amazing! Highly recommend it!

Last but not least, this was our final stop of the night. The ice cream shop was absolutely packed,…read morewhich was a great sign. They offered more than 20 freshly made flavors, making it difficult to choose. I ordered the Hazelnut and Chocoviar 75%, while my friend chose the Lemon and Hazelnut. Both were delicious, rich, smooth, and flavorful without being overly sweet. The only downside was the portion size, which felt a bit small for the price. What made the experience even better was enjoying our gelato afterward at Covent Garden. We found a spot to sit outside and watched a hilarious street performer from Canada entertain a huge crowd. He even noticed me taking a photo and playfully posed for the camera, which made the moment even more memorable. We absolutely loved the atmosphere around Covent Garden. There are so many great restaurants and shops, and the lively outdoor setting, combined with talented street performers, made it the perfect way to end our evening. :)

It's always a hassle because small children play with the ropes and people tend to crowd due to it's logistical design - instead of getting your cone and paying, you pay first and get your cone second. The service itself wasn't super friendly and was a bit rushed, but I liked that this location had several different flavors we don't normally see. That being said we went with our usual - pistachio, and it was as fantastic as all of the other Venchi's we've been to. All in all, Venchi is definitely worth a stop into, especially if you're a fan of pistachio gelato.

After seeing this place all over social media, I had to try it. I was expecting a queue but was…read morelucky that when I arrived there were only a couple of people in there. Firstly there are different options for a base- a cookie, brownie, doughnut or baklava. Then you choose your ice cream and toppings. I decided to go for the brownie topped with lotus biscuits and flake, and chocolate ice cream. It was really tasty and enjoyable. The portion isn't massive but is a decent enough size. I didn't think it was necessarily worth £7.30 though, which after adding the toppings is the price mine came to. So I do not think it is value for money, but maybe more attractive as a place to grab something and post it all over Instagram! They have got it right, with pink walls, cool seating and novelty mirrors on the walls. I did enjoy the brownie but now I wish I had tried the baklava as it would have been good to try something different that you can't necessarily get everywhere with these toppings. So now I kind of want to return just to try that! Whereas otherwise I probably wouldn't feel a need to return now that I've tried it. I wouldn't say the place was set up for an influx of customers either, considering how much it has been posted/advertised everywhere on social media. There was just one member of staff there when I went (Sunday afternoon) and so she took the orders and payment and then went and prepared the ice cream, so had there been a queue there might have been quite a wait. Like I said, I might go back to try the baklava if in the area, but this is likely somewhere that people visit for a media post and then don't return. The price point is too high in my opinion for regular customers.
