My absolute favorite shop, I'm currently over 100 hours into multiple pieces with Brandon. There is no one else I trust with my body and completing the vision have for my art.

Ado did me and my friends tattoo here and it was great! He was very accommodating to me being indecisive and helping me figure out what size I wanted to make my tattoo because I wanted something small and dainty, and it was also my first tattoo so I was nervous. He also accommodated to my friend who traveled here from Germany and gave us both a a great experience and she loved her tattoo as well! I would highly recommend Ado as he pays attention to detail and has great work to show for.

Ado did an amazing job. I love this piece so much and I will definitely come back to get more work done again.

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced, she had a great experience, she was talked to directly she was asked what side she wanted her piercing (most just assume) she was shown how it would look on both sides, she was told what to expect and told what was going to be done prior which relieved her anxieties. I definitely recommend coming here, especially if you are bringing your teen, the place is clean, the artists are respectful and polite, ot is definitely a five Star tattoo and piercing shop!

Tattoo Horror Story Today, Friday the 13th was a special day for my friends and I. We got to Dying Breed Tattoo shop at 10:30AM, waited in line till about 11:45AM where we were all assisted in doing paper work for getting our flash tattoos. Original wait was 4-5 hours, we were told we'd receive a text/call at the time it was our turn, cool. We leave.. 7 hours comes along, then goes to 8 hours, we call and ask how much longer since it was past the original time we were told. We were told 15 people were on the wait time but that we could come in to discuss ideas and concepts for our flash tattoos. It was a miscommunication, we get there 10 minutes after calling and in confusion we thought they were ready to help us as it had already been 8 hours.. We are then told it'll be 2 more hours. For sure. That's fine, we understand that tattoos take time. We wait three hours then go to the shop. It's now 10pm. We call and ask about an estimate on how much longer, we're told it's going to be another two hours. At 12:40AM we were finally called to be able to go inside, we show them our ideas and for an oni mask I'm told to up the size by $113, I can't afford it so I settle on a cute little Boo tattoo. Aiden was really helpful and sweet as I sat with my friend Ryan during his tattoo, his line work was flawless and something I immediately pointed out. He was very sweet and interacted with us during the tattoo and made me feel comfortable. It was my turn to get tattooed by a man in a red hat with AirPods in.. I walk over and he's in a conversation with another artists, I say hello but he seemingly ignores me and continues on with his conversation before telling me to sit down. He doesn't say a word to me, aside from "hello" "how's your day going" and that's about it. He doesn't seem at all interested in his work, I understood he was probably tired and just sat quietly while he did his thing. Immediately first line.. I notice he seems to sketch the lines in with a thin needle instead of following through with a thicker needle for a thicker, cleaner line. He explained this as just.. "opening up the skin." I didn't understand that as I've never had an artist do that before but I trusted him. He starts messing up, badly, the lines looking shaky, scratchy and with absolutely no effort. Aiden comes to my rescue, seeing how quickly anxious and nervous I was getting. He tries to fix this other artists mistakes, being very easy and reassuring about the process but it also turns out he was SHOWING this artist what to do. I really wish they would have disclosed I was being tattooed by someone newer to the industry because I would have flat out said NO. Aiden does his best, but the scratchy lines, messed up eyes which I should also mention, the first tattoo artist put his eye shines on the bottom instead of at the top of his eyes.. even though he had a reference right infront of him. He didn't really look at that much either. At the end I'm left with a scratchy, shaky tattoo with huge unfinished gaps in the shading. He pulls away and says "Okay it's done" with obvious parts he missed but he just doesn't seem to care. I'm obviously shaken up, he asks for criticism and I tell him as nicely as I could that I didn't like it, that it was shaky, that it was overall unfinished and that I didn't feel comfortable with continuing. Immediately the owner; being Brandon Allton comes over, asking what was wrong and I explain to him the same thing, again, very politely. He very rudely says "Well it's a $31 tattoo you're getting at 3AM and we've been here since 9AM." I understand and appreciate all the efforts, but this is something that was going on my body forever. Price or not this was a well established business I put my faith in and was severely let down then completely disrespected. Would there have been more effort if I was paying more? I'm an artist myself, and an aspiring tattoo apprentice and to see monetary value put over the effort, skill and patience to a tattoo that is going on someone's skin FOREVER is completely disgusting to me and a shame to artists that will do their best no matter the price, size or content of a tattoo. I thankfully was given my deposit back and was issued a refund, Aiden was so nice as to offer me another piece free of charge but that's not what matters to me. Please just do better. Be better. I won't be returning and I encourage others to stay far away from this shop, I was embarrassed and shamed for having an opinion on something that's going on my body forever. My friends all received great tattoos from other artists and were shocked at how the owner acted and all agreed they wouldn't come back.

This amazing tattoo came from a very talented artist at this shop. Unfortunately I forgot his name but he was super sweet and professional. And QUICK! This place was clean and lovely. Definitely would return.

Got a little tattoo for my birthday and it sucks. Lots of holes in the line work, and the bottom cross park is darker & thicker on the right then the left

Smiles did my sailor moon tattoo and I was so happy with it! It was exactly what I wanted and then some. He is a very talented artist and can pretty much do any style. The shop is clean and everyone there is really chill. I had a great experience. I will definitely be going back to him to finish my sleeves.

Staff there is cool AF and very professional! I felt like I was in great hands and they made me feel super comfortable, it was crowded due to the event they had but it was worth the wait. Biagio hands down best piercer I've dealt with and i have many piercings! He's cool laid back but very professional! If you want any piercings done go to him

Fast forward to Christmas Eve, I text her and said, "Let's go the day after Christmas. No excuses." I searched for a tattoo shop with good reviews and found Lucky Buddha Tattoo. Since it was Christmas Eve night, I couldn't get ahold of anyone (understandably), so we decided to just try our luck the next day. The shop is located off San Juan and Madison, which can be a busy area, but there's parking right out front... huge win. When we walked in, we were greeted by their apprentice, Sophia, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We explained what we wanted and hoped we could get it done that day. Our original idea was to place the tattoo on the palm area, but Sophia was very transparent about how ink usually doesn't hold well there. She suggested an alternative placement that still worked perfectly with our vision. After discussing the price, we decided to go for it. Luckily, she had availability right then and there. She was so patient, making every tweak and edit we asked for without hesitation or attitude Absolute gem. While she was designing, we hung out up front and got some unexpected puppy therapy! their sweet pit bull wandered over and decided my friend was her chosen human. She jumped right into her lap and chilled, which was especially adorable since my friend is normally scared of big dogs. Instant icebreaker. The entire vibe of the shop was warm, friendly, and chill. The owner even came out and chatted with us for a bit, which just added to the good energy. Once we finalized the design, Sophia got to work. She had a gentle hand, and each tattoo only took about 20 minutes. We walked out beyond happy. the tattoos came out perfect, and the experience was even better. Thank you Sophia, for your awesome work! I'll definitely be coming back for my next one.

The tattoos were for a fan and a bow. The fan approximately 3x3 and the bow was gonna be about 2 in. I got to my appointment and Alex arrived about 10 minutes past our scheduled time. Although she is very nice and polite, I think that part of showing professionalism as an artist is being prepared for your client. I still had to wait another 20 minutes for her to partially set up. I still felt comfortable, we talked about both tattoos and she said she would start with the fan. I do want to point out that I asked Alex if she was ok with tattoing the fan on my inner bicept area where I have soft somewhat saggy skin due to weight loss. She said it wouldn't be an issue and we got the stencil placed and she began. Alex wasn't interested in having a conversation with me, she was having conversations with the other artists which is totally fine. I'm not the most talkative and I do not expect artists to hold a conversation on top of working on a piece of art. After about 2 hours, I noticed the pain was increasing but I was ok with it (I have over 20 tattoos all over my body so this isn't anything new to me). Once I glanced at the tattoo, I noticed my skin was raised and very red. I believe Alex is still an apprentice so she had another artist come and check the tattoo after the 3 hour mark and that artist advised her to stop on that tattoo since the skin was very red and tender. Alex said we would do the bow on my next appointment and for the fan I'd have to wait about a month or so to continue the tattoo. I was totally ok with that even though it's something I've never experienced. Fast forward to March, Alex sent me a message on IG asking if I wanted to have the tattoo finished by the shop owner Mari. I told her that if she felt comfortable finishing it herself, she could. She responded with availability for the last 2 weeks of April which didn't work for me so I asked for the first week of May and she has yet to reply. For context, my last message was sent April 13th and today is May 11th. At this point it's clear to me that she doesn't care about half axxing a tattoo. I'm now looking for another artist that will finish my tattoo. Although this review is for 1 artist, she is a reflection of the shop. I will not be back here.
