We came here to get my teen's ear lobes pierced. It is more expensive than an ear-piercing gun at Claire's (my generation) or a needle and ice cube (my mom's generation), but worth it. I initially wanted an eyebrow piercing but my anatomy didn't allow for good results when Samantha checked my anatomical area. She recommended me not to pierce. I Took my 4 month old daughter here to get her ears pierced. When deciding which earrings to get, you have different options for the material: Titanium, Gold/White Gold, Platinum. I paid $375+ for white gold, and this price also included the piercing fee. The one thing I appreciated about this establishment is how clean it was. The actual piercing room looked like an Operating Room, clean and sterile! I had zero worries about contamination or infection, zero worries. The process from start to finish was less than 30 minutes. After making the mark on her ears, we agreed with placement. Michael was very quick; he cleaned the ears first, then... bam! Kayla took me back for a consult, measured my gauged ears to make sure I could pick out the right size, and showed me a variety of glass and stone plugs; she also informed me that they had other materials. I opted with a couple pairs of single flare (so I wouldn't hurt my ears while re-stretching them to fit all the pairs I already have at home. Cainen met me up at the front counter to pay while I waited for Kayla to sterilize my jewelry; we had lovely conversation until Kayla quickly intercepted to let us know she'd accidentally shown me the wrong size for my fit! No biggie; we went back so I could select stone flares in my correct size. The entire process was professional and personable, and I truly enjoyed the one-on-one consult by appointment only. Had my 8 month old daughter get her ears pierced today. I believe we met with the owner. We came to our appointment about 10 minutes prior. He was straightforward about the process and had to fill out a form for consent and approvals. We decided to go with the titanium with Swarovski crystal. I was very happy to see that her earrings would be flat back. He guided us with how to hold her (I held her torso and feet area; kind of lightly laying on her) and my husband held her head. She did cry and was very upset. But I gave her bottle and some Tylenol and she's all good! The process was very easy. I got my conch and third lobes pierced at a different shop. I originally made an appt with Exotic Body to get jewelry for my lobes that were swollen & were bleeding after I tried to change my jewelry at home (it had been 3 months since I got them). They were constantly itchy & it was painful to insert new jewelry. When I went to my appt, staff was friendly, they had on display a variety of jewelry. Samantha came out and introduced herself with a handshake and all, she led me to the room where I had my consultation. Samantha took care of me & was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and careful. She let me know my lobes weren't infected but they were leading to that point. My conch also needed to be downsized. When I did a check up with the shop I originally got my conch at, they said it wasn't necessary bc I was eventually going to put a hoop in it (I've had my conch for 6 months). The previous shop was ready to switch me to a hoop but I opted not to. Samantha helped me choose beautiful jewelry! They have TONS of options. Yes, it was pricey but just like any other piece of gold jewelry that you keep for a long time, it's an investment. Samantha showed me different options for my lobes and I fell in love with the pieces I chose. There is a huge difference between this shop and the original shop I went to. This place is a member of Association of Professional Piercers & carries quality jewelry. It's been a week since my appt & my ears are no longer swollen, itchy, nor tender. The other thing I noticed was that before my ears were dry and flaky, now they aren't. I'm almost positive it was because of the low quality jewelry I had in. I have mixed feelings about this place. Here's why.... We wanted to get our 7 month old daughters ears pierced and so straight to yelp I went. They had great reviews and although it was a bit pricey I thought it seemed worth it. We booked an appointment as they are by appointment only. $10 non refundable booking fee that does NOT go towards your service. After booking the "request" I received a text message saying they would inform me if it was approved. About 30 minutes later I received a second text saying it was. Then I received a third text with instructions. I was pleasantly surprised they were very strict with their COVID policies. This place was impecable when it came to the cleanliness and safety. My fiancé felt they went a bit overboard but I, myself, truly appreciated this from a business. When you arrive, you ring a doorbell and someone greets you. They take a forehead temperature and then you proceed into the lobby area. They ask for you to sanitize your hands. Super clean! The lobby is really nice with beautiful jewelry display cases. Think more jewelry shop vs piercing parlor. The admin comes back out with a tablet and you proceed to sign your basic terms and conditions. All of this went super fast. Maybe 5 minutes. Here is where I feel I wasn't impressed. We were led back to a room where the gentleman showed us some jewelry options. He went a mile a minute and my fiancé and I felt like we were a bit confused on all the pricing. The booking deposit is standard, the piercing fee for each ear is standard, but choosing the actual earrings is a lot. There were so many options and not to mention it's not just "here's one earring set". Apparently the earring itself is broken down into pieces. We chose some gold earrings but with cubic zirconia as allowed to real diamonds. They asked us to pay cash because it would really help them out, so my fiancé being the negotiator that he is joked "what kind of discount can you give me if I do?" And the gentlemen seemed annoyed at that point. Then it was kinda awkward. We were then instructed back to the lobby to go pay. Drumroll please..... $388.89 Are you kidding me?! We thought about it and figured, "you know what, they have great reviews, it's an investment and we want it done right. Screw it. Swipe the card! My fiancé asked the receptionist if we would be receiving any kind of paperwork for the gold. She went to ask Michael this question and he came out to the lobby and was irritated he said "you can see we run a legitimate business and aren't trying to scam you". My fiancé was upset at this point and just whispered to me that it was a legitimate question when buying gold jewelry. At this point I felt so awkward but we were here and just ready to be done. We are taken in a back room. Now I will say I was impressed with his instructions, clarity, cleanliness of instruments and how fast and efficient he was. He marks our daughters ears and his placement was perfect. We approve the markings and instructs us to swaddle our daughter. Dad hold her head. I hold her body. Here we go..... of course she screams bloody murder when the needle goes in but he placed the earrings super fast. We flip which way she's facing and within 1 minute it was over. He was a real professional with this part! I'm not sure if we caught him on an off day because based off the other reviews I read I feel like it wasn't the same guy. Maybe not the most personable man but definitely a professional. Overall good experience, just prepare to sacrifice your first born to pay for it read more

Had an appointment with Kayla for a daith and helix piercing and loved the whole experience. While this is not my first rodeo in terms of piercings, they still throughly explained everything. They even provided a little info sheet with the sizing of the jewelry they put in, when I could change out the jewelry, the types of piercings I got, healing time, and my piercer's name. I really appreciated how seriously the shop is still handling COVID, they have a mask requirement and they had air filters in every room. The shop takes both card and cash but there's a $5 fee for card and a $2.75 fee for the ATM so I'd recommend pulling cash out beforehand. In total, I spent around $190 for two piercings, jewelry, and a tip. Highly recommend! read more
