Even gave us the option to put a down payment to let us see the difference between a 2016 or 17 model pontoon. Letting us get the best options. Now it's been a year. The service tech is great. Dan is available understanding and knowledgeable. Had a slight problem with cavitation. We took the boat out and were both jumping on the bow to recreate the effect. Try finding a mechanic that will do that instead of just saying " not observed" or " unable to recreate" and sending you a bill! Discovered the problem. I'm…read morealmost embarrassed to say how filthy the boat was when Bilbo's hauled it last week - the hull, cockpit and vinyl cockpit seating. Today I received back the boat beautifully clean and waxed/polished, looking pretty much as good as it did when I picked it up new in 2006. Even the vinyl seating that I thought was beyond help looks great. (I had literally planned to have the seating reupholstered in the near future, and now see I will not need to do so anytime soon.) I wish I had taken "before" pictures, but unfortunately I didn't. Bilbo's also bottom painted the boat, painted the drive and trim tabs, and changed hydraulic hoses on the outdrive. All of the work was done very well and promptly, but it is the detailing that truly exceeded my expectations- the boat looks better than I imagined possible. "Detailing" is not really the right word- it is more of a "restoration." In addition to its very good work, Bilbo's is an absolute pleasure to deal with. They met me at a boat ramp at exactly the time promised, both to haul out and return the boat. The office manager kept me apprised of the progress of the work by phone and text, and even texted photo and video updates. When the boat was hauled out last week, I was told it would be ready to be put back in the water before this weekend, and so it was - even though more work than originally planned turned out to be necessary (replacement of the rotted hydraulic lines). I will be calling Bilbo's Marine in the future, and recommend them very highly.

We found a boat we loved and made arrangements to come see it. We took a almost 5 hour drive and…read morethe boat was still being worked on. Reid took us for a test drive. Made a punch list and agreed to a price. The boat needed to have a hull gouge fixed due to the trailer hitting while loading which also needed to be adjusted. Fiberglass needed to be fixed in the stern. One motor had overheating prob and water was dribbling instead of flowing. The tires were all replaced due to issues in transit. When all was done we got the invoice and paid set up a transport. 20 min out they blew a tire that was not replaced. Then we got into a bicker about who was paying for the tire when it was the only one that wasn't replaced. Then we were informed that we had to pay for a processing fee that was not listed in the agreement. They held the paperwork until they received the processing fee. They did not accept credit card and wanted us to wire it. When we already wired them the agreed amount. Once we started going over the boat we found the the motor still was overheating. They replaced the water pump but it still wasn't fixed. Come to find out the thermostats we're extremely corroded. Not one apology, this was handled terribly, worst experience and not fixing what was agreed to..... Boat trailer was never adjusted and still hits when loading ( not a bolt touched to adjust) The paperwork was never followed up as for a bank was still showing a lien on it. Which was a bank issue and was straightened out. So sad to see this boat was not fixed as they said. And then to hold paperwork as leverage to get a processing fee that was not in the agreement and we sent out by mail with proof and pic but still held til received (did not accept cc) I am a business owner myself and this lack of following through is terrible, no follow through from the top down.... If you find yourself purchasing from them make sure it right before you take delivery and get your coast guard paperwork done first....
