Just did a plug on my tire a month ago but the hold was not sealed correctly and losing air slowly. Losing 1 PSI in a week.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.Their workers rush through the job without properly checking for issues. I brought my tire in four times for a leak, and they failed to find an obvious sidewall puncture that I discovered myself at home. Instead of identifying the problem, they repeatedly sealed the tire unnecessarily without testing it properly using soapy water or submerging it. They charged me $20 each time, but the tire kept leaking because they ignored the actual issue. This carelessness could have put my safety at risk. Avoid this place. read more

BASED ON OIL CHANGE! There was a short wait when I arrived, no prior appointments made. This was my first time here for an oil change. I got the regular one (Shell) for $35. So I bought 2 tires online for my van that needed to be mounted and balanced. I went to Flushing Tire early Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised that the owner said park right here. He immediately had one of his guys start taking the wheels off. They charged me $30 each tire and I was out of there in a half hour. I am very happy with the service and price I received. The repairmen are really nice, and so are the bosses (sometimes). They charged me ~120 per tire, ~70 oil change, and ~40 inspection. They quoted me $225 in the middle of the change, It went up to $245 and at the end, he charged me $265. It is the same tire you can get at Walmart for $165. Just beware. read more

OH NO! NOT AGAIN! I can't stand potholes, nails and anything else that ultimately flattens your tire. The winter storms in the Northeast has been brutal to our poor cars. The only saving grace is the folks at Flushing tire can fix your flat literally in minutes for a very fair and reasonable price. Whether you opt to apply a patch or a plug on your tire. They will have you in and out quickly. If you want it done any cheaper, plug it yourself, but $10 for a plug and $15 for a patch is a great price. Do not come here if you care about your rims. I stopped by to service my wheel and noticed the technician was using a metal pry bar with my rim as leverage to remove the tire when it was mounted on the machine. They damaged my $1,800 wheel and left multiple gouges/scratches along the edge of the entire rim. When asked about the damage the worker had no response. If you decide to visit, be sure to take pictures of your wheels before handing them off. read more

Just finished a road trip so of course I ended up with a nail in one tire and a bent rim. I went to flushing tire for the first time to patch the nail in my tire, was in and out in less than 20 min. Went a second time for the bent rim, they sealed what needed to be sealed and once again was out within 20 min. Didn't spend more that 15 each time. This will be where I go from now on. This place is a rip off! We were there a few months ago to purchase a tire and they told us that they would give us a new tire the next time we come for $70. We went back today to replace the same tire we got replaced a few months ago. We explained that we just got the tire a few months ago and the owner was very rude and said it was not from them, basically saying that we were lying. Had a slow leak but couldn't see what was causing it. Went to a shop closer to me first. They told me an hr and half wait. I then remembered this shop when going into the center of Flushing. Came here 10/10/2022 and was done in 10 minutes. Quick in and out. The tech showed me what was causing the leak and told me he was going to plug the hole. Very quick and painless. Got two flat tires and called many tire shops before finally found them on Yelp. All other shops were closed due to COVID. They had brand new tires for my car in stock, and there were choices of a cheaper brand and a more expensive brand. I was able to drive away with two new tires within 20 minutes. The experience was great considering most shops were closed during pandemic, I could've been waiting for days for a shop to re-open and order the right type of tires. Update, with another encounter with Flushing Tires I had 2 excounters with this shops. Encounter 1. I called the shop to get a quote on getting front suspension changes out with new parts. The man on the phone said that he would need to see the rust on the truck first before he can give a final price. But he gave a rough estimate, forgot what it was. I said okay  and like normal people, shopped around at other shops. The next day I called back as I have decided to go with this shop. The same man answered the phone. I said "Hi I have a 02 sequoia and I wanted to get my suspension replaced. I..." before I could finish the man on the phone shouted, " you called yesterday and I already gave you a price" and hung up. Okay that was odd. So I left a bad Yelp review about the shop. Guess I could've worded my question better. I had my suspension work done at Mao Auto Tech in Astoria (highly recommend) Excounter 2. It was the morning before a major road trip down south. It was 8 in the morning and Flushing Tires was the only one open nearby. I needed to have my tires rebalanced before hitting the road. When I got there, a man greeted with the usual pleasantries. Probably the same person as the first encounter but cannot say for sure. He said "When I take off the wheels, I might scratch your rims with the sockets". I said okay, fair enough warning. As they finished balancing my tires and started putting the wheels back on, this is when the less than pleasant experience started. I attribute a lack of workmanship and laziness to what happened. They used a impact torque gun to put the lugs nuts back on. They torqued the nuts to oblivion. They ripped off 4 of my lug bolts from the wheel hub. They man said  "oh that's not good". Well no shit Sherlock, I can't drive 1000 miles with my wheel hanging on my a thread. He then proceeded to say it broke cause your car is old. Well no, it broke cause you used a torque gun on the highest setting and ripped them off. The man said "Let me take a look at the studs, I'll see if I can fix it". Let's all guess what he did next. That's Right! He took responsibility for his mistake and fixed my car free of charge because it was his mistake. Lol. Nope.. He said I can't fix it, I'm too busy today. There were 2 car in the shop, mine included. The man told me to take it to another shop and have them service it cause it's still early in the morning. Yup they broke my studs off my car, refused to fix it, and left me to go take to another shop to fix. Oh and he still charged me $40 for the rebalancing. I left and went to a shop I knew and trusted, Mao Auto Tech. They fixed this shops mistakes and I was on the road on time for my trip. Yes this Flushing Tires is so trash, I'm promoting another shop to go to instead of this one. Tldr. They couldn't handle me calling the shop twice and hung up on me. They broke my lug studs and refused to fix it. Went in for a $40 balancing and left with 4 broken lug studs. Had to go to another shop to fix their mistakes, cost $360 to fix. read more

This shop were recommended by friends. Service is quick. Price is decent. That's about the only good thing about this place. I went to get my tire change. The mechanic didn't balance the tire properly and it wasn't sitting correctly when he tighten the nuts. Long story short, car start to vibrate when hitting speed of 60mph then it start to have a clicking sound. After a while, it stop clicking. Then steering wheel start to jerk when hitting speed of 20 mph. I called up the shop. Only thing he say was to tighten the wheel and bring it in as in drive it back. Then he hung up on me. This shop is hell shoddy and don't take responsibility. Avoid like plagues. I end up going to the nearest Costco to get my wheel balanced for $10 (2 wheels)!! read more

Never judge a book by its cover.. a hole in the wall but really a blessing. I had a run flat and thought that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed but flushing tire did. They were the only tire store open until 8pm on Saturday. Other places closed at 4pm. I called and they told me to come in and they'll fix it right away. I absolutely love this spot. Great analysis, great service, pricing - all that. I've been going here for years. Some places you go and if you're a woman they assume you don't know cars and attempt to take advantage. Not here - they def look out!! I've gotten breaks, new tires, all my oil changes and inspections - they've also fixed a couple other small things but my car is running on 172k miles and they've kept it in tip top shape. read more

I have come here four times now. The first time I had a nail in my tire and they took care of my tire in a very timely manner. Great service and no complaints. The tire is just like new. The owner or co-owner's name is Zach. He made my experience at this shop wonderful and therefore, I would definitely come here again. I asked him how much it'll cost for a tire replacement just in case my tire ever failed. I asked if it'll be cheaper if I replaced all 4 tires, he didn't bother telling me the price because he said its not worth it to do that since its a waste of money. He wasn't worried about money, he was worried about customer satisfaction and making sure I got the best value for my money and time. The second time I came here was to get a NY state inspection. It was around 630 and they close at 700. The worker there told me it was too crowded and to come back tomorrow. He told me they close at 700 and that I should come back tomorrow for the inspection. So I come back a third time at 545. Although the shop closes at 7pm, the NY state inspection machine closes at 5pm!! What?!?! I wish they would have told me this or had it written somewhere. The communication of the Asian employee was just horrible. I spoke to Zach and he was the one that told me that the machine turns off at 5pm. I didn't show I was frustrated, because hey, what is that even going to do? It won't help with anything. Before I could even be upset, Zach was fast and told me to go to mobile or gulf gas station not too far away. He said those two might/should be open. He has not going to make any money out of recommending me to another place. Another great example of great customer service. He didn't care about the money, he cared about my satisfaction. Today was the fourth time I went, I went around 10:45am, unfortunately it was crowded and Zach told me it'll be a 15-20 minute wait, I didn't have that much time to spare. I do appreciate Zach's honesty and professionalism. I did get my NY state inspection elsewhere. But I wanted to take my time and write a honest review about how honest the owner of this shoo is. I don't really know much about cars but I go here for all my car problems (inspections, lights going off in my car, tire pressure, etc) and this place always fixes it in a timely manner and charges me VERY fair rates. My car got hit in the back TWICE from the same parking lot and Zack fixed it right up. I feel like this is such an honest place that really values their customers. No wonder this place is so popular.
