Pacific Service Credit Union - Pacific Service CU Livermore branch

So this bank had my review removed that is a real true review…read more I have all the evidence needed to bring it to light that this bank is stealing money from member. My account would always be at a negative balance even after depositing cash into an atm. I brought it to their attention and was sent new atm cards but I was still being charged. The last card they sent I didn't even activate it to see if I as just imagining it or my account as soon as I put money in practically spent itself without activating the new card and I never got checks either. I had my account for less than a year and have NEVER had so many problems with a bank. It became depressing that all my Tip money from my clients, I'm a hairstylist, was feeding this never ending bank account. I made 1 last deposit to bring my account to good standing before I had enough of this cycle then all of a sudden my account was nearly $1000 over drawn, I was locked out of my bank access and have spent nearly 3 my months disputing my account after they have already charged off my account, sent my account to collections, put me in check systems and had a Highly Negative remark put on my credit that ultimately disqualified me from getting an apartment for my self, I couldn't pay my credit card bills without my checking account so now those are late plus added fees due to the negligence of Pacific Service Credit Union. They finally contacted me today, that Jojo bless his heart, he called to say we were able to fix your credit and take you out of check systems, we reversed all fees that you were charged and zeroed out you account. All while holding a grin I could hear over the phone thinking I wouldn't catch that last part..... wait what did you say? You zeroed out my account but I had a positive amount of funds JoJo with a "P" for positive not an "N" for negative or a "Z" for zero but a "P". While I'm grateful for my credit being fixed and being taken out of check systems, P.S.C.U is responsible for my hard earned reputation of on time bill pay being tarnished. You should be held accountable and take RESPONSIBILITY for your (knowingly or not knowingly) actions of theft and then trying to cover it up with not allowing me to log in to the account to calculate everything that was legitimately charged by me. Instead I was offered to be mailed a statement stating they ZEROED out my account. Wow you all should be terminated immediately and as a member still because you keep my saving account open, all of the staff including the president who refused to talk to me, be terminated and the member guidelines be rewriting to better suit the members since we all have shared. P.S.C.U should also be made to pay a settlement fee to cover what they have negligently done to me. It will take time to bounce back from this especially after Covid-19 and not being able to take clients for over a year.

Short Story: They bounced (returned) a check for $370k after being told in person that it was…read morelegitimate and there was plenty of funds to cover it. Long Story: I am the trustee for a trust. I went into the San Ramon branch on 11/7, the day after the final deposit (wire) into the trust checking account. The money was already in the account and ready to be distributed. I told the staff that there would be 2 checks (debits) coming in to that account for ~$370k each. I told them who they were for and, since there would be no more income for the trust, to close the account when both checks cleared and the balance was zero. I told them that I was heading out of the country in 2 days and wouldn't be available for a week. I asked if they needed anything more and was told they put the notes into the account and all was set. I was then called the next day to approve one of the checks. I told them I already did that and there would be one more check and make sure it is processed. Then, while I was out of the country and no phone access, I received an email from my office saying that Fremont Bank needed to talk to me. I had to pay $30 for a phone connection. It was after hours and they don't have an answering machine or service. So, called again the next morning and was told they bounced (returned) the check already because I wasn't immediately available to confirm the check. These people are incompetent. While I had phone service I called the corporate headquarters and filed a complaint. I was promised someone from HQ and San Ramon would call me back. No one ever did. When I returned, I spent another $30 to wire the money to the beneficiary (they didn't want me to do that but now had no choice). I used the Danville branch this time. It took about 30 minutes to get the wire handled and was assured that they would close the account as soon as the wire went through. Today, I received a call from the San Ramon branch demanding that I make a deposit or they would close the account. I would use a stronger word than incompetent but Yelp would likely not allow my review. Don't use Fremont Bank unless you want to waste your time.
