They also ensure your teeth are super strong by taking x-rays and reviewing them with you to show you any change each year. I've also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. George for a night guard - darn stressful job has me grinding my teeth - and he is very nice and professional too! I lived in DC and had terrible experiences with three different DC dentists, including one offering to give me botox during my cleaning. Um what? This resulted in me avoiding dentists at all costs. My parents see Dr. Perkins and thanks to my love for all things sugar and soda I eventually ended up in the chairs of both Dr. B and Dr. G over the last (ehhh) six years or so. Most recently...my visit wasn't by choice. A filling or something or another fell out as I was happily crunching on tortilla chips when bam I needed my first root canal. Dr. George worked me in and dealt with the situation way better than I could have imagined. I went to the root canal specialist then back to him and oddly it wasn't the terrible experience I was anticipating. Kind of weird but also kind of refreshing. I just went back for my cleaning and have an appointment for fillings. Not something to brag about but they're the first dental office that's made me feel comfortable about actually coming back!

I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

The morning I went there were a number of more senior citizens there for dental care and it appears they really take care of their more senior clients. Once back in the room I waited quite a bit for the dentist to come. Before that the dental hygienist took X-rays which was quite the task to put it gently. The X-ray experience was probably the initial deterrent. Also, I thought I booked an initial cleaning which I thought was typical for a first appointment, but apparently I did not. The first appointment consisted entirely of X-rays and then a review and evaluation of the X-rays. I don't know if I'm a personal fan of the bedside manner for the dentist, but that's a subjective standard rather than objective. I'm sure this is the right office for someone, just not me.

This hygienist is not thorough with teeth cleaning, my teeth still felt unclean after seeing her. Also her communication skills make procedures cumbersome, for example she is not good at conducting X-rays, she is silent and expects you to know she's about to toss the heavy X-ray blanket on you, and how to move your head or hold your mouth when inserting the X-ray into your mouth, then she blames her bad X-rays on the patient. Unfortunately Victoria is the only hygienist at Silver Spring Dental Arts, they do not have any other options.

Unfortunately this also resulted in neglect of routine dental care which only got worse. I recently had a root canal done at another office who referred me to Dr. Park for follow up and I'm so grateful that they did. Aside from the root canal follow up, I knew I had two teeth in the back that I was convinced would need to be extracted because they had such large, deep cavities. Dr Park not only prevented them from being extracted, but was able to fill them in office and save them entirely. He is so kind and gentile, walks me through everything he's doing, and answers the firehose of questions I throw his way effortlessly. His reception staff are also outstanding and have been able to get me in for follow up appointments quickly. While I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, I couldn't ask for a better experience than with Dr. Park. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!

Took the office 2 days to call in rx ibuprofen, which I was already taking excessive amounts of and it wasn't cutting the pain. My wife and I are patients of record and this is the first time I haven't been given something for pain management. Very disappointed. I get it, opioids are addictive and require paperwork, but even a day or two of pain medication to take the edge off to sleep and work would have been appreciated. Feeling better now but not sure I'll go back without a pain management plan.

The Staff is nice and accommodating but the waiting time frame when paying out of pocket is a bit…read morelong and it's not something you can change your mind on and get your money back that fact that they don't have a lab on site should be made clear at the first appointment having to wait for something to be mailed back and forth between them and the lab is a headache especially when having denture or partial made to not be able to have it made directly in office and available within 30 minutes to the next day after you've had all the surgery you've done is a bit problematic especially when you're ready to get your life back on track , but you're having to wait one to two months just to have a partial maid and fitted because you're having to wait for the time it takes for them to send it back-and-forth that should all be made very clear before you pay for whatever service that you're getting not finding out afterwards that oh this is actually gonna take a couple weeks because we have to send it back-and-forth because we don't actually have a lab on site I wanted to have all of this done before my birthday, and came in with enough timeframe that was not the case I paid everything upfront out-of-pocket ended up having to cancel my birthday now it's interfering with family events all because I'm having to wait to send something back-and-forth between the dentist and the lab instead of there being an actual lab on site and when I expressed that I needed this made very fast they should've told me that they could not offer that and to take my service somewhere else instead of taking my money and then being like oh this is actually gonna take about a month after you've had your teeth and stuff pulled. I've gotten a partial made in a day that lasted almost 10 years because they had a lab on site.
