LAS RUINAS... DONDE EL CANSANCIO TERMINÓ Y EL AMOR VOLVIÓ A NACER.
After days in Puerto Rico without water... without electricity... surviving the heat and the frustration, I looked at my wife on her birthday and knew there was only one thing I could do.
I had to save our romance.
And so... we escaped to Las Ruinas in Old San Juan.
Ay, Dios mío...
The moment we walked inside, the suffering disappeared. The drama faded. Suddenly, this wasn't just a spa day--it was the beginning of a new episode of AMOR VERDADERO.
The dry sauna embraced us with its heat. The infrared sauna whispered, "Olvida tus problemas..." And the steam room? Madre mía... after days of island chaos, that steam felt like the heavens had finally opened their doors.
Then came the pools...
The thermal pool was pure relaxation. The cold plunge shocked every problem straight out of my body. And the saltwater pool made us feel like we had escaped to our own private paradise.
I looked at my wife and thought:
"Después de todo lo que hemos sufrido... finalmente, mi amor... hemos encontrado la paz."
And just when I thought Las Ruinas had revealed all its secrets... PLOT TWIST!
There's a juice bar!
There's also a beautiful gym filled with modern, high-tech equipment, because apparently Las Ruinas wants you to relax, rejuvenate AND come out looking like the mysterious millionaire who arrives in episode 48 of the novela.
They've thought of everything, including showers in the bathrooms, so after enjoying the saunas, pools and facilities, you can shower, refresh yourself and head back into the beautiful streets of Old San Juan feeling completely renewed.
But what made this experience truly special was sharing it with my wife on her birthday.
After several difficult days without water and power on the island, Las Ruinas gave us exactly what we needed: peace, relaxation, laughter, romance and a beautiful day together in Old San Juan.
We arrived exhausted...
We left rejuvenated.
We arrived looking for relaxation...
AND WE FOUND LOVE AGAIN.
Las Ruinas wasn't simply a spa getaway.
It was therapy for the body, peace for the soul... and another chapter in our love story.
And as every great Spanish telenovela must end...
I held my wife's hand, looked dramatically toward the streets of Old San Juan and whispered:
"Mi amor... después de la oscuridad, siempre vuelve la luz."
¡LAS RUINAS, VOLVEREMOS! Porque un amor como este... jamás se olvida. read more
