I pleaded for earlier and he said he could maybe schedule Monday. "Great." I had located and dug up the tank cover. Two phases were executed by Karly Pile's men. A worker arrived to install an access cover, consisting of seriously heavy-gauge ribbed PVC and a screw-down plug with gasket. With the piles of hand-dug dirt and as quickly as reasonably possible, he re-buried the hole. The access was at ground level with the cover placed on top. Nobody should have the huge problem finding it I did. The second gentleman arrived not long afterward and pumped the tank, including back-washing it to get some stubborn bottom sludge. He inspected the interior and gave me some excellent advice and insight. He screwed down the cover screws, loaded up his rig and left. "We will send you the bill," he had told me. All professional. You'd think someone working in this line of work might be bitter but both gentleman exhibited upbeat attitudes, intellect, and professional efficiency. Highly recommended.

I called them on the Friday afternoon of the weekend before Thanksgiving, and they sent out two guys first thing the next morning to stop the leak/bypass the system so I could have water, but no leak. They were super informative, and friendly. We needed a new water softener - and I was again impressed by the level of service from Tri County Pump Service. Firstly, the gentleman who was to install the water softener came out two days before scheduled to ensure that he would be fully prepared to install the system on the Wednesday, and noted that the filter needed cleaning, so informed me he would bring a filter for that as well. On the day of installation, he was early (which was fantastic! so rare in a contractor!), quickly removed the old system and installed the new system. It is the little things that really made me happy - he explained what I needed to do moving forward with the new system: when I should add more salt, when I should change the filter, how often it should be service. He left me one of the empty bags of the salt so I have a reference when I go and buy more bags of salt. This makes life easier for me, as I have never had a house with a water softener before. But they should have stopped and handed over to the well drilling company prior to causing irreparable harm in my well. I was left and forced to drill an entirely new well due to the mess. They left behind a proper well company could have done other things to get that well pumped up, but not after it snapped. This has ended up being a $50,000 plus problem.
