I had a similar issue here both times that led to me having "mixed" feelings. First off, let me say, I live in Willis so a trip to Tomball is a little bit of a hike. With that said, when I came here to get my level several months ago, they didn't get it right the first time. My truck was extremely "bouncy" and was making a squeaking noise which led to me having to make a return trip for them to change the level kit & they got it right the second time. Fast forward to several weeks ago when I decided to get my 3.5" lift. I had a similar experience. Brought it in but they didn't get it right the first time. It wasn't bouncy but it was definitely making a squeaking sound. Came back which led to them fixing the struts and getting it right the second time. So both times, they didn't get it right the first time but nailed it the second time which became a bit of an inconvenience for me coming all the way from Willis. One absolute positive thing I'll say is that if you have an issue with your service here, they'll do whatever they can to make it right.

After I get my car from a fresh oil change, the next day my check engine light comes on. I take it back there to see what the problem is and they tell that my camshaft position sensor is no good. I do my own research and find out oil intrusion into the sensor is a main component in that part becoming damaged. I leave and go home and check my dipstick and the oil level is going up half of the dipstick. I call and ask for a manager to explain to him what was done wrong and he rudely hung up on me. Fair to say I will be going after them for reimbursement for what I have to pay to have the vehicle repaired. I would not go to this shop under any circumstances.

No total was given to me over the phone. When I came in... they told me everything costs $1,600+ but the gave me a deal and took off the oil change.. so $1,584! Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion and ask for the total price before they do the job. Chance and David are nice guys but they are not up front on numbers. It's my fault for not asking and for trusting them when I told them that I needed this to be budget friendly.

They replaced the transmission again. While in their possession, they had a subcontractor who did their transmissions. While with the subcontractor, there was a citation issued for running a red light. I paid the ticket. Midas refuses to reimburse me as they contend I did not need to pay it and they were not driving. The car still had issues with transmission even though they had it for over a year with multiple subcontractors. I ultimately took it elsewhere and had it fixed properly. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.
