Terrible service and unprofessional staff. I went in for something simple and left with more problems. They broke my lug nut studs and didn't even bother to give me my lug nut back, which belongs to me. On top of that, the prices were way too high for the low-quality service they provided. I went in Wednesday July 8, 2026 to see if they could lift the rear of my Travato to install new coach batteries and I met Michael. They could not do the job but Michael was so helpful and professional that I decided to write a review. Michael came out quickly to the front desk, the walked to my car to see about the job. He was efficient, very friendly, and seemed quite smart and trustworthy. I would go there for any service as long as Michael was there. read more

I came in for a state inspection they informed me that my vehicle was very unsafe. Quoted me on everything I needed to get done all reasonably priced. I got new tires new struts and left feeling very safe and comfortable. Beware of the "Oh By The Way" Charges! We took my wife's car in to get a flat repaired. When we asked how much it was to get the repair done, they said it would be $30. Because it was a Sunday, and we didn't have too many options, we told them to fix it. When it was finished, we went to go and pay for the service and then it happened. The person behind the counter said, "By the way, we forgot to quote you for the balance that we had to do as well. That will be an extra $25." It frustrates me when businesses pull the old "by the way." If you choose this company, make sure you get the whole cost upfront. read more

Would suggest to get a second opinion if not, don't even give them a chance. Second time we've taken a nail in the middle of our tire to them, knowing that it needs to be plugged/patched. They tell my wife it's a new tire and we need to just sell you another new tire (tires not purchased here). Take to another shop and they don't think twice or give hassle, and just plug it. Either it's because my wife has went and that's how they think they're gonna do business with a women. Or they clearly just don't know what they're talking about. An emergency popped up on my JEEP. Send it in an hour before they closed and serviced me on super late notice. Chris was super easy and I had a super easy time working with him. Don't let the tire and battery fool you. They got me right with the services I requested of draining and refilling my front and back diffs. Money isn't a problem for me, but they quoted lower than a lot of the off-road shops. I called first despite the off-road shops not even being open. I have to agree with other reviewers. I've been to other NTB's although this location is closest to home. This is by far the slowest service of all. Honestly the only reason I keep coming back is to get warranty repairs on my last set of tires that I regretfully bought here. That was a bad decision as they damaged my wheels. Although they paid to replace them I have had problems ever since. One tire has a slow leak that they just can't seem to repair? I walked out of the house yestetday to find I had a flat tire so I aired it up & came in. They couldn't do a flat repair because they are so short handed. I had to make an appointment for the next day for a flat repair. Arrived 15 minutes early and it still took 1-1/2 hours to fix a simple flat tire. So much time spent in their waiting room that I'll never get back! read more

Called to make appointment for brake pads and rotor replacements... was told it would take about 2 hours, they had a special on the website. When I dropped off my car at my appointment time no one was there to greet me or check me in. I stood in the lobby for 10 minutes before walking around to the bay where I was told " If I see the person who's supposed to be up there, I'll let them know... ". When Chris finally made it to the desk, I dropped my keys off and left (this is at 9:30 AM) at 12 I got a call for my "estimate" which was DOUBLE the advertised special. Additionally saying I needed a brake fluid flush which would be another $99. $900 total! I quickly called elsewhere who quoted me $700 plus tax for the same service! When I returned my call to Chris to let him know I would be picking up my car because I was quoted less elsewhere he turned around and offered to match the price! What a scam and a waste of my time. As a woman this is the treatment I worry about when trying to take care of auto problems myself. Shame on this establishment. read more

But that is because there is one 3 reps running the store. However those Reps AKA Samantha Stack & Matthew Nix. was Amazing!!!. These 2 went above my expectations. Worst place to get new tires or fix a flat, these guys at this shop don't like to work, the front guys always make it a point to like discourage you from leaving your vehicle, which could be a good thing. Normally they say its going to take 3 hours because we have only 1 mechanic. I take my business to the NTB on I45 and 1960, these guys will treat you right, otherwise they need to close the FM 2920 location, its a loser read more

I stoped by this location on my way from picking up my baby from daycare after work one day. I pulled up to the service bay where it was labeled oil change and waited for nearly 10 minutes for somebody to come to my door. Nobody showed up so I continued to park my car in front of their front door and unload the car seat and walk inside. I was greeted by two men who were helping a lady and they said they would be with me in just a minute.When they finally got to me I asked if there was time for an oil change and how long I would wait. They said that there was one person in front of me and it would be about an hour. I said that would be fine I was in walking distance of Chick-fil-A so I decided I would just put the baby in the stroller and walk there and hang out until they were done. The two men were talking up my baby and making me feel welcome. Once it came to the paperwork I was told that it was going to be $80 for an oil change!!! I said why is it going to be that expensive I've never paid that much for an oil change before he said because he has to use The best synthetic oil that there is because his paperwork said he had to. I said I've gone to Jiffy Lube before and paid $25 for an oil change. He said it's probably because of the oil that they chose. He said that he can't use any other oil than what it recommends first on his paper or he would be liable for anything happening to the vehicle. I told him I appreciated that but I should be able to choose which quality of oil that goes in my car. And just to be clear I drive a 2017 Buick encore. I don't drive a high-performance vehicle. He told me that I can go back to Jiffy Lube if I'd like I said no I don't like the Jiffy Lube in Tomball. I know he was taking advantage of me. I left and got closer to home and went to express oil change here in Creekside I was in and out in under 15 minutes and I paid 34 four dollars for my oil change. Almost three hours for an oil change and an inspection with ONE other person here when I got here. They seem to be able to patch tires fine, all the while my vehicle has taken almost three hours. If there was someone in the lobby, I'd have asked them what the hold up is. This is typical of all the NTB locations I've been to in Houston. This NBT turned a potentially really bad day one that had just a small inconvenience. I was working in Tomball on a Saturday. My work entails hauling a trailer around. I happened to notice a couple of nails one of the trailer tires and stopped off at this NBT to have it fixed as flat tires on trailers on freeways are no fun at all. They removed the tire, took the objects out and checked to see where any leaks might be. They found that the nails had not actually penetrated the tire completely and there were no leaks. They put the tire back on and I was quickly back on my way home. They did not even charge me for their time and labor involved. The man in charge mentioned he had recently taken over managing this location so if you have had less than optimal treatment here, give them another shot. We brought all four tires here and 2 of the 4 are defective and coming apart. We have been here over 2 hours and the desk person was unable to even call manufacturer to find out what to do. Our mechanic said the tires are causing excessive shaking due to them falling apart. Not needing an alignment, just bad tires, under warranty. This will be our last visit here. I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change & tire rotation at 3:30 on a weekday. The shop didn't appear to be busy. The service adviser told me it would be a hour and a half wait. After killing time I walked back over at 5:30 & saw my vehicle was still in the bay. At 6:15 I was asked if I had the wheel lock key. At that point I asked for my vehicle to be brought around without the rotation being done. So I pay and walk out to find my door panel was full of grease & I had to ask to have it cleaned. They also changed my radio station. Also I guess a worker had there girlfriend there, was loud and very disrespectful. Such a shame these kids are running this business into the ground. read more

I called to see if they were able to check my tire pressure a friendly employee answered he said he could with no charge. I went in parked and right away they helped me with my tire pressure super fast and efficient. I did my first tire-rotation and oil change (not first) in NTB this year and was told to keep wheel locks in NTB. At that time, I was not sure and agreed. Then I did my oil change in the other shop in May, 2014 without the tire roation, I have the receipt. In 11/30/2014, I did my oil change in NTB and they asked for the wheel lock for tire rotation. I told them I did the only tire rotation in NTB. So they only did the oil change and told me that they only keep the wheel lock for only half a year. And they asked me to match the wheel lock from Honda dealer. They even did not apologize for this. Man, if you don't keep for us, why asked us to keep the wheel lock in the NTB and why not put my wheel lock back into my car console? My car is Honda Accord 2010. read more

The services here is bad. They were very slow and very rude. I got a flat tire as I was leaving Tomball to drive home to Austin. My tires are from discount tires, but they are closed on Sundays so we stopped here to get it fixed. There was no one in the lobby when we walked in and we waited at least 10 minutes for someone to help us. When someone finally did come to help us, he was very rude. It was 11am & he said that they wouldn't be able to get to us until to the end of the day even to look at the tire and see if it was able to be patched. This was a surprise as there was only one other person there & I could see from their board that there were only a handful of appointments that day. I stopped by the location on March 4th at 1 pm. The shop manager said they could schedule me for an oil change and tire rotation at 2pm. I came back 5 minute till two and gave the keys to the shop manager. At 330 I went outside looking for the manager who was nonexistent during my wait and other customer that came in. When I located him he said I was almost finished. At 350 I saw my car go up in the air and they had just started on the service. Worst service I have ever seen I will never be back. My wife and I have been coming to this NTB for almost a decade now and I have had only positive experiences so far. I have only had oil changes and alignments and the work is high quality. One day I was driving by and had a nail puncture my tire and they fixed it for free even though I did not get the tires there. I like to work on my own car and can vouch for the fact that this is an honest and trustworthy place of business. When something is wrong with my car they show me what is wrong and the parts I need to get. When I take it apart their findings are always confirmed and there is no BS. My wife and other family members have had similar experiences. In short, it is very difficult to find honest shops to take your car and to trust that they will take care of you. This place has always demonstrated honesty, fair pricing, with a clean waiting area with coffee and wifi. To the people complaining about the wait, don't be dumb, just make an appointment and your wait will be short. read more

It appears a year later and this location still has horrible customer service! They are rude, I waited over 2 hrs for a simple oil change and than they don't fill up the washer fluid-the 1,2,3's of oil change! I called to let them know was upset due to wait and for forgetting the simplest of oil changes----- after I voiced my opinion did not receive apology only excuses, than the employee Tommy proceeds to say and a "Happy Holiday to You" the manager was just as ignorant and disrespectful!!! Horrible service!!! Made an appointment online for two oil changes, showed up, and waited two hours for the oil changes when we were the only customers there. We were not updated on what was going on with the vehicles and no one was in the lobby most of the time except for the occasional cashier girl who spent most of her time either in the restroom or looking at clothes online. I will never go back to NTB again. Also, this is the first time I've been here do I did not know where to park and I pulled up by the garages and no one came out to help or see what I needed, they just acted like I was not there. Even when on the customer bill of rights inside stated that they will come out to me. Another thing, after the oil changes were finished, they brought my car around to the door but not my fiancé's, who by the way is on crutches and his car was parked all the way on the side. Just got back from the dealership. I had to spend 150.00 to repair the job NTB did on my vehicle. To start off with my vehicle drove fine before I visited NTB. I got 2 flats and needed to replace the tires. So I got all 4 tires replaced. Then the vehicle pulled to the right extremely bad. The local NTB said they would do an alignment for 100.00. So I let them do it. I got it back and it pulled the same as it did before just not as bad. I brought it back and waited 3.5 hours for them to do it again. When they were "Done" they said they needed to do it again. the technician asked if the vehicle had ever been in a wreck. Come on seriously it drove fine before I got the tires changed. I asked for the keys. I dealt with it for a while but finally had my fill. Took it to the dealership and in 30 minutes they had it fixed and back to the way i bought it. 30 MINUTES!!! The technician told me even if I don't take the vehicle to the dealership never go to NTB. His words "This was the worse alignment job he had ever seen them do on any car". My adjustment was all the way to the end what ever that means, and could no longer be adjusted. What a joke. So my alignment cost me 250.00 plus taxes. Learned my lesson will never go back and I will share this story everywhere I can. read more
