In fact, I forgot the last time I saw a gym, especially in a major city, for that little per month. After my "gym tour" with the one of their very kind staff members, I knew I had found my new local spot for workouts. The gym itself is quite big. It has two levels, with most cardio machines being on the first floor and the weights/dumbbells on the second level. I've been going for a few months now, and these are some of my favorite things: - Always clean - Lots of locker space - All machines have been working flawlessly - They follow Covid-19 protocols, so certain machines are blocked off - 24 hour access (!!!!) - Lots of machines, so I never have to wait around to use a tread, for example - Doesn't get too crowded even during peak hours For $15, I get a LOT more than what I expected. I can cancel at anytime and I didn't even have to pay a fee upfront. They do charge you a $39 one-time fee during the first 30 days of signing up, which apparently locks in your membership price in case of any increases in the future. You can also upgrade your membership to their "premium" version which includes tanning, access to the Theragun and a few other perks.

This gym is in a strip mall that appears to be connected to apartments. Never been an issue, except sometimes when you go in the bathroom you can smell the very strong stench of cigarette smoke. I usually just hold my breath and deal. Over the past few months (6 months maybe?), the ceiling has collapsed in this gym, which has made for pretty messy and uncomfortable workouts. I get it- construction stuff sucks- but it looks like they haven't done any work to fix it. It didn't really bother me until today. The neighbors' cigarette smoke is now pouring directly into the gym. The entire gym smells like cigarettes because of whatever is happening with the vents and ceiling. I can't deal with smoke as it is, but even more so when I'm heaving on the Stairmaster. Like what? I really hope they fix this because this has been such a lovely gym. With the selection of classes so large I am able to get a great workout at a level that I can do. I started out at lower levels and have worked myself up to much harder classes. My biggest gripe is the way they recently put the benches and weight racks. It makes no sense and really makes it hard to get and put away weights and also theres way less benches now. It is really not efficient or enjoyable to workout on upper body day.
