Have you ever met someone and just knew that they're going to be fun? That was Bobby! We met Bobby at the Bridal Expo and instantly hit it off. Bobby was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, Bobby had a great vibe. My husband and I are very different (he, a selective introvert and me, a social butterfly), yet, Bobby connected with the both of us. In the end, we hired Bobby to be our DJ and MC for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made! After making official contact with Bobby, things couldn't have gone any smoother. A few weeks before our wedding, Bobby emailed us an Excel spreadsheet to prep for the big day- I appreciated this because it showed that he was organized and made an effort to put our needs first. He asked us to provide a list of songs that must be played, but we ran out of time. Instead, we gave him a theme (the 90s-2000s pop/hip hop/r&b) and he played all the songs that we loved. Even better, our dance floor was never empty! Bobby went above and beyond with his service- he made it a point to come to our rehearsal dinner so he could scope out the venue. He made sure the venue had the outlets he needed, where we would set up, where he could park, etc. He even stayed after to discuss lighting at the venue and ways to make it better. I could tell he wanted to be prepared and was willing to put in the extra time and effort to ensure he was as prepared as he could be. For our big day, we had two special requests for Bobby- 1) find/play two popular Thai songs (crowd favorites at traditional Mien weddings) and 2) carve time at the end of the reception for an intimate last dance- and he was able to deliver on both! I was planning my wedding a couple months ago and I had to search for a Dj. I started communicating with a Dj but within 2 months he flaked. I had a short amount of time to find one. We had interviewed a number of DJs and while I am sure they are good at why they do, their asking price was pretty steep for what they offered. One DJ had a "holier than thou" attitude and when we declined they showed us out the back door. So being between a rock and a hard spot we went through a bag of cards and fliers we had collected at a bridal expo. His ultimate goal is to provide exceptional service and to make everything run seamlessly on your big day. I got married at Scott's Seafood on the river and there were multiple different locations where music needed to be played because the ceremony was outside along the water and the reception was in the tent backed to the river. Same location but different set ups. He handled it no problem! Also the equipment and sound quality is A+. He also provided custom lighting and monogram wording that lights up with the newly weds initials, names or whatever custom option you choose providing the final touch to what most consider one of the biggest if not the biggest day of their lives. But beside from all the equipment it's really his personality and customer eccentric demeanor that sold me. I can't tell you how many emails back and forth we had going trying to get all the songs and ordering down to a T. From the music the bridal party walked down the isle to, to the music I walked down the isle to with my dad, to the closing ceremony music, to cocktail hour music, to the bridal/groom party reception intro music, to the newlywed intro music, to the newlyweds first dance, the mother/son dance, father/daughter dance and just the overall playlist we wanted played the rest of the evening while we danced the night away with our guests. I mean this stuff takes time, effort and a lot of attention to detail... DYNAMIKsoundz nailed it with ease. Bobby was amazing from our first phone conversation leading up to the wedding and bringing it all together on the day of. He was super easy to work with and was a HUGE help with my timeline. On the day of, there were some last minute changes to the timeline in order to get sunset photos, and he had no problem rolling with the punches and assisting with the needed changes.
