I had to pick up my 2 young kids from South Beach, and that wasn't possible with a moving van without car seats!! I tried to call the office, it went straight to an automated and to top it off, I couldn't even leave a voicemail. I called the main line of the U-Haul service center, and only they were able to provide me with a 24 hour emergency phone number for this U-Haul location. I called this locations emergency number and unwillingly they came back to open up the gates. I rented fourth times now a U-Haul van in only 6 weeks and then this experience! Clean facility, nice people working there…read more However, they don't send you receipts, and refuse to email them to you. This is unfortunate as I am on the other side of the country and this is a business expense. Surely a storage unit deals with people that aren't local all the time, why have such a ridiculous policy about receipts? And don't give me "It's a safety concern" because a little common sense would deduce there isn't much of a risk of emailing a receipt for a storage unit. These aren't airplanes.

After putting down her things, she immediately took care of me. The car I reserved had less than a half tank of gas so she upgraded me. I walked out with the keys around 8:10. I didn't get a "walk-around" so I made sure to do that and take pics before I drove away. So far, I'm happy.
