I really debated writing this because I hate writing bad reviews, but I just don't want anyone else experiencing what I did. During the summer, I came here to go from natural to blonde again. No issues, looked great. On October 4, 2018 however, my hair got completely destroyed. I came in for a root-touch up and came home with damaged beyond repair hair. I had mid-lower back length hair and now it is falling out to just a few inches off my scalp. The entire bottom part of my head is now 2-3 inches in length. I've lost a tremendous amount of volume and hair. Its brittle and falling out/breaking off at an alarming rate. To add to this, the top part of my hair is unevenly colored. I've consulted with other hair stylists and they all concluded with the fact that I'm in a bad place. In all my years of being blonde, I've never had this issue before. I can't even go out anymore without noticing how much of my hair is gone. Its embarrassing and a huge shot to my confidence. I understand people make mistakes, but this is something that I trusted the salon with. They did not make me pay for this service and even offered to fix it at a later date, however the money I'll be spending for a long time on revival products and probably even wigs to get back on track won't compare. read more

my experience overall was completely horrible I never in all my life has been treated and looked so humiliating and all my life even after I expressed concerns halfway through the procedure no one did anything as the lady who was presently doing my hair had absolutely no training if any at all my hair looks extremely terrible. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they more than guaranteed me this could be done without any problem after six hours of sitting in the chair it just became from bad to worse literally I was in tears I have never in all my years had somebody messed my hair up so badly and now I need to figure out how to fix it. if I could give them a negative start I would but I have to get at least one so that this can be reviewed on their website I highly highly recommend they do not go there I don't want and wish this upon anyone else they do not know what they're doing when it comes to hair. read more

This place is not worth it. I came in for a full color ( I had black and called to make sure they can dye it light honey brown.) They assured me they could. When I went in the stylist dyed my hair at the washing station. She didn't tell me what was going on or kept me updated. Fiver hours later, I had 3 different colors in my hair none of which were the light brown I wanted (they were dark brown/blonde.) There was a big blotch of dark brown at the top of my head and the rest was awful. She charged me $215 (I've never paid this much for a full color before.) I asked her why it's so much when it was not the color I wanted. She told me it would fade into it after a couple weeks and to come back if not so she could fix it. I did not go back and had to cut most of it off bc it was so damaged and my usual curls are all gone. Do not come here!! read more

Today, I asked Loan for blonde highlights as always but with just a few strawberry blonde highlights mixed in. I showed her a picture so she would understand the look I was going for. I ended up with tons of ORANGE/RED thick highlights all throughout my hair!! It looks sooo bad! I told her it was not what I asked her to do and asked her if it could be fixed. Not only did she not fix my hair, she charged me full price for my visit even though she messed up my hair. She even laughed at me and said "You look depressed". DEPRESSED?! Try EMBARASSED to show my face in public!! I'm shocked that after being a loyal customer for over a year that this is how I was treated. Follow up to my prior review. I tried to get a refund for horrible haircut and partial highlights and they refused. Made excuses that the hairdresser was not used to working with long hair even though when I called to schedule my appointment I specified that I had hair down to my waist and I needed somebody who knew how to work with it. They also said my hair wasn't straight which is why my cut was crooked but I straightened my hair prior to going in and the hairdresser even straightened a few of the ends because they had started to curl up. I spent three hours there and I refuse to go back because of how horrible the first job was done. They have such poor customer service that they cannot issue a refund. read more

I'm impressed! Travis did my hair and got it to the ash brown color that I wanted. He sure took his time and made sure I was satisfied before letting me leave the salon. Not only that, the gals at the salon were super friendly. Tina and another gal was helping Travis put foil on my hair to speed up the process. Talk about teamwork. I showed up on time for my 2 pm appointment, but the stylist didn't start working on it until about 3. In total it took 5 and a half hours for a double process hair color and half of my head and a botched trim. My hair used to come down to my lower back and I asked her to trim it to my mid waist. It's at shoulder length right now. This was only my second time bleaching ever and my hair is completely fried. my sister has bleached her hair at other salons over 6 times and her hair feels more like hair than mine. my roots aren't even completely bleached in the back. the hair color is extremely uneven. i asked for an ash blond but she did a silver grey that doesn't even cover the bleached areas. i am very frustrated with my experience. nothing was as i requested and i feel scammed. I paid $210 plus tip. read more

I think this place is good to have in the neighborhood. The lady did a really good job on cutting my hair when I just walked in without an appointment or anything. I liked the massaging hair wash chair, that was pleasant. The products were good too, by Aveda, and they smelled good. Sadly I don't know the name of the lady who cut my hair but I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she basically replicated it. Overall it was good but it would be nice if the lady could speak better English so we could understand each other better. The method of cutting I wanted that I showed in the photo was cut straight across in tiers basically that's the best way of putting it. I didn't want my hair sheered at an angle like it was. I called the salon asking how much for a trim on my side bang and split ends. One of the stylist said $25 without shampoo and condition. So, I went in after work. The stylist had to straighten my hair since it was tangled up before she could cut it. Her skills are there I give her that. I like the cut and all, but when is time to pay the manager or owner was like is going to be $35. I told her the stylist said it would only be $25. Then she was like oh well she had to straighten your hair. I was just over it and said ok that's fine. I even tipped them. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying more and of course I have the money. I spent much more than that before, but don't tell me is going to be a certain amount then later charge me something I wasn't aware of. Also, cmon now $10 extra just to straighten my hair? I could have just straighten my hair myself then come in for a hair cut if I would have known that shoot. Overall, I am satisfy with my haircut but probably won't be coming back. read more

I went here for the first time this week and loved it!! This gem is hidden in the Kroger complex and I pass by it daily. For a small hair salon in Carrollton it is very neat and clean. I was very impressed that the stylists dress professionally. They have a private area for waxing and facials which is very nice. It is a professional studio and everyone was so nice. I will be completely honest and say my pet peeve about trying small salons in Carrollton is going in and having the employees speak to each other in another language in front of me. Speaking as someone who is bilingual i find it very rude. THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM HERE. They made appropriate small talk with me and i really appreciated the kindness. I went in for a blow out and and style which came out great. The next day i went back for a 1 hour and fifteen minute exfoliating facial for $65 dollars. It was so relaxing and the price was very impressive. The only reason i didn't give this salon 5 stars is because i felt like the facial room should have dimmed lighting and I wish it had been a bit more sound proofed. But for monthly haircuts and affordable treats i think that this is a great place to go and it will be my go to place from now on!! read more

Would that I could give no stars. Worst haircut ever. About half way through I could tell it was going wrong and by that time I just wanted to leave. Perhaps I should have. I do not know the woman's name, she did not introduce herself. She was rushed, didn't listen to what I asked for; she just hacked away. I am forever mad at this hair salon. I recently moved to this area from another state, so I lost my hair person and had to start from scratch. I went driving around, and without an appointment, dynamix was the only Salon that had an opening. That should have been my first clue. The hair dresser spoke very choppy English and was hard to understand. We flipped through a hair color book to find a dark brown, found the one, she went back to mix it.... When everything was complete, I had the worst haircut of my life - - she made really short layers in my long hair. It was mullet-like. And worse yet, the color was strawberry blonde... Not a brown at all.... And certainly not dark brown. And she still charged me over $100. Ridiculous. I'm still paying for this mistake months later as my short layers try to play catch up. And I'm getting married in less than a year. Not good. Don't go here. Literally go anywhere else. read more

Tina is the best hair stylist I have ever found and I have used quite a few. She is excellent with color, cut, etc. I have recommended her to so many people. She's very friendly and knowledgeable. Prior to going to her I never dyed my hair. I kept it my natural black. The first time I went to hair she convinced me to get highlights.
