Just another card shark shop. Local disappointment. Been hearing a lot about this place around town and decided to check it out today. What a disappointment. The only thing the store has going for it is the space and nice ladies up front. Everybody else that works here is a complete neck beard who couldn't care less about helping you. Low stock and high prices. I brought a collection with older c Brought in around 40 cards, mostly LP with some minty and a few MP, with a total TCGPlayer estimate of roughly $1,950. Nothing I brought in was valued under $20. After taking over an hour to sort through everything, they picked out 25 cards they were interested in, removing them from the top loaders and sleeves in the process. Their trade-in offer for those 25 cards was $380. They passed on the remaining 15 because they were either considered too damaged or too low in value, despite about half of those being the cards closest to the $20 range. I politely declined the offer. What bothered me more than the low offer was what happened afterward. The employee simply handed everything back to me unsleeved and out of the top loaders and told me I could put them all back myself. After spending over an hour evaluating my cards, I thought that was pretty disrespectful. While I was resleeving and loading everything back up, I tried making conversation and asking questions about the shop, their pricing, and what they typically look for when buying cards. They seemed completely uninterested and were more focused on talking about a female employee who had just come in, including comments about her dress code. The whole interaction came across as unprofessional and honestly pretty gross. I understand that card shops need margins and I never expected anywhere close to full TCGPlayer value. I also understand passing on cards because of condition or value. That's part of the business. But between the $380 offer, handing my collection back unsleeved for me to repack myself, and the overall attitude afterward, I left with a very poor impression of the shop. I have to say I am disappointed with this place. I went by last week since I saw the ad about them buying bulk cards etc. , and I understood going in that I would get the lowest price possible but I wasn't interested in money just credit. Long story short we didn't come to a deal which was ok and I purchased a few raw cards I liked. That day I saw a very expensive raw card that I wanted for my PC, which is very modest as I'm a new collector and don't have anything crazy. I did a little research as it would be my first big Pokémon card purchase for a single card. Laughable for some but for regular guys like me that works a 9-5, with 4 kids and is willing to spend real money on something like this, that is trying to get into the hobby as a newbie & trying to find something to do with his son while they're in different states. Sorry for the back story but it really bothers me with what happened. Fast forward today I called the shop to ask if they still had the said card available and asked what their best deal will be and told them that I saw the same card, even graded in eBay but I rather deal with them as they are local. The card price was $156 so I offered them $140 as that was the price of the one I was looking at on eBay with proof of the listing and trusted seller. The young lady that helped me over the phone, which was sweet, said she'd have to ask her boss and I said ok. Came back and said "no unfortunately they are stuck at $156!" I didn't argue with them or anything just said thank you. You may ask what's bad about this?! Now let this sink in, a place that is suppose to be a place for collectors new and old to come in and find cards to help them complete their collection while still making a profit and run a successful business says no to a $16 difference! A real cash offer for a customer that had already spent money the week before on raw cards and was willing to continue to go there and bring his kid during the summer when he has him to make more memories and add to his collection. I left 3 stars because the staff is friendly and the shop is very well organized and put together but after this interaction they lost a customer and I will make sure other "beginner" collectors know the truth about shops like this. The greed is insane and overpricing of products makes hobbies like this one not enjoyable anymore. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this really bothered me to the core, especially stating you're a collectors haven and treat your customers unfairly and like if their business doesn't even matter. So egotistical and rude! Did not feel welcome and was immediately brushed off. Poor selection and expensive prices.

Decent people not the greatest not the worst and great selection of product and for the most part is priced at market value but i just cant support a store that charges market price for a brand new set on release day. Especially when there is another card shop that does do msrp pre orders not too far away. At the very least offer pre orders at msrp or the option to have the product unsealed if purchased at msrp. Also have to note they sounded kind of bothered when I asked about if the new set would be at msrp as if it is some unreasonable insane question to ask. Its insane wanting to charge market for a set on its release day! read more

The new shop is great and the staff are always friendly. Their collection of classic games grows every day, and I've found plenty of gems. They've also started expanding into stocking graded Pokemon cards as well as sealed product. I'm also always pleased to find better prices here than a lot of the competing classic games stores in the area! read more
