And when you call to complain, they LIE stating the person who hired them told them to do that. Expérience très décevante. Le contrat prévoyait 2 déménageurs, mais à notre insu, le nombre a été modifié à la main pour passer à 3, sans notre consentement ni nos initiales. Résultat : une facture de 3 200 $ au lieu des ~1 500 $ qui nous avaient été annoncés verbalement -- soit plus du double. Le paiement a été exigé sur place, nos biens étant dans le camion, ce qui ne nous a laissé aucun choix. STAY AWAY from them! ... Worst moving company!... Their movers are weak, inexperienced and lacking adequate training on how to properly move furniture, and how to show adequate respect to client's objects. The movers decided my Italian-leather Italy-imported sofa was too complex to wrap prior to moving, and I was too distracted in another room of the house to see that they started moving the set without protection... And of course dropped the sofa on the cement ruining the leather ... Although Transport Transat was proud to sell me their service based on the fact that it came with a warranty, they omitted to mention that claims would be rejected if the value was less than $500 and somehow estimated that the $6,000 ruined sofa set was valued at less than $500. No basis for how they established this value, no empathy to the terrible job they did... Not even a "we're sorry"! This is probably the 6th review on this site - all of them giving this company a 1 star... If you ask me, a ZERO is more fitting of their service level. RESTEZ LOIN D'EUX ! ... Bien que Transport Transat ait été fière de me vendre son service sur la base du fait qu'il était accompagné d'une garantie, ils ont omis de mentionner que les réclamations seraient rejetées si la valeur était inférieure à 500 $ et a estimé d'une manière ou d'une autre que le set de sofa de 6 000$, maintenant rendu en ruine, était évalué à moins de 500 $. Aucune base pour la façon dont ils ont établi cette valeur, aucune empathie pour le travail terrible qu'ils ont fait ... Pas même un " nous sommes désolés " ! These guys are a joke - they were moving in a neighbour of mine and blocking my car. When I tried to get the movers attention ( while they were screaming at each other inside the truck after patiently waiting ) one of the movers told me to fuck off and speak his language ( I spoke in English ) he was super aggressive and continued to yell at me . I took a pic of the side of his truck to call the company and advise them of the kind of people they have working for them ( something I never do - but given how crazy and unprofessional this guy was over something so small - I felt the company should know who they are employing especially when in other people's homes . ) the mover then threatened me .... when I called the head office they told me they don't speak English and unless I can speak in their language then she can't help me ... so ya .. super professional !!! read more
