Pooh and I were looking for movers on Yelp and the first one that appeared on the list was ASAP Movers. All contact was done via email and the responses were professional, and friendly and response time was speedy. On the day of the move, one of the three movers contacted us and told us they would arrive at a certain time and they were right on time! I'm very bad with names but there were three young whipper snippers who moved our belongings quickly, and just how they handled everything we knew we were in great hands. - Before you trust their "5-star Google reviews" and their superficial brand image, please read below. - What happened to me, might happen to you too. PS: A lot of their "5-star Google reviews" are suspicious: - Many of them are from accounts that only have 1 review, and those different accounts somehow posted similar content. - More importantly, ASAP Moving and Transport themselves, have accounts with fake names called "Sew Kits" on Google, speaking on their behalf. - I had interactions with ASAP Moving and Transport Inc., in specific Jason Fougere (manager) and Alexander Kostiuk (owner), both had multiple dishonest behaviours. -They always appeared to be the nicest people with their verbal politeness, and previously I was fooled by them too. Yet, after I found out they made mistakes, I also found out their true colours. - Not only ASAP Moving and Transport never admitted their mistakes, they were playing wording and blaming games, pushing responsibilities away, finding excuses, making promises but never fulfill, and even straight up lying. - Some of the stories they said were so fake - they even self-conflict! - I do not understand why ASAP Moving and Transport thought they could get away with lying after making mistakes, because lying will never help a business, it will only destroy a business. - Once their credibility is damaged, it cannot be fixed. - After all the lies, ASAP Moving and Transport still chose to self-proclaim "diligent and honest" and kept on lying, providing false and partial information to avoid responsibility. - Clearly, they have no regret for lying. - In Canada, we have no room for liars. - I highly suggest you to choose another moving company who is at least honest with their consumers. There are many other companies who are competent and actually place integrity ahead of money. - You can try a moving company who is in the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) - ASAP Moving and Transport is not even in it. read more

Everything went smoothly! I booked our time slot via Yelp, and a week before the move, I called to make sure that we were confirmed for that date. Alex kept in touch and was a pleasure to work with. Alex and his colleague, Vlad, were very professional, efficient, and extremely fast with the moving. Even when we had an oddly shaped storage space to put all of our stuff into, they never complained about it and were very good sports. ASAP Moving's rates are the most competitive. I contacted 5 other moving companies for rates, and ASAP's was the most affordable. The total price we paid for was not what we had in mind, but with moving, it's hard to estimate the number of hours you'll have at the end. I hope we don't have to call these guys again, because moving is painful and I hate it, but when we do move again in the future, these guys would be the go-to. Highly recommended! read more

They lived up to the name: the whole thing took less time than I had anticipated (moving from a third floor to a third floor of typical Montreal buildings with those lovely winding staircases outside) AND no damage was done either to my things or the buildings. Plus the arranging was efficient even though I had to change the time twice. I wish the price came cheaper but it was all worth it. I would definitely recommend them to everyone! read more

Words can't even express how satisfied we are with ASAP! This is our 3rd time using moving companies and by far this was the smoothest, fastest and safest move we've ever experienced. Juice, Wolf and Eric were amazing, very friendly, joyful and professional from their morning greeting to their afternoon goodbye! They removed any stress we've ever had in any of our other moves! They wrapped our stuff so good that we never even worried. In the past, we've been told "the TV is a risk, you sure you don't want to bring it yourself?" These guys helped move me back in November, from downtown to the Plateau. Emailed and confirmed with Eric who responded very quickly. Polite, efficient, and timely. Andy and his team were really good and kept me up to date on the status of the move. There are things you can do to help have a better experience: I suggest U-Haul boxes if you do the packing (optimized box sizes for moves); and make sure that you reserve parking for their truck either at the street or the building. read more

My husband and I just moved to Montreal from California. We had a 28 foot long truck with stuff that had come a very long way. We hired 4 movers from ASAP Moving & Transport to help us unload as quickly as possible. I'm so glad we did - Frank and his team were sent to help us, and they were AWESOME! The day kicked off with a nerve wracking morning thanks to our truck having trouble parking. Even though we had reserved the space professionally with towing signs, there were cars that still hadn't moved. It took the truck over an hour to finally be able to park. Frank's team didn't bat an eye. They were patient, joked with us while we waited to help us not stress too much, assisted the driver in getting parked, and even helped us with some papers from the truck company when we didn't speak enough French to understand the issue. Frank's team unloaded the truck in about 2 hours, which was amazing considering the size of it. They got everything inside in good condition and treated it all respectfully. Nothing was broken, and they moved things downstairs and around corners without damaging either our stuff or the walls. Throughout the move they were great company - kept cracking jokes and making us laugh during what could have been a really stressful day - and moved quickly to get the job done in record time. We are so, so grateful for their help, will recommend them to others, and will be hiring them again if/when we move in the future! read more

Nothing but good things to say about this company and the people that work for it. Reservation was an easy process, they showed up on time and made my move a breeze. Hard working efficient guys, wrapped up everything carefully, disassembled the required furniture and put everything back together as needed. Nothing was broken, everything was handled diligently, and they helped me put felt pads on the incoming furniture to protect the floor of the new place. An awful experience! I had hired movers to pack up and move things from a couple rooms in the dorm to my apartment because I was quarantined. They dropped off the stuff at my apartment but failed to mention that they only packed up one room versus the three I had specifically requested. After unpacking the boxes I had realized that half the things in my room were left behind and they had brought furniture from my dorm I clearly said to leave. While trying to sort this out, I was told that I would have to pay more on top of what I had already paid to get the rest of my stuff out. They also said that they would get back to me with a solution but they are no longer answering my call. read more

Asap is a misnomer, steadily easy going is probably a better name. Initially reserved with a guy named Alex. He quickly responded and we reserved for a Wednesday. Confirmed by email. Moving furniture and appliances. We reserved for 2pm with a window for arrival between 1 and 4pm. At 3:51 I received the first call from the movers saying they just finished their last job, they need to break for lunch then they'd head over. At 4:50 when they hadn't arrived or called, i called Alex who called the movers after we got off the phone. The movers called, apologized and said they were stuck in traffic. They arrived and started working at 530. They were clearly exhausted from their last job. They were polite and as friendly as fatigued humans can reasonably be. They were not fast they were steady. They wrapped everything and took their time doing it. They had one guy running back and forth for the first 15 minutes. I then said I'd go save their parking space at the new place two buildings down the street. They then worked at a steady pace. They took their breaks. They carried light loads. I helped them to try to get them to work faster. They took 4 hours to move the load half a block. I used VIP Express last time and they moved the same amount across town in 3.5 hours. They also cost 2/3 as much. The kicker? They charged 100 bucks for the truck even though they showed up 1.5 hours after the end of their quoted window. 135 an hour for 3 movers but only 2 did any actual work at any given time. Nothing broke, and the movers were good at their job. I think their boss might have overbooked them. Tl;dr professional movers who won't damage anything likely becuase they take their time. They can't be trusted to arrive on time, and they are pretty expensive given the service. read more

nice group of guys they seem to be in good sync with one another and were trust worthy, respectful (even took their shoes off to come in carpeted rooms) since i had the elevator booked for a small window in my new building, time was important to me and they were accommodating to my schedule and the buildings elevator schedule. Highly recommend these guys! After being unbelievably stressed about moving while being 8 months pregnant, these guys couldn't have made it more easy and stress free. They brought me boxes 2 weeks before the move so I could start packing, VERY helpful. The movers who arrived were hilarious and kept me laughing even though I was super stressed. The manager even called the superintendent at my new building when we had a problem with the booking time for the elevator. Overall excellent experience :) read more

Well, the stuff has been delivered and all is well! I cannot recommend these folks strongly enough. I was planning the move from out of town and went with ASAP because a) they were movers and storage combined and b) Jason was very very reassuring on the phone when I called for information. Thanks Jason F. The movers were on time (ish), efficient, patient, skilled, courteous, careful, knowledgeable and professional. The price was market equivalent when you have to move in June. (Try not to do this). I was concerned about the storage and could not make it to the unload so they sent me a pic of the stuff in storage to ease my concern. They scheduled a delivery date almost as soon as I requested it and we're very quick to book. The gentlemen who delivered to the new place were equally charming and agreeable and everything arrived intact when they said it would. They reassembled the desk, settled the bill and were gone quickly. Several payment options were offered. Highly recommend not moving, but when you have to, these people will get it done for you. ASAP is as good as it gets. They arrived pretty much on time, but finished early. I could not believe how quickly and smoothly everything went. Vlad and the other two guys (I cannot remember their names) carefully wrapped furniture and fragile items. They were polite and professional. Communications were clear and the price was reasonable.
