The animals are fed grass and other feed but not soy or corn. While I was browsing in the store, customers kept coming in to buy the milk. Apparently the cows are calving and can't be milked for two weeks so they have a temporary halt on selling milk. That is kinda sweet. Another lady was saying she could not get over the taste on the chicken breasts. I do remember the chicken comes from a farm near Dover, Florida. So I bought a dozen eggs which were large sized and had a brown shell. While more than organic store brand they were very fresh. I also bought a couple pieces of chicken and it did have a great taste. The Burlap and Barrel spices I love were the same prices I pay online without a shipping charge. This is a cute clean store. The owner told me the building is older and was previously a duplex and a pawn shop. I said I wondered why you had the bars on the windows "like someone is going to make off with your steaks." Haha.
