I'm a Program Director at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA. We run 4 basketball seasons per-year and E & E does our trophies, team pictures and player pictures. We couldn't be happier with their service and results. They always arrive on time and stay on schedule during picture days. The pictures and trophies are always nice quality. No fuss, no problems, no hassles. Their consistency is important to us, but what I appreciate most is their flexibility and willingness to help out. They provide a complementary picture plaque for each of our volunteer coaches, they replace pictures free of charge when our families occasionally lose or damage their pictures, they are happy to do what they can to help whenever we call them with a request. In my position, working with unreliable or low quality vendors can be such a frustrating waste of time. That is why I really appreciate having E & E work with us as a partner in providing a great basketball league experience for our families. read more

I never received a photo/plaque order from my son's previous season. So when it was time to take photos this season I was told they would rectify the situation the situation. I then received photos from the previous season but still no plaque. I called requesting a refund and am told that there's a 30 refund policy that had passed on something I never received?! So I said can you provide me with a 2nd plaque for the inconvenience and was told no because I didn't order one. Then I was told the issue was in the packing department where people were recently fired for bad work which I thought was unprofessional. I try to support small businesses but if this is how you treat your customers I'll just print my photos at walgreens and plaques off Amazon going forward read more

I ordered pictures multiple times and there were errors with my orders each time. Even after reprints, the issues were not fixed. I was promised a refund and told I didn't need to return the photos, but almost a year later I still haven't received it. Very disappointed with the service for the price paid. read more

The park my son plays soccer at uses E&e sports photography. when my son took his pictures, I placed an order and my son's dad placed a separate order. However only one order came in. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The City of Montebello seriously needs to reconsider their partnership with E&E Photography for youth sports. Picture Day for Spring Soccer was an absolute disaster. Hundreds of kids running around, parents taking time off work and rearranging schedules--all for a chaotic and poorly organized photo session. The younger kids especially require more direction and care, which was completely lacking. Instead of using the outdoor field (which would make sense for soccer), the photos were taken in a cramped indoor room with a cheap fake stadium background--clearly something bought off Amazon. The setup was uninspired and made no effort to match the spirit of the sport. Each team waited over an hour just for a quick 5-minute team and individual shoot. We walked into a side room that looked like a mess: papers scattered all over the floor, tables cluttered, and no signage or direction. Not a single staff member greeted us or provided instructions. Parents and kids were left wandering, confused and frustrated. To make matters worse, the staff was dismissive and unprofessional. When I approached the table after already waiting an hour, I was met with, "We're really behind. Yeah, we can't take your picture yet. I don't even have your team's envelope." That, after I was told by other staff to go in for photos and asked to pay an extra $35 for a photo package that supposedly should have been covered by registration. The whole experience felt like waiting at a disorganized county office. Poor service, zero communication, and additional charges? Totally unacceptable. I highly recommend the City of Montebello consider switching to a more professional, local photography company that can offer a smoother, respectful experience to families who are already making a big effort to be involved in their children's activities. read more

Just left the park for our team photos and had no problem taking photos. Staff is always so great and super nice. Love how organized she is and just how professional. Not sure what the deal is with the other reviews on here since I've been a loyal customer for over 6 years at our park in Wilmington, CA and we've NEVER had a problem. Its always a pleasure seeing her and catching up. Its crazy how well she remembers all the kids by name considering she only sees them about 2 to 3 times a year for photos. This summer my kids played their first season of basketball for our local YMCA center. We were told that there would be a picture day and we were excited that we'd be able to give out pictures to our friends and family. Well, picture day came and we quickly started to have reservations about it all. First, the prices and the packages offered were ridiculous. So expensive for very little product. Went with the $25 package that came with 1 team photo, 1 3x5, 4 wallets and a photo button. The photographer was a young male and from the looks of it, his equipment which consisted of just a camera (nothing for white balancing etc) only had the zoom kit lens that comes with the camera. Cheap. Not even anything high quality for the amount they charge. He lined up the kids quickly outside. Now, idk if they didn't have access to the inside of the gym to take decent pictures but it was high noon and he had them positioned against a random exterior wall. Then the guy took like 1 or 2 pics max of the kids individually and the angle didn't seem that great. I was super concerned about all the natural light plus the flash. I was almost positive the pictures would be pretty bad. Then when it was time for the team photo which consisted of about eight 7-8 year olds... he took one picture. ONE. With a group of young kids! Even if you're the best photographer in the world, take a few more, the camera is digital man! And that was that. I cringed as my kids walked back. When I finally received the final product is was worse than I expected. All the pictures were blurry and low quality. The lighting indeed made it worse. And to top it off, the print on the team photo lists the age group. They got it wrong. Apparently my kids are 5-6. Worst photography service I've ever encountered. I played sports in HS and my pictures, although many years ago, are scores better. I would not recommend anyone to use this service. I say just line them up yourself and use the camera on your phone. To the Owner, What your staff did to me on 11/9/2019 was very unprofessional. She embarrassed and humiliated me in front of my son and the whole team demanding that I NOT take a picture of my own son. She claims that is your policy. So it's your policy that you can take a picture of my son and sell it to make money, and I the dad can NOT take a picture of my own son. Well I have a disabled daughter that can NOT walk. My wife can't make it to the game because she has to take care of my daughter. All I wanted was a picture for my wife to see. Then after I was humiliated, I walked away. I came back to talk to your staff and she ignored me and walked behind a closed door. She didn't say anything to me at all and just walked away. Your staff sure had a loud voice when she demanded I NOT take a picture. So since she decided she does NOT want to talk to me, I had to contact the City, the Mayor, and the council man. Your staff should NOT be demanding in a public park area that parents can NOT take a picture of their own child. You can demand that in your own private picture studio, but NOT in a public park. I ran the Santa Monica YMCA youth sports leagues for 10 years until my recent retirement. E and E bent over backwards to take care of us and our quirky scheduling needs. They stayed all day and were very friendly and professional every time, three times a year. If there was EVER a problem with ANY order, they took care of it no questions asked, and even gave us extra copies of a league-wide panorama picture for our office. Delivered finished product to us in plenty of time for distribution at post-season banquet time. Highly recommend. AND they were so good, we even hired them to come and take our summer camp picture up in Big Bear! read more

Amazing people!!!! E & E Sports Photography graciously came out to RSM on Friday to take our challenger teams football pics. Monica was a doll! There were about 26 special needs kiddos, with their families & siblings & Monica couldn't have been more incredible if she tried! She was professional, patient, sweet, & more then accommodating! The kiddos loved her! Gil....you are amazing! You have made us special needs mama's so happy! We can't wait to have our 1st ever football buttons of our super stars! Photographer showed up an 1 late (he did call to mention a flat tire), which screwed up the schedule of the league by pushing everyone's time back. It was the photographer chosen by the Y to take photos for our soccer team. Today we received the photos. The photos came out very poor; blurry faces, bad lighting, shadows, off-colored. I mentioned to my wife how our phones take far better pictures. The fact that we paid money for these photos makes it worse; as a photographer should know Photo 101. Any person can plainly see, these pictures are horrible quality. read more

At the top of their order forms it states to call if any discrepancies. I called because my son's soccer team photos were all mixed up. Each team member's photos had the wrong names & wrong jersey numbers printed with another player's face on them. The manager was so rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain what happened. Management is very unprofessional and don't own up for their mistakes. They told me I couldn't come to the studio because they "aren't open to the public". I just wanted to return the wrong photos for the correct ones. This photo studio had already took our team's money, gave us the wrong products and then gave us a hard time correcting it. My son is bi-racial and in identifying the children in the photos the manager referred to my son as "the colored child" in the pictures! Seriously? read more

Very disappointed to receive my son's pictures and trophy at our last game of the season today only to receive a trophy with my son's face all scratched up on it. Way to really screw up a kid's and parents first sports trophy presentation memory! On a taem of 12, 3 people had messed up trophies. Do the math.....not a risk worth taking. Horrible experience and I wish I could give a lower star rating. Saturday was already going to be a very busy day for me with my son needing to get his soccer picture taken, and then drive over for my other son's First Communion starting at 9:30am. As a parent, I didn't want to disappoint and want to make sure I could juggle this challenging schedule. Parents, I am sure that many of you have all been faced with a tight schedule, am I right? I was told that my son and his team would be photographed at 8:50am, so when I came by to pick him up at 9:05am, I was told by the other parents that the photographer was already running behind and his team was not even photographed yet? I approached the photographer, explained my situation and timeline if my son could be quickly take his picture and she said, "of course,...but after I finish taking all these other kids pictures." and turned her back to me and went back to work. (The line was at least 10-12 kids long.) I asked her again, and asked her to please reconsider, seeing that I did not have a moment to spare and this was for a very special occasion. She shot back a dirty look and said that all these other kids have been already waiting too and that she will get to me when she can. RUDE!! She never once took time to think about my needs as a paying customer or to at least just consider my request. I would totally understand if a large group of parents were all standing around, making demands for their kids to go first, but I was one Dad that needed to take one picture and then get him changed for mass and on our way to my other son's Communion. One picture. I decided I could not wait and decided to leave. As I walked away, I could hear her to start to rant about my request, and voice her opinions on this situation to other parents, which have nothing to do with my personal request with her. I didn't once raise my voice towards her or share my disappointment with the fact that she was running behind the schedule, or in her decisions on not taking my son's picture. However, she has the nerve to talk about me, behind my back as I walk away, shows me ZERO CLASS and ZERO customer service! Show some empathy! I will NEVER purchase a photo from them and I truly hope that this complaint, as well as the many others that I see on here, that also speak to the low quality, tardiness and her negative attitude towards paying customers, helps other Orange County sports teams choose another company. read more

E&E is great! Tawnya is so friendly and helpful and Gil will make sure to get the date you need for your league schedule. They double check their work and make sure it's right, but, mistakes happen and when they do, they're quick to fix it and send what you need. Worst photographers ever! Our league used this photography company for our soccer pictures. When I received the pictures, they were extremely blurry, and had little spots of light all over the pictures. I could have taken better photos with a polaroid camera! If that wasn't bad enough, when I called to complain about my pictures and attempt to resolve my grievance, I never received a call back. I have been running youth programs for thousands of kids for 15 years. There are a lot of sports photography companies out there. What do I look for? Professionalism, ability to work with kids and PARENTS from all different backgrounds, cleanliness, caring, patience, leadership from the photographer. What do I look for when my photographs arrive? Very few mistakes, great organization of the packages, awesome looking photos. E and E Sports Photography provides all of the above. Tawnya, our photographer, was awesome. I usually have so much going on during the program, and she took the lead and I never had to worry. Parents praised her patience, her ability to get the kids organized, and her staff. They work fast but get the shot. Then, when the packages arrives, they were organized by team, with trophies, labeled and securing packages. The company delivered a day early. Never again! My daughter got her picture taken on March/15/2015 and for some reason the pictures went missing. I called E & E and they said to talk to the coach (which I did) and to talk to the KIS (which I did). My daughter pictures were never received from neither the coach or KIS. It's funny because E & E made it seem like it was somebody else's fault. All I know is I payed for the whole packet and I didn't receive what I payed for. Fast forward 3 months and the E &E Photography still couldn't find the pictures or give me a respond. Weeks later E & E "found" the pictures and send them to me by mail. I got the pictures alright. But it was the wrong girl!!!!! So I called back and I finally got to talk to the Supervisor from E & E and I was so surprised to the way she was talking to me. She was very rude and disrespectful like if it was my fault they couldn't get or find the pictures. She was talking to me in a fast away, like if I was bugging her or something. I don't know I just found it so rude and so un-businesslike to be that way towards me when they are the ones who didn't do their job right. I just don't get it. Well finally the pictures were found and printed. I just received them today. I open the package and the pictures are just horrible. I don't know if the lady did it on purpose but the pictures have too much contrast. So yeah, well atleast I received them...4 months late but I did. read more

I ordered a package of photos for my son (basketball league). I ordered sports cards in addition to the package (paid over $45) When I received my cards, my son's name was misspelled in the back (they were fine in front). I called E&E to advise of the error and the lady that I spoke was a bit short and not friendly at all. I provided her the info and then she asked me to return the cards so that they can fix them. I then asked her if I was going to be responsible for the shipping since it was not my mistake and she said "well I can't fix them if you don't send them back". At no time, did she offer an apology for the inconvenience and I explained to her how it was their mistake and I was being inconvenienced and asked if I would then be applied some sort of discount. After going back in forth with her, I got frustrated and told her never mind and hung up. In my opinion, its terrible customer service. read more
