I used a Groupon voucher to sign up for the 'Apple Developer Course', which purports to teach you how to develop iOS apps for the iPhone/iPad. I believe this course should be renamed 'iOS App-Building For People Who Don't Really Want To Code, Develop, or Understand Anything, or Get Anywhere'. The course content is a shambles; chapters 1-3 are basically 'Sign up to BuzzTouch.com'; Chapter 4 is how to rename your app on BuzzTouch.com ('Click rename; save; END'); Chapter 5 is changing your icon on BuzzTouch.com (it's on the *same page* as renaming your project...); Chapter 7 is almost entirely wrong (the author actually hits a fatal error, but doesn't realize it); Chapter 8 is solely dedicated to pointing out the errors in Chapter 7; and Chapter 9 is "How to click refresh in your iPhone emulator program: Click 'refresh'. END". Chapter 10 purports to be 'More about BuzzTouch.com', but the 5-minute long video has no audio. I tried it on multiple platforms and browsers, but no dice. At which point I gave up and emailed E-Careers to point out the shambolic nature of the course and to get a refund. I have not had any kind of a response; not even 'Thanks for your email, we will eventually send you a copy-n-pasted response within 5 working days'. I wrote a similar review to this on TrustPilot, as e-Careers seem to make a big deal out of having such a high rating on there; I now know why. It has been over a week since I emailed e-Careers but I have received no response; however, on the same day I left my review on TrustPilot, e-Careers have attempted to get it removed citing 'lack of proof of purchase' as the reason. So... they didn't have enough time to respond to my email within eight days, but they DID find the time to try to get a bad review deleted within minutes of it appearing? Extraordinarily dissatisfied with this service, and clearly e-Careers are attempting to artificially engineer their reviews to make them appear a much better service than they actually are. I have just recently completed the Lean Six Sigma course through E Careers. This is probably the worst course I have ever done. The material was awful and the online tuition was like watching paint dry. There was no support from E Careers during my course. I am gutted that I wasted my resettlement grant from the Royal Air Force on these guys. read more

Has to be a scam. I signed up for a course on the 12-Feb 2018. Every week I call and every week it has been the same excuse " the course will be ready next week as we are having technical issues" No matter how cheap the course is I highly recommend againt them as it nothing short of a scam. read more

I bought a course with an exam. The course was ok but the materials had been reused from an earlier edition without anybody bothering to proofread them as there were references to the earlier course, which left me wondering whether any other parts of the material were out-of-date. I had a problem with the exam code that they sent me and they gave me inaccurate information about why it wasn't working and told me it'd be resolved within 24 hours. Four days later, I chased it to be told that the exam wasn't actually available and to request a refund. Then I received an email to say they'd give me a code to book my exam elsewhere so I wasn't getting the refund they'd told me to request 15 minutes earlier. Still, I wasn't sent a code when they said that I would be and I had to chase it again. Their support staff just talk at you in a robotic way and never actually answer questions or reply to what you've said to them. I've sent two emails querying why I was told I'd get a refund as they can't offer what I paid for and one about making a complaint and they haven't acknowledged any of it. Really rude. read more

I'm afraid I am totally dissatisfied and unhappy with the company and the treatment they gave so far. Very unsatisfied with what the course provides in terms of collateral and general support during the course. How is somebody able to understand the course and content with the data it's provided (very poor and bad design), it is unsubstantial and I'm not comfortable with the support offered. The exercises have answers but no explanations at all. When you ask the tutor, first it takes at least 2 days for an answer and when you have, the answer is completely useless, they ask you to look for the answer in the material. If I am asking, it's because first I need an explanation, second I haven't found the answer in the material. I applied for the course on 15th May and before I finished the first module (20 days later) I realised it would be a waste of time and a gain of stress and headache. The customer service is horrible. I didn't ask for any refund (I had already paid 2 instalments and was going to pay the third), I just wanted to cancel the course and stopped paying for the following months (7 more months). I had no help at all, the person who answered me repeated the same email over and over again saying that as I had started and redeemed the voucher I could not cancel or have any refund or stop paying for the course. Again, I didn't ask for the refund, I just don't think I should continue doing a course that is not helping me in anyway. I don't remember seeing any warning or pop up that by proceeding I would deny my rights to cancel the course. My understanding was that my initial payment would be non refundable but I would have 30 days to cancel, should I be unsatisfied with the course and content. I was VERY unsatisfied. On speaking and seeking the advice of friends and colleagues upon navigating the course material, support and guidance. I decided to cancel, and informed them straight away. This was within the 30 day cancellation period. I was not sent any physical material, and I didn't expect to be refunded my initial payment. I did expect to be able to cancel the course and the direct debit though. IF by redeeming the voucher, this voids the right to cancel, then your website should clearly alert the user to the fact that by clicking 'proceed' they are relinquishing their right to cancel and will be liable to pay the full balance of the course. I just don't understand how can a person find out that the course is unhelpful without seeing it, without redeeming the voucher you can't have any access to the course. I've never accessed the course again since then, and I am still paying for a course that I am not using (4 instalments already). Because I am obliged to pay for it. It's just unbelievable! read more

Worst Course i have ever experienced!! I have had many issues for the past month now. I've phoned up their helpline numerous times explaining my problem with the course for to only be either hung up on or put on hold for a long amount of time. No one has been able to help me so i decided to ring up Sage and explain my issue to them. I was told by them to ring back up e-careers as it was a problem their end. I then proceeded to phone back up e-careers and let them know i had spoken to Sage- i was then put through to someone who i could barely understand as their English was not the most clearly spoken. Although I am not gaining anything but out of my own conviction I am more than pleased to write this review. I am up and charged as e-careers has proved to be a boon for me. I bought the Java training package and acquired some great skills which fetched me a humble job to begin my career. The turning point of my job interview was, when I said that I have taught myself through e-learning and the later discussion was driven by me. read more
