I dreaded the thought of sitting down this afternoon with an agent/broker to have them sell me…read morebusiness insurance but the experience I had today at Calderone Insurance, was far from dreadful. Heather was energetic from the start and genuinely seemed interested in understanding our business, to make sure I left with a plan that fully covered what we needed it to. I appreciated that she was willing to take the time to better explain aspects that I was unsure about, but didn't eat up either of our time by over-explaining details that were already understood. Heather didn't try and up-sell me additional policies or make me feel obligated to bundle my other insurances with her, but instead offered a few suggestions on policies I should consider later on, as the business expands. I received two other quotes, from different brokers before stopping in today and both quotes were sent to me, from submitting an online form and without me actually talking with someone. While the quoted amounts weren't as bad as I thought they'd be, I felt as though it would be better to talk to someone and make sure I even knew what the heck I was needing. I was honestly willing to pay more for the insurance, just to have the peace of mind that it's correct, but here's the best part; The policy that Heather set me up with, was about 28% cheaper than the first two! I have been trying for more than 2 weeks to speak with Andy himself, by phone and email, and have yet to receive a response. We had gotten our granddaughter on to auto insurance through this office, as we had nothing but good relationships previously, and had really not needed attention recently. However, when my granddaughter was recently rear ended by a 23 yr old intoxicated jerk, she needed to file a claim. She did everything right, but when asking for help from our agent, there were unreturned phone calls, and one of the employees even hit on her over the phone. Wish I was making that up. This individual then told me how much time he had spent on my granddaughter over and above his required work. Both he and the other employee are really big on telling you how hard they work, but never really made an effort to do right by helping her navigate her first accident. When I left a message again for Andy to call me, as I am ready to leave this agency, he had his employee call my granddaughter to "fix" the problem. Tired of being ignored!

My husband and I held our life insurance policies with Vision Financial Group for many years when…read moreour Vision rep recommended to us that we REPLACE our Mass Mutual policies with Principal policies instead. We took his advice, completed all the paperwork, and had the monthly premium automatically deducted from our bank account. Unbeknownst to us, we continued to be charged for the old Mass Mutual policies after the Principal policy charges were instituted by Vision. Then our Vision rep passed away. We contacted Vision management to request that our duplicate-policy charges be refunded, as we had canceled the Mass Mutual accounts and should not have been charged. Sam Terrazzino at Vision explained to me that this is not an unusual error, and our rep would have needed to take a second step of contacting the old policy company even after termination paperwork was submitted, which did not happen in our case. Nevertheless, Vision refuses to refund the payments for the policy we canceled. Vision is unwilling to make this right. Avoid this company.
