Joe's wife is a very judgemental person and treats people very crappy. I wouldn't suggest renting from these people unless you want a landlord that is a totally ridiculous. I failed to pay attention to the 'absolutely no refund in the event of cancellation' policy. The day before my arrival, my sister went by to make sure she knew where to drop me off (she lives in another city), and said it wasn't clean and felt quite sketchy - so much so that she, who is very down to earth and not one for super expensive, 5 star hotels, said that she would not feel safe staying there. As a Vermonter, she knew that Vermont Social Services gives hotel vouchers to those who are unsheltered, and she thought that this might be a location where those were in use. I I contacted the owner to see if I could get a partial refund, and received no response. The Best Western Hotel is just across the highway and it was absolutely wonderful and actually not much more expensive either. I'd avoid this one.
