Absolute horrible experience. They were a last ditch effort to have teeth extracted on my 12 year…read moreold. (That insurance would cover)The teeth to be extracted were to be discussed between the orthodontist and the oral surgeon. We arrived for our consult on time and waited over an hour to be seen. The dentist who saw us was not the one performing the surgery. I was never informed which teeth they were wanting to remove. The day before the appointment I came in with the consent paperwork and said I'm not consenting to anything until I am provided with more information (which teeth, what type of anesthesia). Info provided, paperwork submitted. Day of the appointment (last appointment of the day). We were whisked back to a cluttered operatory room to talk with the oral surgeon, his demeanor was rushed and uninterested. Did not make my child feel at ease. Surgery is performed, my daughter is rushed to stand up and walk to xray (mind you she is extremely groggy, can't hold her eyes open and can hardly stand) there was no empathy or assistance to get her up and to xray. The doctor was rude , it was Dr. Reza Hadioonzedah. Aftercare instructions were poor, we were handed 4x4 gauze in a sterile package that had not been ran through the sterilizer (there are indicators on the package), no syringe to clean out sockets. The front of the dental office was clean and uncluttered, the back where the operators are located was not. There were supplies stacked in the hallway, blocking means of egress. I wonder if JACHO does outlying dental clinic inspections like they do with medical clinics. I'm sure this place would fail. I worked in dental for 20 years and have high standards for care. I would not return here nor would I recommend care here. In fact, I tell people to not come to Aspen.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I just needed a denture repair on one tooth. When you google…read moreemergency denture repair, Aspen Dental is the first to pop up. When I called they said I must have an exam first before they do a repair. I didn't need an exam. I have already had one this year and my insurance would not cover another one. They said it was the new doctor's policy. So I called corporate because it does not state that you must have an exam to be able to get a repair. So corporate called them with me on the line to help me get a repair scheduled. They said that I would have to come in for an exam and that's when the lady from corporate said she does not need an exam she needs a repair. So they said I would have to come in for a consult so they could check out my issue and see if it could be fixed. I was very happy with that. Well I went to my appointment and they refused to see me unless I had an exam done and pay out of pocket for it , which was $90. They wasted my whole day off of when I could have just went somewhere else. They do whatever they can just to make sure they can get more money from you. It's ridiculous. I went to Affordable Denture's and they immediately let me come back and check out my denture and will have it fixed for me in 2 hours. Aspen Dental should NOT be able to advertise something that they refuse to do. I will be sharing my story on every review I can possibly find to try and help someone else out. Go to Affordable Denture's because they have friendly quick service, and they actually cared about my situation. I am very self conscious without my teeth and and Affordable Denture's helped with my issue without an appointment ( I just walked in at 1:45 p.m. and my teeth will be ready at 4 p.m.) and no exams required. #Elizabethtown_Kentucky

They always treated me kindly and with respect you never had an issue with any of the employees and of course the Dentist is a great person and so is his daughter. Always think that there's two sides to any story and unfortunately, this app only allows you to hear one. I am now back being treated after several years of absence and I'm still receiving high quality dental care that I need so that's my two cents worth. I would know, however, that when someone purchases dental insurance, you should read all of the fine lines about exactly what procedures they will cover have a printed copy of that before going into treatment and ensure your dentist accept that insurance to be surprised, how many don't.

This practice has a serious problem with their front office staff. The Dentist seem competent and…read moreprofessional, however as owner of the practice the buck should stop with him. He needs to audit the practices of his billing, and whole staff. I went there for a costly procedure and was given a written estimate, which was probably close. However, on completion of the procedure I was told that I had to pay the whole amount. My insurance pays 80% in network and I have been to several other dentists who only require the 20% portion at the time. This was a shock and financial hardship for me but I paid. Billing told me that the bill would be sent to my insurance company, however only a very small portion of the procedure was sent in. I had to go back in person and ask that it be sent in and several weeks later my insurance denied it. Basic information was missing such as tooth number and xrays. My insurance company called them at least 3 times requesting information and the insurance agent even said the staff was rude to her. Finally, 4 months later after some information was provided, including xrays from another dentist showing the problem it was approved. I was reimbursed several hundred dollars that insurance said should have never happened. This was an absolute nightmare to figure out after the fact with insurance and required 8 phone calls. Bottom line from common sense and the insurance company is that the bill should be sent to insurance and let them decide if they will pay it. I felt that the office staff made their own call to either save the process of dealing with insurance or possibly incompetence. Why would they not at least humor the patient and send the bill in? I am a reasonable person and would comply with the insurance companies' decision but in this case I was not given the chance. If I had given up I would be several hundred dollars in the hole for this.
