During the hurricane of 2024 I was contacted by an agent of Evolve Construction for assistance with…read morerepairs to my roof. They had a law firm that would assist with the process. It took over a year but it finally went through litigation and I was awarded funds to pay for repairs. The law firm was paid one third of the funds and Evolve was to get the remaining funds. I was not happy with how this turned out is I was going to cancel contract with Evolve at a cost but we renegotiated a contract where they would pay me back a portion of those funds to pay for other damages they w repair the roof with their portion. As soon as I signed the funds over to them they stopped responding to phone calls or text messages. Around the 10th of January they began replacing the roof. There was no communication about the process. It is 6 weeks later and I can't get anyone to tell me what's going on with the roof and the check that | was to receive. I contacted the city inspector and they stated that there was no permit filed for my address for roof repair. I am more that disappointed and confused by the treatment of this company. There was no consideration or customer service as well as quality control at anytime during this process. Now I am forced to look for legal assistance to resolve this problem.
