I have been a member of E3 for almost a year, and it's been amazing. Every work out is still challenging in the best way and I always leave feeling great. E3 strives for excellence in every aspect while fostering a welcoming and motivating atmosphere. Before joining, I tried out quite a few other gyms (Alchemy365, F45, Barrys, FitWall, TransFORM to name a few...) looking for a workout that was tough as hell and would push me, but also a place that wasn't intimidating. E3 was that place! The gym is clean and well-maintained and whether you are an avid weightlifter or cardio enthusiast, this gym has many classes to achieve your fitness goals. All the coaches deserve immense praise for their unwavering dedication and professionalism. Their friendly and positive energy is contagious and they'ree always available to answer questions and provide personalized guidance. They definitely go above and beyond to ensure members feel comfortable and are maximizing their potential. E3 has an inclusive and supportive community. It's refreshing to be a part of a gym where individuals of all fitness levels are encouraged and welcomed. Two years later and we are still madly in love with e3. These guys are passionate about fitness, and their drive is contagious. They work very hard to make the classes and small group sessions challenging, yet achievable. They go way outside of the classes and they also help each individual to live a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, attitude, and recovery. This is where I am their biggest challenge, as my love for tacos and tequila along with my old age and injuries make me a bit more difficult to work with at times. read more

e3 is so unique in their approach- from the class format, to the overall atmosphere. I joined a few weeks ago, and while there are mornings I wake up and dread my workout, it's because I know they are going to push me- but I always leave feeling incredible. There are small (max 6 people) and large (max 20 people) group- "team"- classes, though I've yet to have over 8 people in the team classes I've taken. This means you're getting individual attention every session. Basically, you're getting one hell of a deal on small group personal training. I suggest taking advantage of their 2-week trial. It gives you a chance to try out everything they have to offer. If you're looking to really meet your fitness goals, and not just go through the motions of getting your workout in, you will not be disappointed. The trainers and other members remember your name, cheer you on, push you past your perceived limits, and are always there to high five you after each session. They offer enough early morning classes and evening classes to fit most schedules, and they range from 30-60 minutes. Get on in there! read more

update: learned my hernia from pregnancy was worse thanks to planks and other exercises done here; even though from day 1 i alerted evert trainer to these issues. Owner calls clients who need modifications or email him a pain in his ass. Great gym for people who want to be extreme athletes but you will be deemed "untrainable" if you need a modification approved by a physical therapist or doc. I've struggled with my weight and fitness my entire life. I joined e3 in October of 2014 and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I wish they had earlier team classes but that's my only complaint. The trainers/coaches are the awesome and actually care about my progress and that I'm doing exercises right. They also worked with me on nutrition & healthy eating habits to fuel my workouts. It's not cheap, but believe me it's worth it. read more

I've been a member for over a year now and I'm a raving fan. The coaches are all passionate, knowledgeable and care about their clients. The classes are always challenging and unique. The space is awesome and convenient. Biggest thing - community. I used to just go to the gym and do my own thing. At e3 you get energy from the other members, everyone is very encouraging and I've made a lot of friends. Prime example - the holiday party had 120 people having a blast together and raising money for charity - not a normal gym but a fitness lifestyle community. Now when I travel for work I find myself missing the early alarm and 6am sweat session. I've tried other independent gyms, spin classes, Orange Theory, etc. These guys are the best. read more

I've been going to e3 for a few months now and I have to say that I really enjoy it and it has helped me stay consistent with my fitness. The facility is modern, the staff is wonderful, and the classes are perfectly designed for a quick but effective workout. e3 offers two primary approaches to their classes, a small group format and a large group format. These are called e3 and TEAM respectively. They have recently modified their small group classes and I haven't tried the new version yet but my understanding is that it is an improvement and I have only heard great things about it. I've attended the TEAM workouts a lot and they are great! Again, this is their large group format that accommodates up to 20 people at a given time. Don't worry, I rarely see that many people attending a class though. I would venture to guess that the typical TEAM size is around 10 people a class or maybe a little less. I usually find them to be the perfect size for me with enough people to make me feel motivated and engaged but not so many that I am overwhelmed. Saturday mornings, however, are really popular and they can fill up to capacity but it's actually pretty fun when it happens. I'm just glad it doesn't happen all the time. I like the TEAM workouts because it has a community feel and I've made some good friends doing them. In reality, the entire e3 facility has a community feel and if you attend regularly you are likely to become well acquainted with the coaches and your fellow workout buddies. I must admit, when I first tried e3 I was skeptical but I was quickly won over. I told my buddy who first invited me that are three reasons why I decided to join e3. First, I enjoyed the workouts but that is a pretty basic requirement. I know you can get a good workout at a lot of places so it takes more than that to convince me. The second thing that enticed me was the heart rate tracking they offer. I'm a nerd and I like to track progress with charts and graphs and keep tabs on how I am doing. Their heart rate tracking system allows me to do that during the workout itself so I can make sure I'm putting in the right amount of effort and it allows me to track it long term so I can see my progress across months. They offer a competitive point system with the heart rate monitors, which is pretty cool, but I don't get too involved in that. What I really like is that I can use the mobile app to send my workout summary to my personal trainer as proof that I am doing my cardio exercises that he insists I do. I love this feature of e3 but even this is available at other places like Orangetheory. The thing that really sold me was their commitment to community, both their own fitness community and the local Denver area. I like that they offer social and special events for their clients and that they support organizations like local schools. When I walk in the door it's not uncommon for the coach to yell "Hi!" to me or for us to have good conversation here and there. They really are great people. Also, when I first came to their facility and saw that they support KIPP Colorado Schools I was sold. I work for a non-profit that specializes in supporting K-12 education and we support KIPP extensively so I was happy to see that. Overall, you will get a good workout, with good people, that have a good mission. Now, if I had any criticisms to offer it would be related to the information about their fitness programming. Understanding their programs can be intimidating for a new person and it takes a little time to become acquainted with what their classes are. Their TEAM classes are called things like Enduro, Inferno, and Battle. When I first joined it wasn't clear to me what to expect in each class. You can sort of guess from the name of the class but it did take me a little time to figure out what the feel of each class is. Their e3 classes are similar with names like Strength, Power, Performance, and Renew. I don't do the e3 classes so I don't have a good idea of what these classes entail. It's not really that hard to figure out once you try it out but the information they provide tends to be pretty heavy on superfluous language that doesn't help with making it clear what to expect. Even a basic list of what exercises to expect in each class would be useful. Check out their website and you will see what I mean. I don't think this is really a negative of e3, just something to note about the way they work. If you are curious you can always ask them but the coaches are pretty busy so I don't know how much time they have to sit with you and describe it. I've never had that opportunity, but I never sought it out either. In any case, e3 is a solid workout facility with a nice, local feel. It has all the bells and whistles that you need, it is clean and modern, and offers a great assortment of programming to fit your needs. read more

I have been a member of this awesome gym for over two years, and never was I so consistent with my fitness as I am now. Their small group training classes offer camaraderie and encouragement, as well as the individualized attention of a personal trainer. The coaches always look at the big picture of fitness/nutrition/life management, knowing that it must all work together to achieve results. e3 has enabled me to reach goals outside of the gym, that I never before dreamed possible - life changing for sure. I was introduced to e3 Fitness through my work since we engaged e3 Fitness to help us, as an office, to focus on a fit/healthy month. I then thought, what the heck, I'll try a class or two at the actual gym itself since I live in the Wash Park area. At the time I had belonged to another gym and my mentality towards that gym was "something is better than nothing." However, after seeing what e3 is all about, I have never signed a contract faster. E3 has been such an incredible gym to be a part of and I have never been in better shape mentally or physically. E3 offers various types of group training with each class having a particular "focus". Whether you want to be stronger, to be faster, to lose weight, to focus on you athleticism or endurance, the coaches at e3 have tailored their programs to fit any and every fitness goal. The coaches are motivating and inspiring and they will push you... hard! Although it's always rough turning off that alarm at 5:00 in the morning to go get my sweat on, I leave every single time feeling healthier and stronger and that mentality stays a part of my attitude throughout the remainder of the day. The group fitness classes and personal training at e3 are the best I have experienced at a gym in Denver. Both the coaches and members are extremely motivated to improve and it's a really positive community to be a part of. e3 Fitness is not just a gym, it is a small group facility that feels more like personal training! My husband and I spent several years being too intimidated by the caliber of people walking in and out of e3 (we live across Broadway) to walk in and ask about their model. When we finally bite the bullet, we were so upset we had waited as long as we did. Imagine how awesome we could be RIGHT NOW if we had started 2 years ago! Justin walked us through their process, showed us around, and we knew we had found our fitness home. The coaches care about whether you make it to class or not. They care about whether you are doing the combinations correctly, and they care about whether or not you are committing to your goals. E3 is as good as gets. I have been at e3 fitness for over 5 years. This gym has been the backbone to me being a competitive athlete at 39 almost 40 years old. Training here with these coaches and the other athletes I workout with has given me the body and the mind to charge hard skiing, crush adventure races, and be not only a competitive athlete in mountain biking but a successful one at that. I can with confidence go out and do whatever athletic activity I want and be good at it too. I'm by no means that guy we all hate who gets to do a few push ups and take a jog and is gifted with talent and a set six-pack abs. I like most of us deal with permanent body injuries that myself and the coaches have to work around for me to be successful at life's fun stuff. e3 has also taught me the most important key to being and staying fit and that is food and recovery form training. Nutrition and recovery are the huge key that most of us miss or don't understand I think. The whole program is laid out to give me the tools I need to not only preform at the level I want to preform at but to look good doing it too.
